I think it's really because the model (as in the game model of Future Gohan) would seem to be considered Incomplete, and not be able to be used, so, they gave him the other arm, and just have him not use it in just about all of his moves.
Ah, I see. Still, it would be nice to have one-armed Future Gohan in later games. In BT3, it's weird because he has barely ANY voice clips (especially as an SSJ he is virtually silent), but in Japanese he has a full vocal set. Maybe next time they'll actually have Kyle Hubert (voice of Adult Gohan for Funimation dub) decide to record. Future Gohan was always my favorite version of Gohan.
pefect example of a move like that: Sadistic 18, Android #18's ultimate, the kick that she uses (the same one that destroyed Vegeta's arm in the show) she kicks the Left arm.
He does get the Ultimate form in DBZ Shin Budokai-Another Road along with SSJ2 form, as a what-if. I haven't seen an image of Ultimate Future Gohan, but SSJ2 Future Gohan looks pretty cool.
@XDarkAlphaZ13 Actually it's because programming a one-armed character would cause MASSIVE glitching. What's weird is that DBZ Sagas had Future Gohan as a playable character, but he had one arm. How they managed to pull that off is beyond me (and Sagas had a LOT of glitches anyway), so I don't think "gory" is a factor. Maybe the creators of RB2 should've consulted the programmers from Sagas to successfully create a one-armed Future Gohan.
Yeah I knew he was supposed to replace Goku (actually Dragonball Z was supposed to end at the Cell Games), but like you said (I believe Akira mentioned this too) Gohan just didn't seem to fit the role, even as Ultimate. I did like the SSJ2 Adult Gohan vs Broly fight in Broly: Second Coming, seeing as he lost some of his goofy demeanor, and even managed to hurt Broly (a knee to the face knocked him back) when 2 FPSSJ (Goku & Gohan), 2 ASSJ (Vegeta & Trunks), and a Super Namek (Piccolo) couldn't.
lol. But you have to admit, Ultimate Gohan and SSJ2 Young Gohan kicked ass too. Actually, my only complaint with Adult Gohan was the whole "He slacked off and lost most of his fighting skill" plot device. Ugh.
My favorite gohan is future gohan.
I won't lie...gohans intercept counter makes me feel superior in battle.

U have to respect Mirai Gohan took on 2 androids with 1 hand learned teniques with 1 hand and died a champion

Boy do I have some news for you
Damn he learned Piccolo's technique!?
You mean besides the Masenko?
well, it would look odd when some characters grab his arm that is missing... it's only there because some characters grab the left arm in throws etc.
He uses both of his arms in this game but in Xenoverse 2 he fights as though his left arm is broken.

Raging Blast is the true successor to the Budokai Tenkaichi series. NOT Ultimate Tenkaichi.
1:47 i can't find any sort of scene in the series where future gohan performs the one handed kamehameha
Philosofic Lion The History Of Trunks when he's fighting the androids by himself (He dies sadly :(
Philosofic Lion Future gohan actually lost one of his arms against the androids, so it makes sense than he does things one-handedly
And also the 1 handed kamehameha is WAY cooler in my book. I mean seriously, i think one handed versions of energy attacks look cool.
He does get the Ultimate form in DBZ Shin Budokai-Another Road along with SSJ2 form, as a what-if. I haven't seen an image of Ultimate Future Gohan, but SSJ2 Future Gohan looks pretty cool.
piccolo teach him how to use it and future gohan teach future trunks how to use masenko
Ft.Gohan Greatness : )

Hes like, I can take you with one arm expression.
I hate how they give him two arms but have him not use one. Just let us play as Future Gohan with both of his arms.
Bryan Jacobs yeah honestly
I think the reason they do that is because in Japan it is against there rating system to have limbs be removed.
Bryan Jacobs I the only DBZ game to give Gohan one arm is Sagas
@@infamousking1013 really? that's crazy if that's true. is that why every rendition of the raditz scene piccolo has his arm too?
But he can lose his arm in the game if he is at low hp
his mentor was piccolo remember

he's my favorate character because is evil barrier block anything even super attacks and ultimates
My main
Parents might freak out that Future Gohan in the future became an amputee.
@Queer10123 I think because they never show him fighting 17 and 18 with both arms
i dunno what they were thinking by oly letting him use one arm, oh well he's stil my best character
@XDarkAlphaZ13 yeah but since he has both arms in the games he should use both, that's all i'm saying
"Try this!"

Slacking off genuinely has that effect on people. That and Gohan isn't a fighter like his dad.
@@Sungura_Kaiser People tend to forget this about Gohan; He was never a true fighter at heart.
Senko Ki Blast?
@XDarkAlphaZ13 then why did they show tiens arm get cit off in kai...wait nevermind
Future Gohan uses one arm for everything
Hyper masako versus kamehameha
They just put the same ultimate as in Tenkaichi 3 these poor bastards ...
@Queer10123 We're all confused >__
How do future gohan know the super kamehameha attack ?
SSGSS Vegeta do a powered up kamehameha that's it
as does the intercepted?
wait.. at 1:05 did he say Final?.. like Final Flash??
final aahhhhh
