  • Bearing extractors, also known as bearing pullers, are used to remove a bearing from a hub shell or frame component by gripping the inside race of a sealed bearing. These must be size specific, or you risk damaging the extractor - what better project to practice creating on Shapr3D?

Just ordered a new iPad Pro. Cannot wait to try this out. I’ve been using Form Z (for around 20 years) on my Macs and have been dying to see a REAL CAD app for the iPad.
    CanNOT wait!

knowing how to make that triangle, and how to extract it to form threads was insane...i wish i knew how to do that. i legit can do it on a lathe for real faster than i can figure out the dimensions for doing it on here

Nice tutorial! I now understand that there are multiple ways to model external threads. I noticed that you did not model the internal threads. Is there a way to create internal threads?

Hi 👋 it is the same, just draw the cross section inside the thread, then union it together :)
It may be needed to use the section view: support.shapr3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008543033-What-is-Section-view-

Hi, Please go to your iPad's Settings and scroll down to Shapr3D. There will be an option "Display pencil and touches (requires restarting the app)" - switch that on :)

What's the point if you can't animate the part and test its movements?

Great app but the music is loud, inappropriate and distracting. How about gentle classical or even a voice-over? :)

Hi Shapr3D, I've been trying to find a way to make 4 bar linkages in 3D shape, as an important part of a folding bike modelling project. I looked everywhere for days but still couldn't find a way to do it. Could you please help and/or put me in the right direction?

@@Shapr3d Thanks, I did read that post, but it was only possible to make the linkages in sketches not in 3D form. As soon as I started to add the extra dimensions to the lines, the linkages broke up. Did I do something wrong? Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Hello, we have recently added the ability to directly import SLDPRT and SLDASM (without referenced components) into Shapr3D. You can see the full list of import formats here: bit.ly/3jbwmoO
