Ultralight Fishing | Bedok Jetty Fishing | Sagai Season Fishing

Welcome back to yet another round of Sagai Season fishing at Bedok Jetty. This year, we came prepared with better setup and stronger line poundage to catch the elusive Longfin & Longrakered Trevallies of Bedok Jetty. Our last year Sagai experience was a total frenzy. Sagai smashing our rubbers once they start sinking. This year on the other hand is a very different story. This year Sagai’s are very finicky and hard to entice. However, using smaller or shorter rubbers prove to be effective for this fussy Pelagic.

Great video! Subbed and ordered a few packs of salty bites too, can't wait to use em soon. I'm new to UL fishing and couldn't find much info online about ajing. What's the difference between ajing and UL rods?

Hi there, thank you so much for the support. There are special Ajing rods our there preferably (Solid Tip) for better sensitivity and to really feel the minute bites of fishes. Rating of this rods are also very low (0.2 - 3g). Its not only about the rod. Reel, line, rubbers etc. Also plays a part on the term of "Ajing". For UL rods wise are at much higher rating but at max of 6lb.

Its a fused line. To be honest its not really a good sinking line when brand new. You must season it a little to achieve a better sink rate.
