Although this movie hasn't aged well, this scene was always my favorite in this film. Despite the aging CGI the concept is still heroic and amazing till this very day.
I feel like there was a time that companies tried to hide being evil, but now they openly embrace it. "So we can just... Outright buy everything and then rent it all out?"
The first Robocop movie I saw as a kid cause I couldn’t see the other two since they were R rated. Boy was I missing out the third one was the worst in the trilogy. I’m glad I got to see the first two as an adult. This was like the Disney of the Robocop movies, Robocop is supposed to be ultra violent.
Im gonna be in the minority here: I loved this film for finally seeing OCP stood up to and finished. Like enough of them getting away with everything and just get rid of them already. Murphy’s jetpack flying was cool. And I kinda liked the lady who played Bertha back then.
I get chills hearing the sound of him arriving while everyone is looking like what the hell is that and then the glass shattering and he taking out the tank . Man chills 😂
This is just me having a crazy dream. I would love to see a movie where it has three of my favorite robots. Optimus prime terminator and robocop in a movie fighting against evil society. That would be awesome.
I know people see this movie as worse than the previous 2, but I gotta say I love the idea of robocop finally being able to turn against OCP and their oppression of Detroit.
Detroit 9 News: today! cops confronted a mostly peaceful tank deployment against OCP and its efforts to clean up the neighborhood for the poor! later on tonight! *cuts to ad* I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR! Me: I WOULDN'T! *turns TV off*
@@SirDankleberry It was good because it was the culmination of everything that had been building up since the beginning. The downfall of OCP, the final battle for Detroit, Robocop finally reclaiming his humanity, and being given the ability to stand up to his oppressors.
The movie storyline is pretty good. The movie overall have great moments. Its not violent like the first, but it's nowhere dumb like the second. It stand it's ground on its own. The musical score comes up at the right times, the ninja robot is a very interesting tweak, the poor being discarted by the rich. I always liked this movie.
When i watch this scene i was like WOOOOO GO ROBOCOP come on a flying robocop now thats SICK lets b honest who says robots cant fly even though back didnt CGI was invented so early in the 90s
As flawed as this movie is, it's a guilty pleasure. It's not Peter Weller, it's Robert Burke. Watching the conclusion to the RoboCop movies is a welcome addition in my house. I was 8 when this came out, just an excited kid to have another RoboCop movie.
You could literally chalk that up to OCP filming their campaign to pave the way for Delta City. The 3 Robocop movies made it clear OCP was giving the Detroit media the play by play every step of the way... ...even to the point a news anchor protests reading the OCP version of Robocop's actions on the ait. So cameras and crew don't stick out... unlike someone thinking a shower curtain is Kevlar...
If the script was better, he probably would have done this movie if he had not been contractually obligated. Then again, I think you might be right that he turned this down because of the jet pack addition. He probably didn't want his Robocop to be able to fly.

THIS IS SO DIFFERENT BUT VERY ENJOYABLE BUT A VERY ODD MOVIE I GIVE IT A THUMBS DOWN . ANYWAY THE NEW YEAR WILL HAVE DIFFERENT MOVIES LETS BE POSITIVE.
I felt like mcdaggett’s death would’ve been before when Robocop escapes the ocp building with Nikko and Lazarus because it would make a lot of sense that the ocp building would explode, and after that Robocop would save the Detroit policeman and civilians by taking out the rehabs and splatterpunks to make the ending a little more exciting.
OCP: We got a tank
Cops: We got a Robocop
Random Resident: “You got a VampireCop?”
You got a GhostCop??@@kickinitolschool8406
RoboCop has just took out the tank..
Some other guy; how about a gundam?
you got a Alien Cop
I like how robo stopped for a brief moment for fanfare. Showed his solidarity with the people of old Detroit.
i love the 3 movies and the tv serie
@kibakim Which one, there was 2 TV series.

Oh I remember this :)
My friends and I went crazy at this scene. We nearly broke down in tears and joy.

OCP & Splatterpunks: We have a tank.
Resistance & Detroit PD : We have a flying Robocop.

CGI in this movie?
It has aged well
As bad as robo 3 was kind of crazy its relatable today with corporations taking over neighborhoods and housing
IT is coming more and more closer to a dystopian future and we are walking into it with glee it seems.
I feel like there was a time that companies tried to hide being evil, but now they openly embrace it. "So we can just... Outright buy everything and then rent it all out?"
It's not a bad movie.
Sooooo.. it's not bad. Minus the samurai robot it's quite enjoyable.
I Like Robocop Song Looks Like An Anthem Of Every Hero There That Ready To Help People
That's pretty much what he is. a Hero for the people.
Yes! The original theme song from the first movie, by Basil Poledouris. Not the Bad one from the 2nd!
When I was a kid I wish to see a team up with Robocop and Batman while enjoying this scene
1:26 Those dramatic push in camera shots xD

I absolutely love Robocop. The second not as much and the third didn’t, I even watch it past 20 minutes.
Loved RoboCop I had all his toys and everything I even cried as a kid when the bad guys and the cops hurt him I wanted to help RoboCop so much

Robocop was the first Iron patriot
I just thought of it real quick and here is your comment 😅
Technically War Machine was the first Iron Patriot lmao.
Iron Man vs Robocop.
@TransDrummer1312, I'm pretty sure Norman Osborn has that honour
This movie was the worst of the trilogy but I won't lie, Robocop with a jetpack is cool

True, neither of the sequels were as good as the original but at least the first two movies had Peter Weller as Robocop.
might be a low budget but million times better and sensible than that crappy trash 2014 remake
The 2014 might not have had the same gravity. Still it did have its redeeming qualities. So on a scale of 1 to 5. I gave it a solid 3.
THAT JETPACK IS COOL THE MOVIE IS SO DIFFERENT BUT IT HAS AN EXCELLENT CAST THE MUSIC IS AWESOME.
"Dead or alive you're coming with me"
Me: No, but can I have that fancy jetpack
Robocop: the cavalry has arrived

Best scean in RoboCop 3 I thought
A gun arm that has a machine gun, a flamethrower and a rocket launcher? No wonder RoboCop is a top notch and not just with his holster pistol
Just when you know the battle you are losing is over thats when a miracle shows up and within that instant the tables are turned round.
I just like that small moment where the APCs warning system goes off.
Ladies and Gentlemen say hello to Air Force robocop.
Robocop 3 is the equivalent to playing with your toys as a child and getting bored so you go all in to end it and move on
Somehow, I was hoping they could get one of those Cyborg Ninja body and put Murphy's brain in it, giving him a more human "life" at the end ...
