almost perfect....the nut thread has the very same dimensions than the bolt as it was generated substracting from its geometry....anyhow great video (i replayed at 0.25x speed when necessary)....the most difficult part was to generate the trapezoid to revolve the bolt thread because of the many constrains...i manage it at the end but not in the same sequence as shown in the video.... thank you very much!
Thanks for sharing! I may have to view again to get everything. I will have to double check some of the numbers in my machinist handbook. Very useful info.
Thank you for your video. A bit too fast in a couple of places, so wasn't easy to follow, but nothing that the pause button can't fix. And the sound. The lack of some sound. Maybe that was the reason of that thumb down (not mine). Suggestions: No necessarily music, but some "click" or key pressing sounds, plus some text comments will be super welcome!!!
A great demonstration of your abilities but don’t forget how it was when you first started using this great piece of software,if you could have slowed down and given commentary, you would have made a very productive and educational tutorial,l know you have the ability. just my opinion, cheers
Thanks for this video. When start drawing the nut you made the radius of the circle inside the hexagon 5.053 mm. From where you get this value although it is not shown in the drawing?
So for a fine thread external thread 25mf, pitch 1.5, the truncation of thread root & external thread crest is .162. The height of internal thread & depth of thread engagement is .812?
Best example yet. Most just make threads with no real world pitch/dimensions. I’m use to fusion doing the math for me so this helped for shaper

Thank you.

you can set the video playback speed to less than 1x and pause the video if necessary....childish complaint

How would you make the groove to the tip on a cone like in wood screws?
SHAPR3D does not have such a feature.
If you can slow down and did some explaining, would have been a nice tutorial. In this video, you are simply showing your skills
Thanks for this video.

Another no offset thread.....
How about making a American threads & npt threads inner & outer threads?
