Just from my experience, I have done the same "shutting down the PC while updating".
Then after restarting, it just said " undoing changes made to the computer".
1st : Don't panic.. It will soon come back to normal. In my case, it took 10mins. It is very less because , I shutdown my computer while it was updating at 5%.
I believe the time it takes to go back to normal depends on the %of the new update installed..
Lesson learnt : Don't ever shutdown the PC while updating.
In Any of your case, just wait until the undoing finishes.. just don't do anything stupid.
Eventually it will be back to normal...
