@@ghostman779 yep exactly. I’m hoping they give another game like this another girl and make it more ambitious. There’s a lot of galaxies in this game and you can enter every single one of them… But there’s only a very limited number of planets in a very limited number of galaxies. Considering that isn’t properly representative of the universe IRL, I would like to see at least a few more galaxies have more varied planet population… I’ve never played no man’s sky, although I’m hearing sort of mixed reception about it. Is it any good?
@@yeetdiscreet1278 I didn't play it when it originally released but I heard it was horrible. Just started playing this year and the game has definitely been improved. So just like this game you can visit a whole bunch of planets and galaxies and from what it looks like, it's literally an endless amount of them, all you would need is the right warp drive or be close enough to jump to them. Exploration is fun but tedious like you need to collect a bunch of resources like sodium or oxygen to craft, upgrade equipment and generally survive, also inventory management is key. There's also some combat both on and off world and it's pretty simple. Flying up to the planets like I said before can mess with you a little. Oh and there is a story but you don't really have to follow it, like as soon as I learned the basics, I've just been free roaming. Creature designs are OK, haven't met any that were hostile yet though. I'd say it's a decent buy if you like space travel/exploration
FYI, the black hole actually doesn’t kill you. It simply warps space time in your character’s perspective and the alien invaders would destroy Earth in the time that would pass just being inside a black hole for seconds.
Signs are collectibles that you can find in the universe, after Mission 3 you follow a path to get an ability to fly 1 trillion times the speed of light.
This game manages to give me chills when exploring outside of the earth even though the only thing that can kill the character is a blackhole which you have to purposefully go in to die and nothing else... or is it? The uncertainty and unknown is creepy.
Weirdly enough if you play on free mode you won't die from blackholes anymore. but now that you do not have a quest on earth anymore, you will no longer have a beacon to find earth, so once you leave our solar system, you are lost in space forever. It is spooky in vr lol
Play Space Engine then, it's more scientifically accurate and therefore waaay more terrifying. It simulates a lot more objects in space, such as supergiants ect. The black holes have gravitational lensing and other touches like that
i have a phobia of this shit. Idk what its called idek if its real but I encountered 2 black holes orbiting eachother and it was the most terrifying experience in my whole life. No horror game has come close to making me feel that alone and powerless. Safe to say I immediately got off the game and pet my dog. Also i was on pc…. I would not survive in vr
I don’t even have Astrrophobia .. and I still think this game is terrifying… I don’t think the human brain is meant to understand outer space.. 😂 the vastness is overwhelming
This is supposed to be the super massive black hole of that galaxy. Note that it's in the center of the galaxy(not exactly center in this game but ok). Plus it has 3 stars orbiting it which means its gravity gotta be hella strong
Black holes are so misterious and creepy its just nothing sucking up everything it finds, we will never know what happen inside one, its so fascinating tho
If you look towards the horizon when you hit the "ground" of the black hole, can can see it's just a star but very, very black. The ground effects are identical to those of stars.
Breakdown: On the third sign (collectables) which emit a white shine (earth is the blue shine) you find a black hole in the middle of a trinary star system. If you need more info please feel free to ask.
I don’t think it would be a trinary star system if it’s only being held together by the black hole. They wouldn’t be there that long at that close of a distance. I have found trinary star systems where the 3 stars are in a line. I’ll be on the look out for this
Sadly no, once you have viewed one, you cannot view it again because they disappear (unless you restart story) Also I am not sure if you can find other signs without doing previous ones, considering the universe is endless, it is nearly impossible to find them with a beacon. That is why each one as they appear give off a shining beacon to tell you where it is.
Nah, you don’t die. In story mode, if you go into a black hole the time dilation produced by being inside it allows the alien invaders to destroy Earth while you’re inside. In free roam, black holes do nothing.
You can find black holes randomly in both modes, but to guarantee a find you have to be on story mode. Also in free roam mode you won't get a beacon to find your way back to earth, so you will be lost. Black holes don't kill you on free roam too
@@vectorm3832 I have, it is really fun, feels like I am superman or something lol Sadly I don't think free roam mode is available in vr, but I tried it out when free roam mode was first added, so It might have been patched in. I haven't played in like a year lol

Sorry for the late reply, I never got any notifications.
You ether have to find one naturally or play a new game and get to the sign on the video.

Astrophobia. Whenever I go into space in any VR game I get this sense that I am not supposed to be there. It makes me very on edge.
