Always spot on and well detailed, thank you sooooo much, it was difficult to find current rabbit info for the Caribbean and then most of it was vague , you guys are a God-send!!!!!
I’m really enjoying your videos. Thank you for the work you put into them. I’ve used both the rigid PVC pipes and the soft tubing. I find that with time each presents it’s own challenges. At present I prefer the soft tubing as when the eventual problem occurs it is rapidly fixed. The PVC sometimes cracks (stress, UV sun damage, etc) and that is a more time intensive repair. That said, the plastic T connectors sold with the nipples also fail eventually, so I’ve taken to replacing them with brass Ts. The brass ones are expensive, so I opted to do it slowly over time. But the brass ones never fail so the investment pays off. Finally you are spot on re algae in the clear tubing but I would not be comfortable with any setup where I can not easily visually confirm the ongoing passage of clear water. So no black tubing for me. Rather, when the algae becomes prolific, I just massage gently that part of the tubing after having removed the closest nipple downstream. That way the algae drains out and the problem is resolved. Thank you again for your work!
A lot of agri shop have started selling those items so shop around. In the east most people go to PharmaVet. The nipple and tee are usually sold separately but at the same location. Happy hunting
Great video...We have both pvc and clear tubing .. The pvc as you rightly said is more durable..Our tubeing is inside so it's away from sunlight but we have had to change out nipples on a regular basis...some are definitely of better quality than others and rabbits learn to pull on the inside of the nipples causing it to stick...Some types are more susceptible to this...Never had any issues with the pvc t types...
Good stuff as usual Sean. We've gone through many iterations of our watering system till we settled on one. From clear tubing to chicken nipples. We now use the same nipples(dew drop nipples) you use but we mount them vertically. I read that that is how it should be done so I was wondering why they were mounted horizontally in your operation. Do they leak when mounted liked that? When we expand we will look at possibly changing it again.
I use the metal ones I don't have much alge problem the nipples last about 7-8 months somethings more but the metal breaks down inside where they push for the water and it leaks
Hey Sean, I mostly follow you guys for the aquaPonics videos, since ah yah raise rabbits in my sub-division but today you raise my curiosity when you mention the homemade wine just a little, I know this is not the place for such discussion but could you do a video on that, ah asking for ah friend in foreign!

No, they don't leak because they are spring loaded. the spring behind the tip keep a tight seal

Wow, thanks for the feedback. That's a bit short. What you think?
As usual, this video is very informative. I would love to see a video on how you clean your cages and the colllection process of your manure.
Noted!

Try online. Also many agri shops sell them now
Very informative! From the beginning of this pandemic to present time have you experienced an increase or decrease in sales?
Meat sales have slowed a bit, but not much. However we've seen a big jump in breeding stock sales

I'll consider it.
Nice informative content! 👍🏽 Two things. (1) Its a one way air pressure valve (a.k.a air-lock) and (2) where you have the vat homie? 🤔😋
Thanks for the tips! Don't know how I draw a blank on that air lock. Lol. Shhhh
Hey just getting into rabbits and was wondering if you guys have a contact number
