God bless them all. Dedication n commitment says alot about true character. Alot of talent mentioned here....and yes i am certain these are not all. Guess what though...thank you for sharing your talents with me n the world.
It seemed as though the focus was mainly on singers. But yeah there’s plenty of great musicians in their 70’s and 80’s I just saw Deep Purple in August and they’re all in those years but only Ian Gillian was mentioned in this video Ian Paice was phenomenal on drums for 80 years old.
*John Kay* of John Kay & Steppenwolf! Many videos have been made stating, *"These Musicians have their Original Wives."* In which they always leave John and Muay Kay out (not fair)! John Kay is still gigging, although not with Steppenwolf, but at selected venues, via solo.
Grace doesn't perform anymore.b Either does Linda Ronstadt..for different reasons. This list is kind of weird: the title says "rock", but mentions Willie Nelson and Frankie Valli..who are great..but not rock..country and pop respectively. No mention of rockers like Ace Frehley; mentioning Roger Daltrey..but not Pete who composed 99.9% of The Who songs, mentioning Ann Wilson..but not Nancy..mentioning Debbie Harry 2x..but leaving out harder female rockers like The Pretenders..mentioning Stevie Wonder (more a pop artist than a rocker) and leaving out George Clinton..not a realistic video.
As long as they've managed to get past those wild and crazy youthful years without an overdose, most people can usually do their thing through their seventies. Now, their eighties is probably going to be another story. With all their money, the one thing they CAN'T BUY is youth. 😮
Amazing how you leave out 2 82 year olds still performing their hits across the country in 2024, that would be Danny Hutton and Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night
What about Dewey Brunell (America) and Tommy Shaw (STYX) also James Young of STYX. I saw STYX last month and America in August, they haven't lost a step.
My very first concert 1973 billion dollar babies...my mom wouldn't let me go see The Who...she never forgot their appearance on the smother brothers show...then alice cooper announced they were playing on my birthday..I said Mom I want tickets for alice cooper for my birthday (I was turning 14) she said ..oh that's a nice name and got me and my girlfriend a ticket lol
Um..I love Roger Daltrey..but I am pretty sure that Pete Townshend writes and wrote Baba O' Reilly and My Generation..any Wholigan knows that!😑It was PETE that wrote "hope I die before I get old." And btw you mention Roger..and not Pete?😑 Also: Willie Nelson is great, but he is not really rock..and btw no mention of Donovan, Fee Waybill of The Tubes, Mickey Dolenz, Brett Michaels, Gunnar Nelson, Sebastian Bach, The Pretenders, Joan Jett..
Who knew there were two singers named Debbie Harry? More amateur junk - available here on TH-cam!! And what the hell do the rankings mean? McCartney, Jagger and Dylan - all somewhere in the middle??
I have loved. Willie over 40 years.
God bless them all. Dedication n commitment says alot about true character. Alot of talent mentioned here....and yes i am certain these are not all. Guess what though...thank you for sharing your talents with me n the world.
Robin Trower should be mentioned. He's still playing that strat beautifully!
You beat me to it. Yes absolutely. Love Trower. Miss Dewar's voice though.
Saw them in concert in 1976 Chicago. Magical.
@@smorgasbroad1132 Wow, that's great! I miss Dewar's voice as well.
Debbie Harry is so good, that she's on place 14 AND place 2 in the ranking... Wow!
I noticed that too! Maybe she has a split personality.
I was going to word it the same way LOL. I knew I wasn't losing it. Anyway, I like to see them still all rockin!
They were all my idols when I was a kid in the 80s.
Alice Cooper Proves THAT ROCK NEVER DIES!!!
Bruce has a new album ''Leavin the USA''.
Can we pitch in if he hurries up?
oh that is funny, thanks
😂
Lists like this are why I don’t fear AI. Yet. No Ringo? Debbie Harry doubled?
It amazes me the artist's that are not on this list.
Awesome that plant is number 1 , he never stops writing and touring
ann wilson is just gorgeous and has a fantastic Rock voice.
You can not forget about a Angus Young.
Seems he did though. some curious omissions'
He’s not over 70. Close but not there yet.
I guess you never heard of Van Morrison. More active than most of these.
Wow, did you forget someone. Rather, two someones. Ever hear of Brian May and Roger Taylor????? Aged 77 and 75 respectively.
It seemed as though the focus was mainly on singers. But yeah there’s plenty of great musicians in their 70’s and 80’s
I just saw Deep Purple in August and they’re all in those years but only Ian Gillian was mentioned in this video Ian Paice was phenomenal on drums for 80 years old.
@Mithra-bl7nv
You can only have 25 names on a list of 25. Get it?????
They are not front men
*John Kay* of John Kay & Steppenwolf!

I noticed that Debbie Harry was on 2x as well. Maybe once for the left and once for the right?
An interesting comment that, it would be revealing to go through the political leanings of those shown, Springsteen wont be much of a revelation.
SIR RODNEY STEWART……80 years young. how many 80 year olds can sing HOT LEGS ….😇
Trower, nugent. Lonesome George. DLR. ECT
No Bonnie Raitt, N. Young, Pat Benatar, Ozzie, Cher, Grace Slick, John Mellencamp to name a few others
Grace slick deserves to be in this list
Grace slick has endured since 1970@@leefreed2060
@@leefreed2060Grace slick hasn't toured since 1990

She does not perform anymore..but if she did..she'd deserve to be.
Good picks. But how about Petula Clark ?
Seriously I want to see Folgerty
Debbie Harry's twice on the list!
As long as they've managed to get past those wild and crazy youthful years without an overdose, most people can usually do their thing through their seventies. Now, their eighties is probably going to be another story. With all their money, the one thing they CAN'T BUY is youth. 😮
Maybe include Justin Hayward , the voice of the Moody Blues, still touring.
Robin Trower?
You forgot Ringo Starr and Andy Scott
Yep, Andy Scott is still solidly touring.
You did Debbie Harry twice!!
Ummm where is Rick Springfield and the badass Suzi Quarto!?????
Pretty much retired, aren't they?
@howardhales6325 nope. Still making music and touring
@@leefreed2060 Great! Love it!
I love Suzi Quatro's music but unfortunately she has passed away. Died in a car crash with a drunk driver.😢
@@Guvament_bs Wikipedia has her still alive and rockin' at age 74.
Debbie Harry twice while leaving Ringo Starr off the list.
Good vid. Good job. Really enjoyed it.
13:12 Jim Breuer doing his imitation of Rob Halford !
No ozzy
Seriously, you put Debbie Harry at 14 and number 2 what about Pat Benatar? Did you forget her? She is the queen of rock.
I saw Alice Cooper in June of 1971 at The Paramount Northwest in Seattle.

I didn’t see Pat Benatar
Ringo Starr??
and what about FRANCIS ROSSI ??!!!!
John kay i think is still performing
Peter gabriel (dont give up)?
How about Phil Moog and Mick box
You forgot Todd Rundgren.
Todd works harder than any of them at 76
This is just another one of those list's made by someone or something that doesn't do there homework ... Debbie Harry twice 👎
The picture shown at 8:52 is not Paul McCartney but an impersonator.
You listed Debbie Harry twice and then left out Ringo.
just how many times are you going to use the word iconic ?
How about Randy bachman add Fred Turner
Is there two Debra Harry's ??
At #14, Debbie Harry.
At # 2, Debbie Harry.
Brian Johnson?
you forgot Patti Smith
‘Icons”, “iconic”… such an overused term. “Legacy,”too.
How about how about Toya
Don Henley?
Francis Rossi.
I’ve just got 3 words to add to this list: Randy fuckin’ Bachman!
BRIAN MAY

Debbie Harry on here twice, rather than putting another one?
As others have noted, Debby Harry is on the list twice. That is the trouble with AI generated content. Never again.
How about Rob halford of Judas priest
he's is on the video
Iconic is a word I now hope to never hear again.
Please widen your vocabulary.
Willie Nelson needs to retire
Why dis yiu fill in subliminal pictures with others? Like Tom Morello???
Iggy Pop!!!
Who knew there were two singers named Debbie Harry?

i never liked willy nelson
Frankie Valli should stop and get off now. He doesn't even sing
What about Elton John, the best rock n roll musician ever
