A TH-camr made a video called The Wasted Potential of God of War Ragnarok, and as a God of War fan I wanted to hear the criticism of Ragnarock from somebody who didn't love it... we didn't agree lol.

I have a lot more issues with ragnarok than most people, but the strongest point of this game is the characters this dude was actually just yapping with little substance
I'm gonna assume that he loves Heimdall so much because he's basically the Norse Era's Hermes, existing to piss you off so that killing him feels more satisfying. However, the major difference is that you DON'T want Kratos to kill Heimdall because of the regression that it represents and the other inherent consequences of killing him, but of course this guy doesn't care about any of that. To him, it's like being right back in GoW 3 killing annoying Gods.
Idk, it's hard for me to respect someone's opinions on a matter they genuinely don't appear to understand.

Seeing that one of dudes videos is called "I miss edgy games" I feel he just wanted a chance to bash on Ragnarok like how the trend is for every story driven games
They should have made the final war longer.... thats it lol
I think people were missing the one big issue that sparked Kratos vs Atreus. Faye. The mural at the end of the last game made Atreus just blindly trust Faye and what he saw. He believes it will all just work out. Kratos actually saw his supposed death in the mural, so by ragnarok he's thinking.."Did she actually care? Are the boy and I just a means of revenge for Fayes' people? Can we trust her?

Its mainly Subjective view points
Its only when it comes to peoples unique experiences is where that word holds it's meaning people forget this sometimes
Like for an Example.
Let's say I hate GOW as a series and give a detailed reason why i do. But no logical excuse anyone can make is saying what i said is indeed true. When we all know it's not. It's my opinion It's subjective.
But what is an objective fact/truth is the game solid well, but opinions from a majority help dictate that games value to a company or its standing within the culture. Its popular it sold well its loved by many.
THAT is a objective fact regardless of who or why X person thinks of it differently from Y did.
Ragnarok war didn't take that long. Kratos leads an army from the nine realms after prepping for war, and ends it in maybe an hour. Also, original Kratos fought alone, and brought down Olympus in a single day..... Some conflicts, depending on the circumstances can be ended more quickly than others.

Omega has gotten so articulate with the way he says his opinions. That's crazy.
See its videos like this where not all criticism is good criticism. People just be yapping on and on to end up saying anything substantial.
My issues with Ragnarok was mostly just the boss fights like other than the first Thor fight everything else wasn't anything crazy specially for how they gas up some of the antagonist

All I'm hearing from this dude yapping is that he like many others thinks GOW as a series is at its best when its more like how it used to be and only that way which Is a tired rebuttal for hating on the Norse games. Its like this crowd cant Understand Nuance or how Kratos as a character has always been deep since the OGs and current Kratos processing all that pain is a sign a series and character can grow with time in dramatic ways
