They both were because the friend said she bought $1500 tickets before. At that point, buy your own seat.

You can have problems regardless. I bought a round trip ticket way in advance. The return flight was supposed to leave at 6 am with a connection in ATL. I’m thinking surely I will be fine. Then a mechanical issue repeatedly delayed our flight and since later scheduled flights to ATL were booked I could not get on them. We didn’t leave until 4 PM because they had to fly another plane down. The vast majority of us had already missed our connecting flights so the airline had to put us up in a hotel. I was scheduled to work the next day and had to tell my boss I wasn’t coming in because I was stuck in Atlanta overnight. Fortunately, he was understanding.

It doesn't sound that crazy to me because the university I was accepted into accepted a lot of transfer students in late, even if you applied much earlier. I had my application in 2 months before the deadline and still got accepted about 3 weeks before the fall semester began. Luckily, the university is only 30 minutes away from me so I didn't have to worry about housing and things of that sort, but sometimes, these universities can be a bit sloppy when it comes to handling enrollment. She could be lying but considering my own experience, I wouldn't outright dismiss it as a lie cause that is possible. Hope that helps!

But you are correct, she said she hadn't been accepted but urgently need to go find a job and housing... so either she missed the piece saying I was a late acceptance student so I was under a short deadline, or it was edited poorly, OR she just is moving there to work. Well, I had severe medical issues when I turned 19 that affected my GPA at a community college, so when I applied to a 4-year university I had to write a letter to their board (I can’t remember what exactly they called it) explaining that or I couldn’t attend. They said it would be a flat-out denial. The board only met once a month, on the third Thursday, so I didn’t find out I was actually accepted until the week of school, but the office of admissions gave me their word well in advance, and I was given access to their system to choose a room. So I knew where I would be, but I just didn’t have the actual acceptance until that Monday. Then we moved in on Tuesday and started classes on Thursday…
Well I wouldn’t say that. In other case, she acknowledges that sometimes the police are stupid. It was a case of the landlord being aggressive to a tenant and the landlord assaulted the tenant. The tenant called the police but the police didn’t arrest the landlord. That’s when judge Judy said that the police are something stupid because the landlord asked why wasn’t she arrested

Had to pause watching in my tv to come to the comments section to say this lol - I don’t like the plaintiffs attitude. I understand she’s upset about losing out on her money but I never understand how people go stand before a judge and give them an attitude and expect that same judge to help them. I know the verdict isn’t based on attitude but have some respect.
