From what I see the basic difference between Arab shawarma and Turkish doner marination and Arabic one has sauces while Turkish one has vegetables. But which one is better ? It always depends on the Chef who prepares them...
@@rkershawarma is made with chicken, doner kebab is made with cows/lamb. You also have many varieties, across the Middle East some have pomegranate malasus, others have onions etc.

I've been searching for this recipe for YEARS!!! In the military I was stationed in Saudi Arabia and my favorite food was the shawarmas from Mama Noura. I've searched shawarma recipes for so long but they never made them like the ones I ate in Saudi! Thank you so much for this recipe! You have no idea how excited I am to try it 🥰! Now if you have the recipe for the strawberry banana smoothie I drank from Mama Noura I'd love you forever lol! (It tasted something like that...not sure what it was bcuz the male soldiers were the only ones allowed to go in and order it).
I'm 6 months too late but I believe what you're referring to is either Layers juice, Cocktail juice or Awar Qalb. Layers comes with 3 or 4 Layers of different fruit juices on top of each other. Awar Qalb mainly consists of ice cream/milk with mango, strawberries and banana. Cocktail is just a mix of multiple Fruits together usually appearing as a crimson red drink. All the juices I mentioned are served cold and there are many recipes online about them if you're still looking for the name!

I've never laughed through an entire cooking video before! This was fantastic! Yasser's yelling had me laughing every time! Is the 'masala' he refers to at 5:40 something you can buy at the store instead of having to buy all the different seasonings and mix them up? I don't use a lot of spices and it would be a lot cheaper to buy one specific spice blend.
The other flatbread option you showed that wasn’t the pita is Lavash which is an Armenian flatbread. Literally you guys are so talented the shawarma looks so good 😭🫶🏼
