How much better is the component system vs the coaxials? Aside from the tweeter what would be the difference in sound?

Ther component systems often sound better for three reasons: First, its a higher quality crossover, meaning you get more control. More control translates into allowing the speakers to do their job - and only their job. Second, having separates allows you to move the tweeter up to the dash, a-pillar or sail panel. This makes it easier to get a better soundstage and increased realism. Finally, separates typically allow you to biamp, meaning you can dedicate individual amp channels to the tweeter and woofer independently. It also means you can apply independant crossover, EQ and delay (if you have a DSP). You get more power and more control that way.

So, 2 questions...I recently bought a pair of Kicker coaxials KSC650 100w rms from Crutchfield, to replace my stock soundbar speakers in a '15 Wrangler and use with the stock stereo ....Is it NECESSARY to disconnect the stock tweeter since I'm using coaxials? Also, after installing these once, I was dissatisfied with the sound, as the bass sounded overbearing and too muddy (even when backed way down on the unit). Could this be because the stock head unit isn't pushing enough wattage to power these speakers optimally, or do I need to isolate the sound? Or possibly both?...or should I just go with the 77Kick10 and be done with it? Thanks, man!

All other things being equal, the speakers very likely have crossovers in-line, be they mechanical or as a DSP in the factory audio system. This forces each speaker - factory or aftermarket - to play the frequency range the crossover/DSP tells them to. Will an aftermarket play those same frequencies better? Yes. Louder? Possibly. But without removing or bypassing those factory controls, there is a limit to what you can expect. This is why we made the KEY series of amplifiers and line out converter: it analyzes the factory frequency response and "fixes" it. We have several videos on how exactly it does this.
At the end of the day, a lack of power and a lack of frequency control is the enemy, both of which nearly everyone faces in a factory audio system. Adding small, intelligent, affordable amplification and aftermarket speakers will make a world of difference.

Okay real question how much better are the KS speakers over the CS? I am putting them into a Bronco

Not so much better/worse, more of a power handling/frequency response difference. Certainly the KS has a smoother response, especially with the silk dome tweeter. The CS is a bit louder, looking apples to apples.

@@KICKER-AUDIO so question is there a huge different in bass and sound between the 8 in and 10 in kicker hideaway sub? I keep going back and forth on which one to get. I am getting a 2023 Ford Big bend Bronco

Will the KS 6.75 play without an amp off just a aftermarket head unit?
    300 pk 150 rms???
I just bought them but getting nervous now on if they will be too underpowered.
Please let me know your thoughts as to if i should return them for the CS series?
I was looking for the added clarity though hence spending more on the KS. Installing in the front doors of a C5 vette!

While RMS is as high as 150, the KS can work with as little as 15 watts. They key is recognizing distortion while playing your music. If you find yourself pushing the volume and/or bass control near the max to get the volume you want, chances are its time to add an aftermarket amp.
