- Last of the series, Richard Lewis, Whitemill, doing a couple of fields in Carmarthenshire. John Deere 6930 tractor with McHale Fusion 2 Baler/Wrapper. The New Holland with Claas 2900 is still raking in the field when it starts. Sun still shining, flies coming out to bite if you stand still too long!
Love the old ones Al❤
Thanks Andrew - there's plenty there going back a bit!
Thanks George - must go and look!
Nice one Alan..

Yes indeed. You have a reputation to maintain . . what about three Fusions in a row? Now, a rolling bale would be good - we saw one in Scotland in neighbour's field, which rolled down the field, through the hedge/wall and down the next field towards the road. Unfortunately it didn't make it to the road!!! . . . . Alan

It was a chunky swathe alright. Much better than when we had to crawl under each time and replace a shear-bolt!

Yes, that's him. Nice guy. We had a chat later when I thought a saw a ewe fast in the hedge (but it was just curious, maybe a tractor-spotter!) . . . Alan

Thanks Aled. I didn't comment on your latest upload as it wasn't really my sort of thing. . . Alan
Hi because the bale is wrapped with two layers of plastic film, the outer layer uses less plastic but the cost to wrap a bale is about the same. In the video. I did ask the guy from McHale but didn't catch the answer due to Irish accent.
Alan another cracking video, I have just filmed a McHale Fusion 3 Plus the latest Baler Wrapper from the Irish Firm & a Fusion 2 at the same time. (NO MUSIC) gtritchie5

I have no idea. Large swathe of grass? Stone in the row? Pheasant, come to that? Run out of wrap or netting? Take your choice. It was soon going again . . .
Thanks George - didn't know that. Does that mean it uses more plastic, though?
he's getting block a good few times? Swath might be to big for baler to handle? The drop floor on the baler is great for passing the blockage through though.
I never can understand throwing two rays of silage into one as it cripples the baler and still requires an extra worker and tractor.

Could be. It's not unheard of . . . .

going to show us some at work stuff, then?
What's a Plus got that a minus hasn't?
As far as I know the first Fusion 3 Plus in the UK?
@balmesh LOL No worries..
great video alan-is that the farmer on the quad?
McHale 3 Plus uses plastic instead of net wrap which means you have 2 layers of plastic film,(better bales) & much easier to recycle.
