Weekly Update to the Garden

Checking on the Garden and picking a Cantaloupe! A sweet snack!
We have lots of watermelons that are coming in. A couple of cantaloups that can be picked soon and one picked today! You can tell when a cantaloupe in ready to be picked when the leaves are starting to wither that are closest to it. The tomato plant finally started growing and hoping to see some fruit soon. The okra is coming too and should be picked in the next couple of days. The squash is not doing so well as it has in years passed but have some flowers on it so should show some squash growing very soon! I did not see any cucumbers growing - so I didnt mention them this week.
