Hi just to say this watch is amazing I have mine Last week. Not for sports or diving but rather to wear it in town with a suit and tie style or a casual outfit. Perfect size for a handle of 18.5cm.
This was a fantastic Video (that Im watching 3 years late). I would have kept the stickers as well. Yes we are weird but those who do this get why you would.
Rolex uses special steel that are super hard and they do not scratch easily. The only part that does scratch is the clasp on newer models. You will notice it will be the first to get scratch. My Submariner is 12 years old and it still looks sharp and new like the day I bought it. It's amazing how a watch maker can achieve this. I have a 5 yr old Tag Heuer and it definitely shows its age and looks beat up compare to my Rolex. I love wearing my Sub when driving the 997, Two fine crafted machine and I get compliments all the time on them. Enjoy your beautiful watch and hope to see you in a Porsche soon.
Michael Bath I read this tip in the Rolex forum. Once done, the comfort of the bracelet has multiplied. A stunning watch with breathtaking wrist presence. Your video is taking those stickers gives adrenaline rush :-)
The Sea Dweller is a seriously heavy chunk of steel. A true “work” watch. A friend of mine complains that his is too heavy. Personally, I like the weight as I appreciate steel sport watches with heft.
Michael Bath Loving Mechanical watches really goes hand in hand with Porsche enthusiasts. We appreciate the mechanics of a Porsche, so it makes sense that we would appreciate a fine mechanical watch.
Most markets Rolex AD's will now remove all stickers - except middle east it seems. Rolex is trying to curb Grey market sellers inflating their prices. Hard to get models obtained from Rolex AD at retail are usually sold at a premium with full stickers and blank warranty card. For me... removing the stickers means its mine, i will wear it and never intend to sell, its meant to look like a watch that has been worn and aged with time. Cheers
By wich do you recognized an experienced Paneristi ? Answer : He wears Rolex :-) Great Video....what do you thing about the colour of the Dial ? about the matte Dial ?
Without a doubt, this is currently the best dive watch available in the world. An absolutely classic grail watch.
Yep 😁 I agree !!
So do I!

This is the King of divers in my opinion. I see you kept the diving links, taking them off will help balancing the watch much better.
Cheers! Thanks for the tip. Will check wth the AD and maybe have the diving links removed.
Michael Bath the glide lock is more than enough unless you’re diving with a specialized suits.
I wonder why they didn't suggest to remove? When i am back in Bahrain i will get it done. Thanks for that 👍

Cheers
Michael, how did you get this out with stickers on from your AD?
In the middle East AD's leave or stickers on.

Its heavy but when on the wrist (and after wearing it all day today) it is really well balanced. I love it!

Michael Bath I have both the SD43 and the JC. I love both of them and I can yes they are well balanced, if you size them the right way on your wrist.
Beautiful time piece Micheal. Didn't catch this, but what is the significance of all the stickers, or is there any? Great vlog.

Michael Bath I truly wish more people were like you mate.
I really enjoyed your video. I’m waiting patiently for my James Cameron 126660 from my AD.
Not easy to get that one.
Hi how many links do you have in your full set bracelet?
Not sure. Will check and get back to you. 👌
Michael Bath I think I got a count by pausing at various moments in your video🎐 it’s 11 thanks !
ok, and 3 links removed.
Hi Michael - Congratulations on getting such a beautiful watch. On the occasions when you don't wear it do you use a watch winder?
Was thinking of buying a few watch winders. I don't use them at the moment.
Very nice destickering, very cool watch and a very cool location...
Thanks 🙏
I don’t pill the sticker... I let them come off by itself while using it
👍👏
Not a fan of watches, especially fancy watches, BUT once you put it on, wow it does look expensive AF!!! Definitely an eye catcher. Congrats!!
Cheers 👍
👏👏👍
How long did it take to get the watch, were you on a list for a while?
Not on a list. Walked into the AD and they had the SD 43 available. Cheers
@@MichaelBath any idea if they have other SD 43 available? thanks
Jechoniasus Lopez yesterday when I was there they had one.
@@MichaelBath can i contact you in your instagram? i will ask something in private.

😁😆 What Panerai ? Love the dial 👍
@@MichaelBathive had a couple Panerais but my fav is the 233!! cant wait to get the SD43 this week...thanks for the video
I love love that 126600! But gosh you should have taken off your ring. Im sure you gave it some hairline scratches before you even used it. Oh well.
I was being careful. It will get scratches anyway, adds life to the watch! Cheers
