just bought mine! I am telling all my buddies that are putting together a home gym that this is a NO BRAINER! rogue quality for ritfit prices. It's actually insane.
Have had this rack for almost a year. Added the lat pulldown attachment and the 150 # weight stack. The combination is unbeatable! Super sturdy, chest day is a breeze with the monolift arms. Love doing my declines in this thing!
I owned a GPR400 for over 2 years, very happy with it. And i agree that there is a strange silence when it comes to Body-Solid in social media. This rack is short(er), and that makes it perfect for low ceiling places. The only thing that might be problematic is jammer arms, because of the hight.
I find the lack of social media coverage odd as well! Trying to get popular fitness influencers to review their stuff by leaving comments on their videos
@@BodySolidFit Got it all setup and did my first chest day with it yesterday. Absolutely loving it! Got the GLEG and cable attachment for it. Super high quality, very well designed. I'll be spreading the good word! Thanks for the great product! Just ordered the landmine attachment and weight tree today.
Can you please tell me the width of the barbell that i would need? i see that its pretty wide, I struggle to find such a wide barbell. It says its 132cm width and usually what i find is around 130cm width inner dimensions barbells. Which is obviously too short. If its not too hard could you measure from frame to frame?
@@mactivityproductions211 I got the cable pulleys and you can also add weights to it. Love it so far! Been using it since I got it and I am just glad to be working out again from the comfort of my home 🙌
Thanks for this review. With the great specs i just dont understand why i cant find more info on the GPR400. Do you happen to know whats the inside between posts depth and width?
I'm thinking of buying this as a combo deal. A company is offering the GPR400 with the functional trainer, 500 lbs. of plates and bench for around 2400. Does anyone have any experience with the functional trainer? They show it on their site without the weight stack and just using plates.
ive had this in my cart on amazon for a bit..but scared to pull the trigger because its so short. im right at 6 2" and unsure if its tall enough for squats. I know its not for standing military presses inside, but i dont do those much anyways, i sit down..
Why does Body Solid not have videos on their equipment as you said? Those safeties have to go, they suck but a 3x3 rack for under $900 shows how much mark up Rogue, REP, etc. puts on their equipment!!!!!!!!!
Just seeing this now but wanted to point out we have and had several videos for the GPR400 for anyone looking for more information on it: Product overview: th-cam.com/video/ANA5Kc0WoVY/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUGR1BSNDAw Another product overview: th-cam.com/video/jGLs-zjSxhA/w-d-xo.html Overview of attachments: th-cam.com/video/giOKhzHgDrI/w-d-xo.html Focus on just the lat attachment: th-cam.com/video/vtVIQAalKtk/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the love!! We're really proud of the GPR400 and appreciate anything that helps get the word out.
This is one badass rack!
You guys need to get your (I assume they’re official) rep here in Hungary to stock these.
They ‘have’ the old grey model (out of stock)

Looking to stock my performance center with 3-4 of these racks. Love the price point. Thanks for the review.
Hit us up!
I ended up getting two racks. Very satisfied! I would like to get two multi-grip attachments if available and weight horn attachments.
Just purchased this with the pulley system as well. Super stoked!
Awesome!!
how do you like this rack & did you get plate loaded or weight stack pulleys?

body solid is only lesser known today. Years ago it was the rogue of the fitness world.
We've been around for 35 years and counting! Not going anywhere!

I actually love the safeties and the additional pin safety feature, but yes I agree about markups it's insane
