I think you should work on thinking a bit more conceptually, lika at the end of the level the fire character jumps into a portal but why does he jump into a portal? It would be more logical if he would jump in a fire or something more related to the theme of the game. The end point should be something that gets you away from the looming darkness like a light source. and since the character is fire some sort of campfire would be logical. (ofcourse I know this is a short and quick made game so you can't flash out everything)
I feel like adding bit of smoothing to the screen movement would make it better as right now when you dash or turn the screen just snaps into a new location. Love the game🤗
It looks gorgeous, and it already was very good for a good first game. If you want any feedback though the camera movement doesn't feel very fluid to me and shakes a lot so I got a little nausea from watching it.

so why would you submit work when Christ (-mas) is a free gift, not through your works (the living), God or nothing, for living, God is life and alive, not dead, like you seem to act like
Wow, pretty amazing to see how far your skills have come since then. Great video!!
Thanks a lot Aarimous!
Great work! I can tell how much you've improved in 3 years!
Thanks a lot! At some point I was doubting a lot ahah

Love the game🤗
This is overall a great improvement and the only thing I can think to add more to is the screen shake as I feel that it is too strong

Thanks! I agree the camera could be better.. I could tune down the shake on the dash for sure
I love the shake in my opinion maybe instead just an options menu to turn it off??
@@goldenblade3735thank you for mentioning it, I noticed I'm getting very sensitive to motion sickness recently
This is amazing! Its clear that you improved a LOT in the past 3 years :)
Thanks a lot!
WOAH that's a humongous improvement!!!!
Thanks Nekoto! Pixel art is hard, I don't want to do it again ahah

Holy cow the new game looks awesome. Just think of what you'll be able to make in another 3 years at this rate. Awesome video!
Awesome work!
It's fine to stretch pixels if you're already having smooth movement.
Great work dude ! I wish to be capable of doing something like that.❤️😁
Wow, looks amazing!
WOW! Big improvement!
This is impressive 👍
Great work
oh danm, you made the collision by hand. great job :)
For the spikes yeah 👍 I could have used the the tilemaps collision, it would have been a bit faster 😅
Hey I want to become game dev like u. SO what course tutorial u suggest me to follow to become a game dev like u and what advice u want to give me
Amazing improvement and the game feels a lot more polished than how it was
10:56 what did you say?
I thought it would be much more interesting to focus on things where I could improve
it looks awesome
it looks more vibrant/better, but i feel like the game was simpler before
id rather have played the first version
The level design seems simpler because there's a lot of space between the things, but the controls were not good.
Which engine do yo use for making game
Godot
Wow so cool
the only bad point of the game I would say is the camera which is way too high. a lot of time I can't see what's below me so I just fall on spikes
this is amazing for 3 days
something that should improve the looks of the game would be to make the spikes blue because you have so much orange and blue complements orange
Yeah it could! Going with something more organic like at blue/purple mass could have been cool. With some simple particles it would look cool
Alternate tittle : Celeste 2
What's up with the camera? I almost can't see where you're landing.
I had to rush it a bit and I agree it could be better. It could be more dynamic and adjust itself by offsetting in the direction of the movement
@@MrEliptik I get that and overall it's not a big deal, you just can't unsee it, especially with that long tunnel on the start of the level.
look more like cellist but still great
Make thé final game and sell it
Thanks but I don't like platformers that much
why not use blender in 3d models to pre-render 3d/2d models/images/sprites, yes even for flat 2d
if you want to have high-resolution 2d rendered sprites, isometric, flat, any
when did game making become defined as using pre-made engines, btw, not to insult game designers
so why would you submit work when Christ (-mas) is a free gift, not through your works (the living), God or nothing, for living, God is life and alive, not dead, like you seem to act like
who gives you your stuff, if God does not give all, you doing nothing, for free
what would you add to the cross, instead dont mock the gift of the cross/blood by your forced to ded works
i...... i think it's great but.... WHY AM I MULTIPLYING LMAO
edit: the game didn't crash, but it was very, very overloaded
ok, just saw it's a known bug. you can ignore this now lmao
Sooo, you just made a Celeste clone...
