OH how i miss your fitness/sprinting content...6 or 7 years ago i started to learn about s & c And athletic training i was so lucky that your basic movements seri s was basically the base of my knowledge 7 years after tons of courses and videos And i still swear by your name !
I like to use them for strenght based conditioning twice a week around my powerlifting training. Kettlebell swings for longer durations are torture and I mentally quit before I physically quit. It's much easier to keep going if I change kettlebell exercises over the course of my 10 min conditioning workout rather than do the swing for 10 mins straight.
Amazing points, as always! What do you think about "natural" movement such as parkour? Both for fitness and healthy movement patterns. I found that the strength it gives is truly universal (kinda like kettle bell), but i can imagine that it can exaggerate a bad posture/pattern. It can involve quite high impacts so it can be taxing to the body, but if done correctly, it's really fun, just like being a kid again.
This is the first time I bumped into your channel and video. That was unexpectedly smart, enjoyable and funny. However, replacing dumbells with kettlebells doesn't simulate the experience. You can use a single dumbell but the weight distribution is different. Kettlebell is offside while the dumbbell in the middle of your hand and the force working downwards only and not pulling you sideways. Also, I find the 6 basic KB exercises good for the body. Almost like a posture correction exercise. I did bodybuilding most of my life and I wish I discovered KB's sooner
Outstanding. Greeat to see you making videos again. Awesome channel.
I love how the Encyclopedia has the Cambridge logo!
