Great part 1. Spotted myself a couple of times (Crows Nest meet-up and silent disco!). Loved the look of Bremen. I wasn’t brave enough to diy it by train ourselves. Sophie and I did the Klimahaus in Bremerhaven which was really enjoyable but would definitely look at getting to Bremen if there was a next time.
It’s a beautiful city isn’t it?!
Really enjoyed seeing the peninsular lunch. It’s not often mentioned on vlogs, even ones staying in mini suites.

Jamie we loved this!!! Reliving our trip all over again. You do such a brilliant job of explaining so many processes on board and gave some amazing tips. Ooo like a virgin - Madonna! Ah we saw ourselves swimming! Cracking pipes on you Jamie! Hope your man cold didn't turn into man flu - we've heard that's deadly! Ok how did you avoid the rain in Bremen!!! We got soaked! Schnoor was amazing and we did the Christmas shop too! Bremen was just stunning! Sindu was incredible - best food we had on board. Our service in sindu was incredible. Amazing food. Omg - it's us!! this cruise was my 1st ever. I think we met on the 2nd day when we were at sea. My friend took a picture of us both and every time I see it, it puts a smile on my face. Meeting you really made my holiday!

As a silly side note: my daughter, Michaela, has just renewed her passport and now has a proper UK blue one 💙 (I am so jealous!) It was seeing yours at the start that prompted this. We’re on the Iona when you’re getting on the Arcadia in May (I’ll wave if I see you). I like to get on the ship and book what I can’t book from home. I’m sure I can navigate around the ‘app thats not an app’ but with having to get the last four digits from your key card do you have to wait until you can get to your room? On royal Caribbean that’s not until about 2:30 😢
I was able to get my card as soon as I got on at 12ish!

Not sure if you’ve watched the other parts yet but the transfers to Bremen / Bruges were via P&O / your personaliser and everything else I did independently and all signposted in the vids. Have fun!

Hi Debbie - I’m really sorry but I don’t understand the Q. This is a cruise to the Netherlands / Germany from Southampton and back - no flight required. Unless I’ve misunderstood?

@@debbieball900 yes, princess cruises from Los Angeles and also Fort Lauderdale. Simple process of booking a flight and cruise separately but when further afield we arrive at least a day or 2 in advance in case of delays and to explore

Hi Jamie, great vlog. When you get on Iona, are you able to find the 6 digit code somewhere other than the cruise card to logon to the App/website ? I’d like to book things asap if possible.
Think it’s the last 6 digits on the number on your boarding pass too
I think Andrew might be on to something but I’ve never looked as I always get my card as soon as I board
It’s a little secret to book the activities you can’t before hand whilst waiting in the departure lounge prior to boarding….shhh…don’t tell too many people!

I find the SkyDome acts (not the singers) a bit weird - sort of a cut price Cirque du Soleil with all the things that make this those shows worth watching.

That was not how the North Sea was in February 2022 🤢 admittedly we were cruising Norway but oh my goodness it was rough at times. We couldn’t make anticipated speed due to the weather and everything breakable was moved to the floor and balcony furniture was tied up!
You never know with any sea or ocean

We had some calm moments but as someone who suffers from seasickness coming back to the furniture all tied up was “concerning “ 😂 I basically mainlined Stugeron the whole trip. It didn’t put me off and we are due to cross from Iceland to Faroe and eventually Norway this year so I’ll just pack plenty of seasickness tablets - just in case because as you say, you can never tell.
