Looking great , with that tree you planted should of taken a small hand garden rake and broke open the bottom that would of helped your tree grow properly.
Looking good. One bit of advice, though? You may have wanted to tease out the roots on the tree before filling in the whole. Hopefully, it won't be too bad.
Just saw your first video of making French cleats for your tools and watched 10 other videos you have done, you do amazing work so knowledgeable for a young man Keep up the great work Cheers from Toronto Canada
The dirt “bowl” to water the avocado tree is the best!! Deep watering every week or two is MUCH better for the tree than frequent shallow watering ... minus the doggy, of course ;)
I have loved watching you guys fix up your new house, and it is looking great! As a person with degrees in landscape architecture and horticulture though, I have a couple concerns and suggestions. With the evergreens by the sprinkler valves, did the trencher go through roots? I don't quite know what those trees are or what their root system is like (midwesterner here) but it seemed pretty close to the trees. I would keep an eye on them just in case. With the mulch around the fruit trees, I would just make sure to pull it back from the trunk a couple inches. Mulch will hold moisture up against the trunk inviting pests and disease into the tree which wouldn't be good, haha. Also having a perfectionistic personality I love a ll the hard work you are putting in to get the final grade as smooth as possible. Whenever you use a roller you should also be sure to aerate the lawn after it has established itself, so maybe next year to keep it healthy and looking good after all the work you've put in! Wow, sorry for such a long post, I look forward to seeing the final product!
I was also concerned about rubber mulch being use near trees too. While rubber mulch is easy to install and last for years, (my dad has it at his house for the playgroud for the grand kids and it's great... just gets hot during the summer) it could inspiring
I was also concerned about rubber mulch being use near trees too. While rubber mulch is easy to install and last for years (my dad has it at his house for the playground for the grand kids and it's great... just gets hot during the summer), it could harm your tree and you. As the rubber breaks down over time, the rubber adds toxins into the soil which the tree and it's fruit may absorb. Be safe. Overall, great job on the home improvements. Love watch your channel and your laid back calm demeaner. Thanks for the sharing your creativity and inspiration.
He looks so to just digging around in that water and your corgo look so cute chasing the tennis ball... like he was saying play wiss me human noffing else importan... ruff ruff
Love everything you do Ben but I'm afraid to say that big dog is going to rip up your good work! Been there done it bought the tee shirt . (Probably when I was about your age.) Man I love the things you do though. Just about finished my garden in England after 20 years...wish we had your beautiful weather. Cheers Toby.
hi ben sorry im late to watch anyway u live in southern california right? if so you probably no of the restaurant Rubios, a southern california restaurant anyway when you said "we have an avocado tree and an orange tree, how much more california can we get" i was thinking get a Rubios fish taco tree and a cheero tree well your at it! thanks good job looking forward to Saturday !! bye (0u0)
theres nothing about rubber mulch that sounds like a good idea esp under a tree that you plan on eating the fruit from. playgrounds are where I see rubber mulch, not around things to be eaten
At the end he wanted to lay down in the cool mud but couldn't get enough water out. You should think about installing a small wade pond that is automatically fed when it gets to 6" deep it stops. I guarantee you have the knowledge and grit to complete that task.
Yeah, you have a higher chance of a good crop with two. But it depends on the area. Some places are more ideal than others for self pollination. I'm not sure about California...
Yes that is true because there are A and B avo trees. Luckily, in my situation, there are a bunch of trees nearby. So I can assume it will be able to cross pollinate with a neighboring tree instead of having to get a second one

Love your two furry, mischievous “technical difficulties “
I wish I had your energy young man. I always love how you show the mischief that the dogs always seem to get in at the end of the videos
Looking good. One bit of advice, though? You may have wanted to tease out the roots on the tree before filling in the whole. Hopefully, it won't be too bad.
You're work is meticulous! Great job 👍👏👏👏
Ben you are a workhorse, I love your videos....Thank you
You have the best “technical difficulties" and awesome "quality control supervisors"!!
Just saw your first video of making French cleats for your tools and watched 10 other videos you have done, you do amazing work so knowledgeable for a young man Keep up the great work Cheers from Toronto Canada
Oh my gosh! You have done so much work! But it was interesting, fun and a pleasure watching you - er, the process I mean. Yep. Definitely the process.
😂
5:27 u never broke up the soil on the tree, that is key so the roots will grow properly.
Ben, you make this all look so easy 😁👌. Excellent work
Lol, he does!!!!
Keep up the awesome work! Everything is coming out amazing.
Your vids are awesome! Man, u are such a hard worker, it's inspiring. Keep it up!

Id love it so much to be ablet to grow oranges in my own backyard. To bad i live in the Netherlands where it is just waayyyy to cold for oranges.
“Heavy rain” in the la area, oh thats a good joke

You scummy teaser 😉, was hopping to see it done. But mate is looking really great, you are a star.
yay!!
did you get the rubber mulch from home depot?
wouldn't the rubber molsh (around the trees) be bad fnr the tree and smell bad in the heat
Hahhaha the dogs....mine do the same
How do you keep those puppers clean?!
theres nothing about rubber mulch that sounds like a good idea esp under a tree that you plan on eating the fruit from.

09:31 Best party
can you make a video of just dog bloopers?
I liked your technical difficulties😂
You should’ve loosened the root ball of the avocado tree
Dirt loads what location is that?
Is it just me or does the wall behind the tangerine tree make it look like an ocean backdrop?
9:19 I see you have a helper how much you pay him he’s like the inspector
I’ll pay you to upload daily.

You should clear about a foot up each tree of the limbs
I think he can smell the pee scent from the old tires
Most of the technical difficulties are made from your puppies
3:19 Shîtty spot
My dad is a landscaper and ur doing this wrong
Nice video. FYI If my research is accurate, avocado trees are recommended to be planted in pairs for flowering and pollination.
