I ride a Honda Wave in Vietnam, you can buy 3 for the price of a Super Cub; has underseat storage, carry a passenger, with little work can do 120kph all day.
I had a Cub 70 in the 1970s. It was all about fuel mileage after the Arab oil embargo. It was a good commuter on city streets but it was difficult to get to work without going on the Interstate and the 70cc engine had a hard time maintaining 40 mph uphill. I had to take a convoluted route through residential neighborhoods. One foggy day I got hopelessly lost. I traded for a 250 dual sport.
The Cub, imo is 25cc short of perfection. I've been behind these on state highways and they cannot maintain 60mph with normal sized rider. Running at 55mph will line up the vehicles behind you. A shame as I'd be in the market for a one.
yeah. Went to start my adv150 and it wouldn't battery was dead, now imagine that happening while you are on a ride. Then the supercub did the same, except i think i hit the anti theft button and it wouldn't start. The pcx150 keyed ignition, never messed around it just works. and oh yeah my ducati diavel keyless is dead.

How much mpg did you get on the 70? Which 250 did you end up buyng?
@motardsquid I don't remember how much fuel mileage for the Cub 70 but it was a long way. I got a Suzuki 250 Savage.
did you get the ignition pass number ?
What is that?
Nice one

yeah the honda 150's are better. the pcx is definately a work horse. It seems 150 is the goldilocks of bikes for me
@@motardsquid Agreed, perhaps in the future. Is the PCX Air or liquid cooled?
@@lorimcquinn3966 the pcx is liquid cooled. The supercub is aircooled, i haven't had air cooled bike in a while.
@@motardsquid Thanks for the info.
the keyless FOB is such a turn off.

I love these especially for deliveries. We don't have them in Canada.
Schrecklich, wie kann man nur solch eine komische Maschine kaufen? Unpraktisch und leistungsschwach!!!
Du bist es wahrscheinlich nie gefahren😂
