    Quick tip brother. Spray your chalk lines with clear spray paint so its water proof, you'll never lose your lines when you shoot water to saturate your sub-grade. Aloha from Hawaii 🤙🏾

    Great job! Congratulations! Why is there such a large spacing between the rebar? Why don't you use spacers under rebar?

    The company I worked for and I earned my stripes from we always used wood bullfloat then hit it with the mag after ive done it other places where they only use the mag. And to me I can definitely see and "feel" the difference. On my jobs I always hit it with the woody first like your pops says OSS. Local 300 cement masons and plasterers oaktown in the house

    What do you pay those finishers for the day? What is the going rate?

    Looks really good! We just did one this past weekend and we have a lot to learn. How high and wide was that step you did to the patio doors?

    • @odellcompletelandscape384
      @odellcompletelandscape384  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was a 7 inch step and I can't remember exactly how wide it was :/ but thank you glad you liked it.

    Did you guys bull float everything twice? Not used to seeing this, usually see guys bull float once pretty soon after screeding and then they leave it to set up. Would love to hear the reasoning?

    How much sqft of concrete was that? How many finishers did you have including yourself? Thanks!

    • @odellcompletelandscape384
      @odellcompletelandscape384  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe it was around 1200 sq ft and I had two extra finishers with me that day

    Might be a dumb? But what is the concrete mix you are using or/and brand? Would u recommend quikrete for a smaller job like this?

    • @odellcompletelandscape384
      @odellcompletelandscape384  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The mix I used was a 3000 psi and I would not recommend quikcrete unless you mix some Portland cement with the bags
