I think you are about ready to unlock The Forgotten. If you are gonna play Azazel try to knock two birds with one stone and do dark room + forgotten. To start the forgotten unlock you need to beat the first floor boss in less than a minute, After that, if you go to the starting room there should be a big shadow, you need to bomb the center of the room and the broken shovel will drop. Important things: 1. Never Never leave a room without the shovel, you can grab other active items but if you leave the shovel it will disappear. 2. You can use the broken shovel to stop the foots for the room. 3. Don't stop moving!! winning is as simple and as hard as never stop moving. 4. You will also do boss rush in the run so prepare for that. 5. After completing the shovel, I think it may work like the updated We need to go deeper shovel, if you open a path down above a tile with some extra stuff you are guaranteed a crawlspace. (is hard to explain in text, maybe you should look it up) Strategies I would use: 1. You can pause the game to chill out for a moment. 2. After beating the first boss but before bombing the starting room, spend some extra time to find every advantage you can in the first floor. 3. I will go for angel rooms during the run, they have more defensive items and you can't use something like book of revelations to offset your health. (also, you can try to do Mega Satan too) Well that's about it, good luck and great run from today.

Yea. The hardcore streakers (heh) like Cobalt and Sinvicta detest pills and buttons and many cool items that can blow up in your face. I respect their mojo too, but Reto out here just living his best life is fun.
Cobalt is imho one of the best BoI players out there. He generally doesn't take pills because it's gambo he doesn't enjoy. He will take any chance at snowballing though by making risky moves like floor 1 sac room as often as possible.

It was due to a complaint that people had where they felt forced to go to the Alt path if they played Apollyon because of the double item munching. They kept it in for the new Repentance character because they’re part of the DLC and designed that way, but Apollyon wasn’t.
You've already been informed that Void doesn't work destroy more than one item, BUT you can use it to see if you'd want a blind item! You can use Void while you're holding an item to still absorb it, so you can safely touch a blind item and instantly absorb it if you didn't actually want it.
As a note with the shiny rock trinket, it always triggers the moment you enter a room, as a QOL feature. This means you can just use it to scan a room in the first second you enter it, making it a lot more consistent to use
Oh, also, good rule of thumb for the Luck stat: It only affects end of room drops and item effects. That's all it consistently does, as far as I'm aware, so just think of it as an end-of-room-drop chance up. It also increases the quality OF the end of room drop, which is why you get a ton of chests if you hit 10+ luck
Hey man can you use a QoL mod called "Colored Achievement Descriptions" it looks good and it says what you did to unlock stuff cuz sometimes I have no idea what you did to unlock XYZ Love your content btw I've been watching for years lol
Teleporting around might make you waste more time as you more liberally use it (never "ugh I'm not gonna walk there to pick that up with .7 move speed) Buuuut it's a pretty massive advantage as far avoiding damage goes. Some rooms just have a spike between the two doors you enter/exit and when traversing normally especially with high move speed you might forget about a room layout and just impale your face. Or rooms with blue spike blocks or Brimstone statues that don't deactivate on room clear. All these could potentially cost you the heart that costs you the run, but you traverse as if your awareness were perfect and your attention never slips. No hate, I use QoL mods myself, but I think it's fair to acknowledge given advantages.
The difference between these playthroughs and mine, besides the fact that I only have goddamn Rebirth and no mods working for it with shit FOV, is the goddamn skill level. Dunno how you do it. I keep running into enemies sometimes like an idiot with Azaroth, feels like the mans has no brakes with flight.

You don't want to use it to get items at the expense of not being able to the The Void to suck stuff up. Right? Isn't the right play to absorb items that give you a benefit when absorbing other items?
You want to leave the cracked key even after you unlocked the Tainted characters, because once you unlock a certain item, it always spawns in the Red Closet.... Of course, you need to go to Home for that.

I think the instant poop/fire destruction should be fine. Especially if it excludes dark fires/poops in combat

Absorbing passives gives you stats, if I understand the confusion correctly. But I'm not sure I do.
