    I'm all carnivore since Feb 25th, so since about 5 months.
    I also had keto flu for 2 weeks, even though I lived sugar free for 4 decades and didn't have any "light" products for 33 years. Drinking lots of mineral water and eating up to 10 chicken eggs per day, helped me get rid of the keto flu that I had because of the vegetables I ate prior to going carnivore.
    Eating my self made fresh bone broth is my daily medicine, which I recommend to those with major gut issues. I got rid of gastritis, irretable gut syndrome, leaky gut syndrome, chronic diarrhea, acid reflux, constant bloating and cramping within only 14 days when going all carnivore.
    I also get immensely tired after meals. So I just eat my bone broth to break my intermittent fasting, which nourishes me quite well. Before starting my intermittent fasting again, I have my meat and butter, so I can go to sleep after my meal.
    In May, I started to do some functional training daily and in June I started with some light resistance training and Pilates every other day. But I recently signed up in a gym and now do more resistance training there, together with a special coach. In September I'm starting with weekly sauna.

    Goodmorning Dr. Chaffee. I told my nephew in Tennessee about you. He is a new body builder and they didn't know about the Carnivore diet. I watched Dr. Berry and Neisha last night and then Dr. Boz. Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything that you are teaching. You guys are saving people's lives definitely. I went from to 220 lbs to 165 lbs. Waist line from 36 " back to my normal 32 " prior to the beer and carbs that I consumed back then. I quit drinking 14 years ago and quit smoking over 20 years ago. I no longer have high blood pressure, but I have calcium in my Coronary arteries and I had a 3 mm nodule in my lower left lung. We couldn't see it in several xrays a year later but, my calcium score went up slightly. So, I am trying to reverse plaque and I have cut out all sugar, carbs, starches, seed oils, vegetable oils etc and I keep it simple with Beef, Bacon, fresh dairy butter , Ghee lard or tallow. I am learning as I go along.I have sardines for snacks and pig skins fried in pork fat, black coffee with Cayenne pepper drops in it for Nitric oxide. I also take several supplements. Will stress and coffee contribute to heart disease. I would imagine that it does but, I'm not sure. Anyway Dr. Chaffee. I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay safe .

    Supper strange that some people have low energy on lion diet… I feel sometimes that I can go through the walls and I’m 61! So, isn’t there something like medications… ? When I started Keto before going full blown carnivore a year ago, I was still on my bp meds. And THAT made me dizzy and I had no energy. So, common sense conclusion was to stop taking those meds, what I did and all symptoms went away.

    Double wammy, milk----ichy welts on hands. 2y 4m of hamburger, Amish eggs, clean butter, (it is really hard to convince a butcher to make 60% fat burger) Quit alcohol 23 yrs ago. Living in a home still full of every nightmare (so-called) food You can imagine. I would not be alive today if----My record was 12 clean days in a row,,,at this point. (so I said to myself) I never went without my 40 yr habit of a pot or two of coffee with whole milk a day. I cut the sugar and doubled the milk. To The Point____3 wks ago, something clicked, quit coffee and milk cold turkey!!!! The burning joints went away. YEY but I thought I had poison oak at my waste line. it went up my front, bad on my shoulders, then down my back. Now I have six spots on my feet. Can't think ichy....The 40 plus yrs of poison has to come out one way or another. Finally, I am over the hump and looking forward to 90 days to new skin.

    If the person who asked about the itchy fluid filled pimple like bumps on hands happens to see this, I do believe those are a form of eczema. I have been getting those on my hands and toes since childhood, and that is the answer my research came to. A dermatologist should be able to confirm or deny that.

      I have had eczema since infancy, when I was in high school that happened to me once. They were all over my hands, can’t remember what I did to get rid of them. Maybe I did what I used to do with regular break outs, put my Halcinonide cream on the out break then wrapped plastic wrap on the affected areas.

    I am about a month in to not eating plants.
    Not losing any strength, I lift in the 8-11rep range to failure over 4 sets. Different exercise daily. Gaining a bit of strength actually.
    Had an odd head cold that started a week ago and been blowing out significant congestion ever since. Fever was only on the 1st day of all of this.
    Oddly it feels like what happens to me twice a year right about a month after the season really changes. I'm in Canada.
    I do wonder if these "sick" times is the body dumping cells that it sees no use for based on most recent conditions it is comprehending.
    One other thing. Noticing that as I am falling to sleep I am getting twitching. Sometimes only 5 mins apart, some part of me will involuntarily twitch enough to bring me back awake. This can persist for an hour.
    I have already been taking Key Nutrients brand electrolytes capsules and magnesium bisglycinate daily.
    Anyone else get this a month in?

    • @CarnivoreGator
      @CarnivoreGator 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Caffeine is a difficult thing for me to stop. I did for 3 months when I first discovered that I have ADHD last summer...at age 61. It was kind of nice because I didn't wake up to go to the restroom at night after I quit .I am thinking about quitting again. If I thought it contributed to heart disease I would definitely quit. I also wonder if testosterone cypionate injections contribute to heart disease. I have heard that it does and that it doesn't. I dunno for sure .

    Dr Chaffee I hope I can still ask a question please, I’m in Australia and I had blood work done 18months ago and again a few weeks ago, now my kidney function has gone down and my Creatinine has gone up, eGFR was 75 now 32 creatinine was 73 now 148, my Dr is freaking out and tells me my kidneys are failing and I’m beside myself, I’ve been carnivore for 2yrs my cholesterol is high 10, I had a Doppler done and my arteries have less then 15% plaque so I’m not concerned about that anymore but I don’t know what to do about the kidney function have you any advice for me. Regards Lynda

    • @anthonychaffeemd
      @anthonychaffeemd  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      2 recommendations, apart from continuing to work with your doctor: Drink a lot more water, and check your cystatin C levels, as they are a market of your kidney function that isn't influenced by protein consumption. You can also try increasing your fat intake as well, on the place of some of the lean meat you are eating. Carnivore won't damage your kidneys if you're eating enough fat, but dehydration can, and creatinine can become elevated with high protein, even if your overall lower function is perfect

I am tired on many days (not even the whole day, though), and sometimes have issues breathing (some kind of stuffiness below my throat), which may happen a few times a day or not at all for a week. I've worked from home for a few years now, and there is some fungus on my walls/ceiling.

      It certainly affects memory. Watch Paul Mason's videos on cholesterol. Statins also increase chance of getting type 2 diabeties. Look at the side effects on their own website. A dangerous drug. People with the highest LDL live the longest. I would never take a statin.
