Great idea worked for the gas company for 39 years around welders all time never seen any cope like that thanks for sharing.I going to try this on some tubing on bicycle frames.
Well dang I used a band saw to make straight cuts then took a grinder to it 😅 your ways seems a lot easier I am going to have to try this way in a few weeks
Saddelingnis when a pipensits on another pipe a coup is when a pipe is attarched beween 2 pipes. Also siper long method would take u a month to build a fence in the field. Cut at like 40 degres and weld it up. On your split rail between 2 post measure from the inside of 1 to half inch pasted other towards rhe opposite side and thst give you your coupe. Good video thow nice to see people usinf a bandsaw niw
I bought a dewalt cordless bandsaw, toasted the blade on it it 2/5 cuts... Ordered some 10/14 bimetal blades, waiting to try. What blade do you use if you have to cut old oilfiled pipe? I have been using a torch ( badly ) for yrs:)
Great question! They have a few different options based on TPI (Teeth Per Inch). How it works is the thicker and harder the material the more teeth per inch you will want. With Oilfield pipe we usually used the 24 TPI. Hope this helps!
@@SevenPeaksFenceandBarn Thanks, I think maybe the one that came on it was for soft materials. I bought some 18tpi dewalt bi metal blades with the bandsaw. So far I have gotten 20 cuts or so on the bi metal and it looks like it's going to last for a long time.
