This is the reason you won’t let your kids take care of your dog. You have strict ownership responsibilities when you have a dog so never ever let a child take care of the dog when your not present. If you love your dog, don’t let your child go out by themself with the dogs. It can end up bad and the police give you a order to put the dog down. So when you got a dog it’s YOUR responsibility and only yours. Don’t put that on your underage kids.

It doesn’t matter if he was teasing the dog or not…kids will be kids and dogs will be dogs. If you own a dog you are responsible for their actions. Our children, regardless of the bad choices they may make, need to be protected. If you want your dogs to run outside they need to on a leash or in a fence.

Not do all this extra. You shouldn't feel bad for doing what's right even if it is your fault.

@@queenbee3647my grandma had a min pin (miniature pinscher) who was a little psycho too. She was fine with all us grandkids. Never was aggressive at all with us other than stealing my son's graham cracker right out of his hand. He was a year old and she grabbed it so fast and ran to the other side of the room with it and he was laughing so hard. Thought it was so funny until she started eating it and he realized he lost it for good lmao. Good thing I had more haha. But if someone approached my grandma's yard that she didn't know look out. I remember I was living with her for a few years and the police came to get me to look at a lineup to see if I could pick out someone that was going around from store to store that morning using a stolen credit card and this dog was going after the officer's like crazy. She of course was well aware that her dog was a psycho and held her back and ended up having to put her in her bedroom or tie her to the railing inside with her leash but yeah. Grandma constantly had to tell people to back off when she would walk her as well because most people that would reach out to try to pet her she would snap at. And if they were crossing paths with another dog or a squirrel or something holy smokes.

    •  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

Nah. People walk up to small dogs and automatically put their hands in their faces or on them to pet or whatever. Would they do that to a Rottweiler they didn't know? Also, little kids think because they're little they can do the same or they can tease them and because they're little they won't react. Parents teach your little brats to respect all animals and respect their space til they are familiar and accept you.
