@@nickdual Hi, I think you may be looking at Chinese products through tinted glasses. I think you might need to check the various items in your home to see how many are made in China.
Wanted to buy an MKE600, got the Comica VM40 instead now. Been running an OG Rode VideoMic for a couple of years. Time for an upgrade. :) Thanks for the video!
This is a mic I actually need and will buy. I have been doing a lot of street style on the fly interviews for clients lately, and I've had to hand people a Rode NTG 2 or Sennheiser shotgun mic with a Tascam DR10L audio recorder attached. The audio quality from those are both incredible, but I hate having a cable that can easily get unplugged by whoever is holding it. This mic will solve that problem for me right away by being wireless and it won't be so bulky looking. I'm so glad these brands are innovating useful tools for us filmmakers /creatives.
It's very cool that you always sign in the description what kind of equipment you used, + additionally lenses and specifically what was shot with what is very cool
Notice every video is a product (commercial). Most creatives watching this video have a hard time creating consistency. Shiny new objects releases dopamine. Thinking another piece of gear will solve their motivational problems of taking consistent action. If creators truly cared about their audience, they will know their audience pain points, and touch those. To get them to where they truly desire! To be a consistent creator like the one’s they’re watching. All these do is just feed our consumer mindset, not producer mindset. All that to say, Ryan videos are dope. One of the dopess creators out there. And I get it, you gotta feed the fam.
@@oxtrends835 If I made a commercial, you would know it. I made a review testing cheap filmmaking gear to see if they could work for people with small budgets & they work fine! They decided to promote it. Don’t try to play me after all I’ve done for my community and probably you too. Wildly ungrateful & disrespectful. It’s no different from when I tried using dollar tree items to make video effects. It’s called fun & creative projects!
@@oxtrends835 That’s actually helpful for the community tbh! Giving creatives more low cost options to get results without breaking the bank is a good look!
Yeah I been know about this brand on Amazon for over 2 or 3 years now before this mic was released (I use the Vm30 Shotgun Mic) Shoutout to Daniel Hill we both use this mic (sometimes lol) But mainly I use a Audio Technical Shotgun Mic to 2 pin XLR on my Z Cam E2-M4 Shoutout to Z Cam (Real Cinema Camera that no-one knows about + Its really Cheap + love my little Z Cam E2-M4 (Over $18k on accessories and equipment)
For as close as it was vs the quality of audio I was hearing, I'm not to sure about this one. That could have been input levels from your camera, preamps in the camera and/or the receiver. May have to ask to check this out myself. Great vid man it does bring insight. Just not too sure of the price to quality of sound rn.
There are two packages. A so called single channel, and a dual-channel where there are two microphones in the package. Are the single-channel still compatible for dual-channel?
Shouldn't you announce that this video is sponsored by Comica IN THE VIDEO instead of in the description, where some people will never look? Being transparent and honest with your audience about sponsorship should be the standard.
@@thesavagefilmmaker I always announce that a video is sponsored if it is, you’re absolutely right though I simply forgot to say it in this video though. What mic are you most using right now?
Lately I've been using the Sennheiser MKE600 the most. But this Comica mic solves a problem for me so I'm buying it!
Chinese products good?

I appreciate that! This video was simply to let people know it exists & it’s a new mic on the market.
He lost me after Temu 😄(commercials). Advertising low quality terrible temu products to his followers

Would you recommend multiple of these (probably 4) in a podcast scenario?

This is a must-have for me!
It's impressive!
for $250 the quality is wild! I'm using the Sennheiser MKE 600 and Rode Wireless Pro and you're getting similar performance to that $700+ setup
Yup I need it!

@@tonypmedia to my knowledge, it works great. I also did no processing in editing to any of the audio. I personally think it sounds great!
You shouldn't compare it with in camera mics. You should compare it to other shotguns. That being said I own the VM30 and it's good.
I get it but I'm also making this video for people who may not have a mic at all. If you have the VM30, I'm sure that mic is great as well!

Going to buy this right now cause the RODE wone was in My cart I cant lie
Haven’t checked out the Rode one but this one is great + wireless is just clutch!
How long until rode or deity comes in and copies this mic
What does the dual channel feature do please?
Why is nobody taking about the 32 bit float? That's the best feature. No need to set levels ever again!!!!
Rah! Now this is dope!!
Just brought the vm30 still
In packaging and all but been over 30 days 😭😭😭
Came here from IG!
I just got a Lav Mic from Hollyland but that Comica sure sounds crisp!
Ran here from IG 🙏
Bruhhhhh I just bought the VM30 version like 3 weeks ago 🤦🏾♂️
Nahhh, return & re-scoop this! Haha
Why is it not on eBay except Amazon?
Fire
Wow Ryan is cute ❤❤
Good stuff man 🤘

Lacks of bass, compaired to a Sennheiser mke 600
