The reason people don't receive MEGain well is because she a a liar, a fake, a hypocrite and she uses dead children, people etc for her own PR selfish reason and she tries to destroy her husband's family and being a tremendous bully. Also she uses people, abuses them and discards them, this is why we don't like her. It has nothing to do with her acting sweet or just inappropriate. She is evil.
She might dress inappropriately as a way of standing out in the crowd, in the same way the late Queen wore bright colors to stand out But the Queen was the Queen and looked appropriate even in her bright colors. M looks trashy and classless. Not the path to fashion icon.
I will never understand that! Like don't you want to look your BEST on your wedding day?! If I was in her shoes and had all these ppl at my disposal I would've been like "WORK YOUR MAGIC FAIRY GODMOTHER!!" and let the EXPERTS have their way with me!
@drinkyournailpolish7501 this! On my wedding day, I wore my mom's wedding dress. I lucked out, big time, it fit. Mom had told me years ago, long before either of her daughters got married, that she didn't think my sister could wear her dress. She specifically mentioned my sister's shoulders. She was NOT body shaming. My sister has broader shoulders than I do, my own daughter has broader shoulders than me. I fit into the dress, and the employee at the tailor shop told us that we were so lucky that we didn't have to get the shoulders reworked. Mostly because we would have to replace a lot of the lace on the dress. The dress is from 1970 and completely covered in lace. The train flowed from the shoulders.
She doesn't have a consistent style-her choices are all over the place. She chooses according to cost, higher cost=better, regardless whether it fits or suits her. Catherine is sometimes derided for playing safe, because she sticks to coat dresses or pants suits, but she dresses appropriately and she knows exactly what suits her build and colour. You can't be an icon if you don't have a recognisable style.
M is like a teenager who's drawn in by whatever looks good on the hanger or a model and has no sense of what works for her Catherine's approach is that of a grown woman who knows what works for her and goes with that.
Catherine also dresses according to the occasion, she has a lot of official duties, and she keeps an eye on what is appropriate to her audience. This is why her style is so striking, because it includes the people she visits. It's a kind of "psychological" dressing.
@@soniavadnjal7553 Exactly. She knows that these engagements are not her runway. Nor does she need the adolation and attention for clothes. To put it blunt, she's rich, of course she wears nice clothes. Not to disparage her, just ... being dressed well with the kind of resources she has at her disposal (and that's okay) is not some mystical feat.
@@elizabethsheffield6609 I agree, I've always thought this was her worst outfit ever, the brown shorts and crumpled white blouse a close second. She always looks like she needs a good wash , brush her hair properly and iron her clothes. Her posture is also really bad.
Some of the outfits she wore and her general unkempt appearance on official duties were shocking when she had every styling and dressing resource available to her.
@@elizabethmoini2902 Narcissist cannot really be treated. For one, they never admits that they do have a problem. They will always find something or someone they blamed for whatever went wrong. Secondly they are masters at manipulating and gaslighting. They end up doing exactly that with the therapist or psychologist. That is exactly what we see with her. As in psychology terms, she is very good in finding and using flying monkeys.
I was told to dress for success. That woman does the opposite. For a woman in her 40's that doesn't know her body enough to dress is ridiculous, then to have that much money and not get a stylist? There is no excuse.
What is funny is that in an interview before joining the royal family, Meghan went on and on about the importance of dressing for your body type, knowing what works for you, etc.. What a hypocrite she was.
Omg YES!!! Megsie would have been outed and dragged by our darling Joan. But perhaps it's nice that dear Joan was spared the awful horrorshow that is H & M.😊❤
As a boomer, I remember Mr. Blackwell, who predated Joan Rivers, and his Ten Best and Ten Worst lists. The Meg could have made his Ten Worst list by herself.
The magazine article goes like, 'buy the exact dress M wore fir her birthday.....'. Why would I on this earth be interested in doing that while being in my right mind? Anyone for that matter. WHY? 😀
Speaking of which...I'm a goth and I'm a sucker for black and white striped clothing. I could totally wear that dress with wild, bejewled heavy black earrings and green eyeshadow. Super black cat eyeliner. Platform black strapped sandals. I have a pair from Steve Madden. Black, chunky lug soles, with wide straps. Beetlejuice inspired. I love that movie. Meghan has zero style, zero personality.
That's a thing I can't stand with Meghan. She can afford all the resources in the world, so she has no excuse to wear ill fitting clothing. It's honestly frustrating to see
I don't buy magazines any more. Most mags have lost the way. I now watch more on YT and I can make my own mind up rather than be forced feed. A great analysis and sums up what is going on in fashion. Keep going.
Sometimes I see an outfit and hate it, but hear nothing but good and think "am I missing something? How can that be so liked?" You make sense and I'll trust myself more.
I can totally resonate with those thoughts😂😂. I would see her online, even before she married Harry and i was amazed at how the press were saying how great she looked, I just never got it! I was started to think that I was just being mean 😂
These days money talks as well. In many cases a magazine is dependent on its revenue. Fashion houses may sponsor a certain celeb and the mag get paid to help promote what that person is wearimg. Especially Vogue is mot what it always was. The editors are imprinting their own style on the megazine whether it is good or not.
I use to love the Dos and Don'ts section in fashion magazines. I agree, too many people no longer care how they look or if their clothes are appropriate for the occasion. My mom told me my grandmother said even during the depression people tried to look nice when they left their homes.
Not only nice but clean and ironed. My mother never hesitated to tell me when something was not for me or unsuitable for the occasion. Thank you Mum ❤️
I think it comes from allowing children to make their owm choices much too soon when they actually needs to be guided. When I look at young teens and how insppropriately and shamelessly they are dressed, I always wonder where are the parents? Don't they not teach them to be proud of themselves and how they look anymore?
To your point: There are photos of women standing in line for food or something else right after the San Francisco earthquake and fire of 1906. Every woman is fully dressed in what appears to be Sunday Best and wearing a hat.
My daughter was looking at photos of my parents from late thirties/early forties and said "they always look elegant " even when they were being tourists
I think her unkempt hair and clothes were a ‘dig*’ at the queen. HM required that anyone representing the monarchy to be immaculately styled& groomed at all times in the public. Megan did this on purpose to prove to the Queen that no one could tell her what to do. This mentality backfired big time and Megan couldn’t find a way to undo the damage she had caused making everyone loathe her. IMO
I stopped reading magazines in the early 00s when i distinctly remember one headline touting Nicole Richie's "healthy new curves" aftwr her bout with an ed and she was still EMACIATED. Like WHAT IS THIS GASLIGHTING?!?!
I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only woman who will never buy anything Meghan Markle wears or advocates. You are making good and important points in this, Beebs! And you look fabulous today~
Like M and probably 99% of the population, I am blessed with a difficult body type. None of what M wears would look good on me so I'd never buy it. I also don't find myself at galas or awards' shows so have no need for ball gowns. She could have been a voice for people (not just women) without a supermodel silhouette by supporting healthy lifestyles (food, exercise, etc) and that all people can find clothes that make them feel confident and beautiful, whatever their shape. She could have teamed with someone like Beebs or designers who make clothes to be worn by people (because M doesn't have the knack to do it on her own). She doesn't concern herself with others so of course it wouldn't happen. Another opportunity squandered.
Absolutely!@@mrsterious5845 You make a great point--Meghan could showcase a healthy lifestyle and have clothes made to fit, and co-ordinate with nutritionists and designers! Alas, if it's expensive, she just shoves it on any old way, and allegedly uses Ozempic rather than eating well and exercising rationally. Probably too much work for her...
I dont know if its true, but I've actually heard that MM pays people to write positive articles about her. Apparently this is quite a commonplace things when celebrities want to remain in the public eye. She has a list of publications that she regularly pays.
As a boomer, I wore some questionable outfits when I was young - don’t we all. With age comes knowledge, and MM is old enough to know better, but she lacks self reflection.
MM is making a fool of herself by the inappropriateness of outfits for an event, ill-fitting clothes & overall a sloppy, messy look! Because she has the resources it becomes more offensive! I think she does it intentionally! It is offensive & gross. She is just giving the event/ audience/ world a huge "middle finger" & saying "I'll do whatever I want since it's all about me & I know best!" Well, she is 100% wrong 🤮
Often times it’s not just the fact that she spends so wildly on clothes its the fact that what she’s wearing is inappropriate and offensive too, eg. What she wore to Invictus and that ‘off the shoulder thing’ to talk about a serious issue of children being bullied on line
I completely understand not shaming someone or making fun of someone for their body type or the budget (or lack of) when it is time to get clothes. What you do, and I really appreciate it, is educative. I am 60 years old, curvy, menopaused so no, I will not wear the same thing as a young firm and slim woman. :D Learning about proportions, fit and etiquette is a good thing.
Agree. When everything is wonderful there is nothing to contrast. This is not democracy where the individual is celebrated. It is the tyranny of ignorance and mediocrity.
Me-again won't get any clothes altered / tailored as i expect she sells them off .... Can't sell customised clothes easily .... But, Me-again could do with the right sized shoes ... it looks like a kid wearing their mums shoes ... I don't think since shes left Suits, that a stylist has been used, as i think she has perceived herself as a fashion icon / trendsetter ....
I've seen pictures of her on Suits, and many of the blouses were pulling on the buttons. Also, I wonder if she refused to wear something to hold her stomach in, a lot of paunch in her tight skirts. Or maybe the dressers didn't like her.
Well said. MM viewed the RF through celebrity colored glasses and acted as such. If she truly wanted it, she'd have adapted instead of running. Just proves she was more interested in the image and fairytale than the work.
But she could have had what Catherine has, if she had understood the role of the RF. But she was far too arrogant to accept it, thought she knew better.
@@soniavadnjal7553True. All she had to do was literally copy Catherine, Anne, Sophie, the late Queen's, Diana's actions when they were at their best. And followed all the rules. Even if it was merely performative, eventually she might have achieved Catherine or Diana popularity. A different type of narcissist would have understood that. Unfortunately, an M type of narcissist always places herself in opposition to others, and trends towards chaos to get attention.
Beebs I’d love to hear your insight on this one’s wife’s’ latest “ not dressing appropriately for the occasion “ re the Valentino dress to Katy perry concert when most had jeans on! As far as dressing for our bodies, I’m 5’ 104 lb but have wide shoulders. When I’ve tried off the shoulder I look gigantic like a linebacker but I can see that when I look in the mirror! Does she not see what we do ?
I've got broad shoulders too(was a swimmer) and I'm also only 5'3 with larger boobs 🤭 I would love to wear some of the things that Catherine wears but I know what looks dreadful etc. I love some of the maxi dresses but can end up looking like a walking tent😂 I'd like her clothes budget though!
Me too. Petite with broad shoulders. I wish i could wear a short sleeved shift dress. Always knits. Lol. Ive had to learn to look at outfits critically.
H.G. Tudor helped me get this, she sees everything as the most glamorous thing ever, popular, loved and everyone wants her or to be her, anything or anyone that threatens that view will be targeted for destruction. She cannot blow it off.
If she was any type of fashion icon or designers dream, she would have been signed up by now, especially after they first moved here and people were still thinking she was alright. Dior, and that fake story about her 20 million Dior deal must have received so much backlash that Dior had to come out and say there was no deal,. These fashion houses and big brand names already have their spokesperson, representatives, like Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Johnny Depp! They're not going to ruin their income by signing her, who has such a bad reputation and an even worse style and dress sense. When will these fake stories stop! Journalists and news outlets have gone to the pack when these are the stories they keep pushing. Anyone can look at Meghan and like her or not, she's a mess.
M did a photo shoot for a hair product line when she was in Canada. The photos I believe are all black and white. Probably to give an impression of glamour. Anyway, in spite of the clothes and hairdos, M still looked like a child playing dress up. High end whatever doesn't seem to fit her. I've also seen the ads she did for Reitmans. That seemed more her style.
Does anyone remember there used to be a segment on E! Called Fashion Police? On my, Joan Rivers was brutally straightforward as well as hilarious. She didn’t have her mercy on anyone poorly dressed. I really miss her.
i have the curse (in medicine it's a gift) of seeing things as they are.....not as i wish they were. So when i see Megs in an oversized bllue dress, or the swishy red number with the spaghetti straps at the Intrepid awayds, and fashion designers are saying that the dresses are fabulous!! all i think is.....wow! that fashion critic needs glasses!! They dumb down their reputation...a LOT. Cheers!
Just returned from a funeral where the husband of the deceased was dressed in a T-shirt. I understand what you mean about dressing for the occasion and respecting the event (and in this case, the deceased).
I'm not a big shopper, my career was spent mostly in uniforms. But I have certainly had a casual, and going out clothes for off time. I'm now retired. I need some standard black long and short sleeve blouses, not shirts for singing in a choir. I've been horrified to find that cheaper retailers sell T shirts l9ng and shirt sleeve with patterns and cutouts, and zero blouses. Moving up the ladder quality improves but still an absence of what I'd call appropriate business wear. Black dress pants, black blouse, black jacket that you can dress up with separates in color. Everything is stretchy, and no reasonable navy blue business dresses says frills and patterns that one can wear to funerals. So fast fashion isn't appropriate for all occasions, and appropriate is expensive and not easily available, especially on short notice!
I experienced that at my oldest son’s wedding. It was small but everyone was dressed up EXCEPT her uncle who came in from hunting! Messy, not smelling the best and sat at the parents table, it was quite the introduction.😏🙄
The only time a white t-shirt is appropriate for a funeral is when it has the deceased's picture on it and a majority of the mourners are also wearing the same memorial t. It's prevalent among the black community. I have family that is black and carry that tradition.
The phrase 'You only have one chance to make a first impression' is absolutely true! (Especially when on camera, at a job interviews, or any other important occasion where you are representing either your comiany, organization or networking for yourself). At 61, I've watched fashion fads come & go. It'll make you crazy (& broke) if you try to follow all of them. I still own coats, shoes & boots from the 80's & beyond, & smile as they came 'back in style'. To me, the most important thing is that you know what looks good on you & makes you feel confident & beautiful. Forget what the fashion rags say, dreas to make yourself happy! Thanks for another excellent video, luv ya Honey!💖
I'm 69 and I have clothes like that too If you buy quality fabrics and well cut clothing it can be retailored to adjust to the "new look " I have 2 pairs of boots that I bought in the 80s I've maintained them and they come out of the cupboard annually and I often get asked where I bought them hehe 😅😅
i'm not gonna lie, her clothes are beautiful and chic and trendy and all, but because of her styling or choices, they look cheaper and not suitable for many wrong reasons 😅😅
She often chooses clothing with silhouettes that are not flattering on her. Or on 99% of the population. Imo, some outfits she chooses won't look good on anyone because they're badly designed.
..........and also plagiarizes/copy's/latches onto/steals anyone else's GENUINE TALENTS b.c. she's devoid of any skills & talents of HER OWN except her Yachting Days ones & is particularly envious of Princess Catherine's Sportiness & Fitness skills. TOW must actually HATE her real self - as she even self-confessed years ago to being........."SUCH A FRAUD!" When somebody warns us about their true character & waves all their RED FLAGS AT US EXACTLY AS SHE DID on their Engagement Interview "this one's" pennies should have all dropped but of course, "he's a few pennies short of a £", that much we did know before his fateful soho house meeting with his future Stalking Predator. IMO
The gold Hertz dress is, IMO, one of her worst looks. I've seen the dress on several other people, including the model, and it looks terrible on all of them. I've decided it's a poorly designed garment that wouldn't flatter anyone. I doubt even those with Catherine's proportions and shape could pull it off. It's almost as if designers no longer design clothes meant to be worn by living breathing human beings but are intended to convey a message or concept, because it's so artistic. I expect that at the Met Gala which emphasizes costumery (if that's a word) not in professional settings.
Beebs, I absolutely loved your insights into how the acting industry and online clicks work. I also always thought Meghan approached her Royal role as if she was still a struggling ensemble actor using popularity stakes and social media to compete for the lead role - Queen. Frankly, I think the Royal family, monarchy and the Commonwealth are well rid of Harry and his wife. They’re blatantly ill-suited for the role of diplomat, visionary, leader in service on a global stage. They would never have been hired if they had had to apply for the job.
Beebs I'm so glad you addressed this. Every time I see the gushing reviews of MM's ill fitting outfits for the wrong event or season, I had mixed feelings of nausea & fury. Going forward, I'll remind myself that it's all about the money & the image/reputation. Someone who wears ripped jeans & a t-shirt to host their in-laws & future king & queen then wears thousands of dollars in designer clothes & jewelry to read to children in Harlem, is just off. Just because people aren't huggy doesn't mean their cold & if you have that attitude, it's not going to help you anywhere in life. Do you remember that show, What Not to Wear? I think Stacy & Clinton need to get together with MM for a special episode of the old show. Except MM isnt going to win a $5,000 credit card because that could barely dress her for 1 day. Haha
We need a Mr. Blackwell's list or the Fashion Police back calling what's good and bad as you have. I think what gets most people upset with celebrities wearing clothes that don't look good is that if we had the money they paid for that outfit we'd make sure to get something that looks good.
Yep. I thought the very same thing. You see all the smoozing and love when actors are being interviewed and another actor’s name is mentioned. It’s all, “Oh I LOVE (fill in the blank’s name). So phoney. So obvious.
I read that she is the most googled Fashion Icon but , I feel she’s googled most because people want to see her make an outfit look like 💩 not because she makes them look like they fit her correctly 😂
If anything she's worn was a success, it was during her acting days when she actually listened to a stylist. None of those very few good fashion choices were Megan -made. Someone dressed her. Now ....she's just a hot mess! Just horrific choices when left to her own devices.
Good explanation . I always questioned magazine’s tastes when they would praise some horrendous outfits . Also, that last dress that This One’s Wife was wearing reminded me more of some tunic tops I have than a dress .
@@samanthafordyce5795 I suppose that is applicable as well😀. That’s how HG Tudor started referring to her after the New York event when she called Harry ‘this one.’
I think she would look much better if she would realize her body shape and come to understand that sometimes when a supermodel wears something, it doesn't necessarily mean is going to look the same on you, especially if you are not tall...it always happened to me when I was going to buy clothes, a piece of clothing would look good on the mannequin, but it would never fit me, (I have big boobs) 😅 Thank you for another video Beebs, I am learning a lot about what to do and what NOT to choose when it comes to fashion 🥰❤❤❤
She once claimed to be a supermodel. It's possible she believes she has the body shape of a supermodel. That would explain some of her clothing choices.
Thank you so much for addressing this. I totally agree. In my twenties, I loved fashion magazines because I was trying to figure it all out. But I came to the conclusion that I just don’t get it. When they say something looks ‘fantastic’ and it looks like crap, I wonder ‘Am I crazy or are they?’ Now that I’m in my thirties, I just want to be comfortable and confident. Also, yes, it is very frustrating to see rich people dress like homeless people. If they don’t want to dress well, then give me the money and I’ll do it😜
For a laugh - remember the much too big blue and white summer dress MM wore to a friend of H's wedding? A badly fit fascinator stuck onto scraggly hair? A fashion mag raved about how wonderful she looked. In fact she looked like "something the cat dragged in" as me granny used to say. 🥰
Totally agree! I'm tired of the attitude of non criticism, everyone's a winner... You aren't disliking the person, you are trying to help them be better by pointing out what doesn't work.
I thought of her giant strides today walking into the grocery store. I couldn't do it without pain in the groin area. Bookworm calls it a "greedy" walk.
Oh I miss Joan Rivers so much. Her honesty and humour always put everything into perspective. I would have love to hear her comments on this one's wifes outfits.
I have concluded that Meghan buys (i.e., actually pays for) very few items of clothing, but rather "borrows" them, wears them once or twice, then returns them to the provider (likely the design house). If this is the case, it would explain why so many of the outfits she wears fit her so poorly: The source of the outfit (designer or whoever), in anticipation of actually selling the outfit to someone when it's returned, therefore would not like the clothes to be altered/tailored for MM. If MM were a rational person (which she's not), she'd actually BUY her own clothing and pay to have the items tailored to fit her figure. It wouldn't kill her to be seen re-wearing the same outfit on different occasions. ❤ your insights and critiques, Beebs!
This slideshow reminded me of the many, many incredibly expensive gowns that Charles bought for MM during her very brief tenure with the royal family. I wonder what happened to them all?!
That white dress at 15:10 makes her look like a Weeble. Though I'm not sure what body type other than maybe very tall and very slender(?) might look good in it. I know that even when I was relatively svelte in my 20s (35-25-40 and 5'6") I couldn't have pulled it off, not that even then I would have wanted to. I know that I've never looked great in skirts that don't fall to at least just below the knee.
I agree with you about the 'they should wear whatever they want' arguement. To me it's lazy and sounds a bit like a toddler tantrum. Yes you can wear what you want WITH the consideration of TIME and PLACE. You don't wear a bralette to a dinner at your grandparent's with uncles and aunts. You don't wear skimpy outfit meeting your in-laws for the first time. You don't wear a prom dress to a sombre event. You don't wear a beachwear to award show. I have a short torso with lack of defined waist and i learn so much from you, thanks.
Thank you for explaining why we shouldn’t trust fashion press coverage. Social media is not much better as people are afraid of speaking their mind and being “cancelled” as sexist, racist or body shamers. You are honest and back up your opinions by detailing why a fashion choice works or doesn’t. Respect.
Great talk on the fashion world - how it works, and how someone who has little to offer gets around it. More of these please, and more of why a magazine like Vogue would choose such bad style icon.
I personally could not function in that manner. I need reality and truthfulness in my life. My Ego is intact. I dont need or want constant stroking or praise.
Oh my gosh! You are sooooo right!!! I never thought about it this way! Just wondered about titles of articles praising what she wore like it was fabulous! It’s not! Never will be imho. By the way, that very last pic you showed of her (I think, white short dress), she looks just like a marshmallow!! Great content Beebs and again, you look pretty in pink!! Love from Oregon ♥️ Jessica

You make an excellent point for those of us that have no idea of how people act in those circles. It all came together when you said all the “yasss Queen!, everything is fab, circle.” 😂
All of us make the odd mistake in choice of clothing but when we see someone who consistently wears ill fitting, inappropriate or downright awful clothing on a regular basis it shows that money doesn't make the Lady as my mother used to say, Meg Markle is a case in point. What does she see when she looks in the mirror.
Looking at some of the "pre-Harold" pictures I realized the Meg never had a good fashion sense for her body type or style. I'd love to see a video from you covering those looks.
OMG! Say it ain’t so! She’s no fashion icon unless it’s the “trash bag” look or edition. I get your point but why would magazines think she’s a fashion icon?? Maybe the BEST thing for magazines is to just NOT include her in any topic of fashion. If they can’t say anything nice about her clothing choices, just don’t say anything at all concerning MM especially in a magazine.

I was told to dress for success.
That woman does the opposite. For a woman in her 40's that doesn't know her body enough to dress is ridiculous, then to have that much money and not get a stylist? There is no excuse.
Yes, dress up to the position you're aiming for.
She was provided a Royal Stylist but refused to adhere to their suggestions.
TOW thinks she knows it *all*!
Because she's too prideful to take anyone's advice!
What is funny is that in an interview before joining the royal family, Meghan went on and on about the importance of dressing for your body type, knowing what works for you, etc.. What a hypocrite she was.
I wish Joan was still around to deal with this woman’s ridiculous outfits!!!
Omg YES!!! Megsie would have been outed and dragged by our darling Joan. But perhaps it's nice that dear Joan was spared the awful horrorshow that is H & M.😊❤
Exactamundo!!
I miss Joan!!
@@Antikythera.. o me too!!!
Or Mr. Blackwell… he could do a burn like no other. She could appear on his “Ten Worst Dressed” list all by herself.
You only have to look at the way her clothes look on her to know she is NOT a fashion icon.
You can’t be a fashion icon if most of your outfits are wrinkled 🙄
Not to mention her chronically messy hair🙂
Or you don't look good in them....
common factors in her outfits suggest that she gets dressed in a cluttered wardrobe, at midnight, during a power outage.
As a boomer, I remember Mr. Blackwell, who predated Joan Rivers, and his Ten Best and Ten Worst lists. The Meg could have made his Ten Worst list by herself.
👏👏👏👏👏
YES!!
Even when Meg wore an OK outfit, it was never appropriate for the occasion. Evening dresses at day events, for example!!
The magazine article goes like, 'buy the exact dress M wore fir her birthday.....'.
Why would I on this earth be interested in doing that while being in my right mind?
Anyone for that matter. WHY? 😀
Because you wanted to be a snake for Halloween??
Speaking of which...I'm a goth and I'm a sucker for black and white striped clothing. I could totally wear that dress with wild, bejewled heavy black earrings and green eyeshadow. Super black cat eyeliner. Platform black strapped sandals. I have a pair from Steve Madden. Black, chunky lug soles, with wide straps.
Beetlejuice inspired. I love that movie.
Meghan has zero style, zero personality.
If weaponizing bronzer and heavy dark eye makeup makes you a style icon well......🤔
IKR?
Mrs Mountbatten-Windsor has never been nor will ever be an icon of any kind, least of all for clothing, style, or good taste.
Maybe this one? 🤢
That's a thing I can't stand with Meghan. She can afford all the resources in the world, so she has no excuse to wear ill fitting clothing. It's honestly frustrating to see
She’s an icon of “what not to wear!” 😂
I don't buy magazines any more. Most mags have lost the way. I now watch more on YT and I can make my own mind up rather than be forced feed. A great analysis and sums up what is going on in fashion. Keep going.
Exactamundo!!
Meg, a style icon? That’s hilarious! I’ve never seen a public figure look worse!
That does have a positive effect. A lot of people dress very sloppily these days.
IMO
If she thought her unkempt appearance would reflect on the monarchy, I'd say she made a huge error in judgement.
Not necessarily......... Because, Even now her fashion sense hasn't changed much
Guess who's never clicking on any link associated with her wardrobe...ME😂😂
I stopped reading magazines in the early 00s when i distinctly remember one headline touting Nicole Richie's "healthy new curves" aftwr her bout with an ed and she was still EMACIATED.
I would also never spend such an obscene amount of money on any item of clothing
Megan is a fashion Icon because she makes The Worst Dressed Woman of the Year List every year!!!!!😂
I don't think normal people pay attention to what magazines think
I dont know if its true, but I've actually heard that MM pays people to write positive articles about her. Apparently this is quite a commonplace things when celebrities want to remain in the public eye. She has a list of publications that she regularly pays.
Yes, they are called "puff pieces".
She does
As a boomer, I wore some questionable outfits when I was young - don’t we all. With age comes knowledge, and MM is old enough to know better, but she lacks self reflection.
Well i wont buy any magazine with her on the cover
It seems she dresses to offend the occasion, or the people attending.☮️
The meg is a fashion DON'T!
She does all this crap for one reason and one reason only - attention.
Vapid praise -
best description I’ve heard of the current landscape.
Delusional.
I've seen pictures of her on Suits, and many of the blouses were pulling on the buttons. Also, I wonder if she refused to wear something to hold her stomach in, a lot of paunch in her tight skirts. Or maybe the dressers didn't like her.
It's just like in commercials. They also say a lot of things which are false just to make a sale.
She's incapable of adapting to anything. The RF is better without them.
I loved Fashion Police too
Beebs I’d love to hear your insight on this one’s wife’s’ latest “ not dressing appropriately for the occasion “ re the Valentino dress to Katy perry concert when most had jeans on!
Someone many years ago must've told TOW that she had fabulous shoulders. I guess she's also been falsely told she has great legs. Blowing smoke?
@@infin8eeI think Meghan sees what she wants to see. Unfortunately.
Well said!
Those idiotic shorts at 43 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Does anyone remember there used to be a segment on E!
Geez, was it at least a black t-shirt?
@@rt66vintage16 No. it was white.
@@daintydinah7648 Exactly! 💖
Joke of the year! Mexit is NOT a fashion icon! 😂😂 obviously paid someone to write this!
i'm not gonna lie, her clothes are beautiful and chic and trendy and all, but because of her styling or choices, they look cheaper and not suitable for many wrong reasons 😅😅
TOW must actually HATE her real self - as she even self-confessed years ago to being........."SUCH A FRAUD!"
When somebody warns us about their true character & waves all their RED FLAGS AT US EXACTLY AS SHE DID on their Engagement Interview "this one's" pennies should have all dropped but of course, "he's a few pennies short of a £", that much we did know before his fateful soho house meeting with his future Stalking Predator.
The picture at 3:15 in MM's big red disaster is secondhand embarrassment for the world. She looks like she weighs 300 pounds.
The black and white number looks just right for a prison break.
Gosh, you blow her away Beebs.
Insightful commentary. Thank you
If shes a fashion icon, then I'm a giraffe
Good explanation . I always questioned magazine’s tastes when they would praise some horrendous outfits .
Also, that last dress that This One’s Wife was wearing reminded me more of some tunic tops I have than a dress .
Thank you for spelling out what TOW means. I hadn't encountered the term before and thought it meant The Old Witch. 🙂
@@samanthafordyce5795 I suppose that is applicable as well😀. That’s how HG Tudor started referring to her after the New York event when she called Harry ‘this one.’

Excellent overview beebs. This is why we're following independent creators who don't have to pander, have an opinion and aren't gaslighting us. Bravo!
Megsie body type is impossible to get an easy good look going. Needs a lot of work and planning
I think her outfits would make her look better if she had clean her ears and listen to the staf and/or some stylist.
Same! Those mannequins always trip me up but sadly no boobs, just short & thick. Seriously, how many women really look like those mannequins?!
She once claimed to be a supermodel. It's possible she believes she has the body shape of a supermodel. That would explain some of her clothing choices.
@@mrsterious5845 🥺 a supermodel no one heard, read of nor have se? Then 😀
Thank you so much for addressing this.
What in the hell is up with that stride? Constantly!! 😮😮😅😅
I thought of her giant strides today walking into the grocery store. I couldn't do it without pain in the groin area. Bookworm calls it a "greedy" walk.
@rtvintage16
Lecherous walk more like 👍
She couldn't do that in the snake dress haha
Oh I miss Joan Rivers so much. Her honesty and humour always put everything into perspective. I would have love to hear her comments on this one's wifes outfits.
You look fab Beebs ❤
Thanks! 💛
Apparently she sold or "returned" a lot of them and pocketed the proceeds.
Very incisive observation and so true 👍
Respect.
4:16 The “$17 Dupe” is Harry in this case!

Really intelligent points made. Vapid is an excellent word choice for this stuff.
She takes pride in not using a stylist - it shows 😂🤣😅
They are being paid to.
Or receiving a favor for doing so.
Follow the dollar! Backed to the hilt by those keen to destabilise the monarchy!
