Utah Jeff … here … just a slight correction …. You will never have the full 1548 watt hours available… the inverter eats around 15% of the watt hours …. In reality you have around 1300 to 1325 watt hours … if you have a portable fridge @ 45 watts ….usage it could run probably 48 - 60 hours before it needs a charge ….just my opinion…, for those new to power stations
Note: High end portable fridges dont use 45w all the time only when they run, so most of the time they use 1 - 5w which then this battery should run it for a week or so. My 530wh bluetti runs my dometic 28L fridge for 2 - 3 days in one charge.
Thank you thank you thank you!!! I just got this direct from manufacturer website as it was cheaper than Amazon $649 shipped free no sales tax. However i was disappointed that i couldn't use my rooftop solar as it's 300w in parallel and my portable solar panel 160w @ 19v which I can use to charge my Vtoman Jump 1500 doesn't have the correct voltage 30v - 60v to charge this unit. So i was thinking of throwing a couple of cheap 100w panels in series to achieve enough voltage. HOWEVER I couldn't find out of this was possible despite hours of searching. I didn't want to invest in more panels if they won't work. Well you've shown they will. It would be nice to have 400w in panels but that's a lot of heavy panels to lug around and I'm not sure if the open volt circuit would be too high, 4 x 19v = 76v so unless i can magically do 3 panels in series to bring down the voltage below 60v or run 2 panels in parallel and then series = 38v and around 10 amp I would have to purchase their 400w panel which is around $500. You have shown me the way and for that I'm grateful 👍 subscribed.

Great video. Just what I needed. I am saving to get just a little more power and they have a smaller station that has a starter, air compressor and power station. I broken down twice in June, just needed a jump. I would have been a lot safer if I had one of those. How do you know what size jumper cables, well not the cables just the capacity, are needed? Matty - you can connect dissimilar panels in series since the voltages add. The current will be limited to the lesser of the two. Don't do this with the panels in parallel. If the VTOMAN has MPPT, it will try to adjust the combination of panel voltages for the highest power output.
@@MattyVanHalenwait, correct me if I’m wrong guys, I noticed the comment above saying the voltages add, that could be misleading, because that only happens in series, I know this from vaping, I am definitely not an expert, but that is a thing, series adds the voltage but maintains the amps I believe as if it were a single cell or in this case panel, the reverse applies to parallel
@@MattyVanHalenI realise I’m commenting about a month since the video posted, I apologize, but the reason the distinction is important has to do also with the panel’ “voc” rating, since it doubles with each addition in series format being a rating tied to voltage it will quickly become a compatibility issue depending on the power station, sorry again, just reacting a bit to what could be accidentally misleading
The storage compartment and the jump starting connection are two very cool features I have not seen on other brands. I looked on the Vtoman website and found that the jumper cables cost $30.
Yes, the display is hard to see. I don't understand watts, etc. I don't know what can connect to what. I have to buy a complete unit when I get one. Call the company, maybe the jumper cable was supposed to be in the box. I don't recognize the jumper connection. Love the 'trunk". Thank you for the review.

Instead of the janky 18 open volt panels in series to give a supposed 36 volts, which will only be that high with no load, why not plug it in to the 12 volt car charging , nominal 12 VDC ?
The recharge capabilities of all VTOMAN power stations have always been less than 200 watts input (That's why I didn't buy one) are you sure about your claim of its 1500-watt input rechargeability?

It's funny but that top hatch is a selling point for me, as I could store all the damn phone cords and stuff up there permanently
