The bracelet on the new sea dweller is also wider at the lugs which means it carries it's size and weight better than the SD deep see.

I own an Omega Seamaster but I’m incredibly jealous of anybody who owns this Rolex because it is so clearly superior to my cheaper Omega.

Just picked this up for a my birthday "2018, Rolex Sea-Dweller 43mm | No Crown | Red (Ref 126600). With that being said, I was very fortunate and did not have to pay premium over retail and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for the great review and keep up the great content!

I tried the new Sea Dweller and the new Sky Dweller with blue dial last weekend. The blue dial Sky Dweller Is a stunner, gorgeous dial.
It’s gorgeous, but the prices right now are ABSURD! I’ll buy one when the market settles down and they go back to more rational prices
I like the Cyclops
Did they ever consider placing the cyclops under the crystal rather than on top?. This is a nice watch. More presence than the old fart Subby. The same flat bland oyster bracelet with the half mile clasp and a protruding divers extension that doesn't sit behind the clasp as it should. It's a little heavy but not uncomfortable, a little tall but the case back sinks into the wrist to hide it's gurth somewhat. Rolex still struggles to integrate the case and bracelet as one, rather than looking like an unhappy marriage begging for a divorce. Maybe time to curve the lugs to hug the wrist too, a little like Oris and Seiko have for decades. Overall still one of Rolex s best.

Great watch...i find it actually compliments a sub in the collection. It’s just different enough to give a completely different feel of that makes sense
Archie, i was gifted a SD,, 2 yrs ago, it has a prohunter printed on the face, also it has ingraving and the bracelet has diamonds (1ct, tw on each link)total 10c tw the AD has no info, but all checked out,? To me its very heavy.

I've seen the damn watch in person and it's an instant classic. Purists will hate the cyclops but I think the watch is awesome. It's what the Deep Sea should've looked like. Like the Datejust 41 compared to the Datejust 2, Rolex got it right the 2nd time. Although buying a new DJ41 for $8.5-10k instead of picking up a mint DJ2 for anywhere from $6.5-7.8k for SS/18K models is a really dumb move.

Archie, the Sea Dweller 43 mm will fill the missing gap in your awesome watch collection. You need a diver big boy, and this new Rolex ticks all the boxes. Just get out the credit card......remember, it's not worth it if it doesn't hurt!!! The roof, curtains , carpet beetles, and condo can wait.........get that diver! Life is for living!!!

Technically Sergio is correct 😀 the Mk1 dial lasted a year before the introduction of a Mk2 dial. Swiss 👑 Made 👍🏻
