I constantly think of how to make the series the most cinematic, while not being too overbearing with the lore/rp/me in general while showcasing the brilliant writing, dialogue & atmosphere of the game. My all time favourite game. Still play it when ladder resets. Unbelievable replay value and no other games give me the raw, lonely feeling Diablo and Diablo 2 give. No hand-holding.
I remenber the chap iv cinematic, it scare the shit out of me when i was 8, i feel it real that day, i was really scared but instead of some bad dreams i began to love more the game and the saga. I was sad when i saw only 3 quest because i want to roam hell and find some kind of throne similar to the arch devils on HoMM 3 campagin cinematics. Confronting one of the prime evils especially Diablo was no easy challenge. Even though I never managed to do it myself. However if there's one thing I learned and that is don't underestimate the power of your enemy because if you do, then the repercussions will be dire. And don't give into your fears at all. Because as one of my favorite characters from Star Wars Jedi Master, Yoda always said, "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hates leads to suffering."
Love the series! Btw Is there a restore content mod for Diablo 2 act 4, since as far as I know it ha originally more quests, than 3, but they were cut (again as far as I know).
Lorewise how in the blue hell could Tyrael ever have expected someone like Marius to somehow sneak past Mephisto, go trough the hellgate, parkour trough the city of the damned right down the stairs then surf the river of flame, boop on top of Hephestus's head do a spinarooney and whack Baal's soulstone in hellforge than pirouette his ass back to Sanctuary, hands in pockets, sunglasses on nose and spiffy in mouth, exiting via SnOoP DaWg's TANANANA
I honestly can't wait for d4 to finally release and if you may once you find out all about the lore please may you make some content I tend to just jump right in and learn when I'm not playing

I'm impressed that you got a 39 minute video out of a 10 minute act. You'd think the act of the namesake demon would be a little more fleshed out than Diablo 2 act 4 was. Still a great game though.
I remember that back when I first played through this chapter I've found the way Diablo is moving about, pouncing like a kitten laughable. It ruined the overall atmosphere of an infernal combat for me a bit. :D

Y'know in hindsight it makes me wonder. Diablo, Mephiso and Baal are all the prime evils, extremely powerful beings. You'd think they'd sense that Marius was there behind the pillar or at the very least, hear him. Makes me wonder if that was all part of their plan, Baal especially since the heroes were distracted with dealing with Diablo and Mephisto whilst Baal assaulted Arreat mountain.
PrimroseÑight One Question. How did you deal with those "Iron Maiden" casting un-deads. When I was playing Diablo2 as a Barbarian. Those un-deads in Act4 Hell were big problems. I fear those un-deads more than Diablo himself. Since you are a paladin I am quite sure you were having the same problem

You let them keep going, knowing that they aren't yet done with their tale of heroism. Also, the geese deserved every... last... whack from General Tso's Flail.
Oh I agree... so many things could have been great scenes rather than just simple homages to D1 and D2. Butcher, Izzy, Acts 1 and 2, with Act 3 going straight to Arreat, and Act 4 going to the battle-torn heavens. D3, in terms of landscaping and information from characters, feels a bit soulless... *Has PTSD to the Soulless Charts for Clone Hero*

I cringed when you said more "biblical" when actually Tyraels wings are alot more in line with Scripture. Tendrils of light, off of bodies of geometric shapes.

He actually wouldn't charge me in this play through. Made it difficult to be cinematic. That freaking hose though
