I dunno, I currently just moved to Maldraxxus on my leveling adventure, but Im actually on the side of the fallen angels (or whatever they called themselves in the english client I dont use). Erasing your memories might be a good thing for some, who had the "Guts experience" (Berserk), but for most people memories/experiences make the man, in a good way. E.g. you might have been a condecending asshole at some time in your life, but changed. Im not really into Bible stuff, but I guess everyone knows the Saulus to Paulus story. That basically means erasing your memory will make you being Saulus again. Well, lets see how this develops.
I'm sure she's gonna get some plot development later in the Kyrian campaign and that seems to be the core problem right now in their storytelling; Uther, Devos, Mueh'zala and Bwonsamdi and so many other characters barely get any developement in the leveling campaign and then when we hit 60 we solve all the major conflicts in dungeons and then have to wait weeks or months to see how they developed before that. That's so ass backwards. And I also agree that Devos shouldn't be killed off, at all, since she's clearly presented as such a sympathetic figure in the cutscene. Only reason why I would join Kyrian covenant (besides the owl companion thing) would be that it was lead by Devos who overthrew the complacent and delusional Archon.
the REAL important question is: are the Kyrian still DTF? or are they too religious? i mean, i'm just sayin', if they're still down, i might be a better person to end up there
If he is anywhere, I think he’d be in Revendreth. People who go there are redeemable souls who get to repent and get a second chance. Deathwing started out as good and noble person but got twisted along the way by an outside influence and made bad choices. Left to his own uncorrupt devices, he would’ve been fine. Revendreth would give him the chance to repent the screw ups and get sent somewhere else. Garrosh is very similar - he was a noble orc who got corrupt and he was sent to Revendreth too.
Soo sick of this part of the leveling. It just feels like such a tired trope. Something bad may be happening and the ones in charge knows and still somehow have the audacity to act surprised when shit hits the fan.. And im the one that have to clean it up.. All that aside. Loving your videos :) Keep it up
Jokes on them. We already know the path is the linear grind Blizzard has created and the NPCs are there to brain wash people into thinking it is content. I do want to know what red soul caused this grind though... Argus would be too cheap and easy.
It's still better than "Denathrius dropped a anima bomb into soulstream." Or even worse, maybe they'll reveal that it was in fact orchestrated by Sylvanas. That would be the ultimate letdown. Argus makes sense and I'll take sensible but predictable option any day over subversion for the sake of subversion. The most popular show of the last decade ruined its final season by doing that with every single important conclusion. And if it ends up being Argus, that offers some new interesting opportunities for the lore. Why did he die instead of returning to same place other Titans did? Is it because he ran out of titan juice? Or was it because he's often called Death Titan? What was his connection to Shadowlands and was that the reason why other Titans never woke him up? Did Team Jailer know that killing a Titan or specifically Argus could cause this? How? Did they lead Sargeras into making Argus his base of operation so that it would be one day destroyed by his enemies? I think the possibilities that solution offers vastly outweigh its predictability.
Monitor the words I guess he decided not to because when Uther came and destroyed it there’s really no one in site; I mean what kind of a military operation do you have to have to actually cover all the areas of your base how pathetic that again this is blizzard writing
Yeah, it's that similar plot convenience that they use all the time. There's no way to breach enemy faction's base expect when we need to rescue someone from their prison. The enemy faction leaders are always too weak to kill us even though in lore they could obliterate us (I'm looking you Tyrande and Malfurion.) Nobody in general ever tries to seriously kill us if there's no other NPC ready to rescue us. There's always some gadget, potion or spell that helps us do whatever the quest needs, no matter the task but they never come up again in the story. Two warring factions can never end the conflict on their own but we do that in less 10 quests, usually with tools that one of the factions has given to us but for some reason never used. It's really stupid, especially when there's easy ways to fix those errors. The guards in Kyrian base could have been on Team Forsworn and let Uther to pass through and that would have actually made perfect sense since Archon was so oblivious to the threat.
I get that Pelagos is a big victory for the trans WoW community and all, and is fine as a character otherwise, but holy heck is his (yes HIS not THEIR) voice acting bad. Julie Nathanson does a splendid job as Kleia though.

So why is it that everyone is so cool with a living person walking around if its unheard of? Ied expect far more of them to be like ""bloody hell how did you get here"" or ""what is a living creature doing here?"" But no there all fine with it.
I mean those who ascened not really hold any individuality and at least once or twice Kilia or Pelegos go ahead to talk with either hero rest or the temples.
Furthermore they are also meant to be peacefull and welcoming xD
How are they cool with it? They are literally talking about it every 5 seconds through all the zones.
Also they have prob seen a lot.
@@user-uq4gr5nl5o exactly, it's surprising, but they are still thousands of years old, of course they have restraint
Erisne was a Draenei then, right? Must've been.
Do you think that they're setting Kleia up to become the new paragon of loyalty when all this is over? She is surely dedicated enough. The way she helps us seems to put her on that path or at least in that direction.
"They love nothing more than to be of service, they get really depressed when they cant help out" Holy damn making those Slaveowner arguments Blizzard
I cringed when I first heard this.
Oh please, don’t even try that. They aren’t slaves, they are magical creatures born from a realm of service and selflessness. Plus, before the drought sealed the pathways, the Stewards could leave for other realms any time they wanted. Look up RSVP: Sika on Wowhead to see more on that. There’s also Stewards like Mikanikos who give orders to Kyrians.
Bottom line, don’t try to make this something it’s not.
@@H240909 I am sure it is what they all say when clear parallels exist but because it is fictional they have created a tiny technicality to avoid the obvious, like those anime pedos trying to excuse their perversion by saying ‘it is technically an 1000 year old anime girl that only happens to look like an underage child’
@@Ash-2449 Clear parallels? Yeah, last I checked, slaves don't get vacations. Where are your parallels now? Stop trying to politicize non-issues.
There's a big difference between free-willed people being enslaved by force and beings coalesced from magic enjoying servitude.
I feel like the kyrian are wrong and the forsworn are right
Do we know who Shrouded Figure is? Devos?
Honestly i would still ally with the foresworn than the kyrian, they are just so unlikable
You think The Locus Walker has anything to do with Bastion considering the locus quests and the short void invasion arc?
This comment isn’t linked to this video but the toy akunda firesticks does not work in the dungeon “De other side”

Jesus.. i was about to go to bed
I only stayed in this zone to finish the quests. Couldn't get out of there fast enough *shudder*
Dunno why but the voices of the brokers sound like Protoss to me.
What happened to Devos? Did she really died at Spires of Ascension? I had great expectation over her character development... :|
They just killed the best female character in Shadowlands.. what was they thinking ??

Thank you so much for the video. I'm only interested in lore so yeah you saved me 80 EUR for the expansion :)
When are you going to do the lore of the other covenants
the REAL important question is: are the Kyrian still DTF? or are they too religious? i mean, i'm just sayin', if they're still down, i might be a better person to end up there

@@Azmina_the_warlock I did my job ;)
I hate how every NPC in WoW has to be 20 feet tall
they arent in the lore but they do this in game so you can distinguish them from actual players
Trust and follow the path, this is the way 😅
its called brainwashing.... so sad.
one of the hand kyrians sounds like morgana from lol
Kyrian seem chaotic good?
Bastion was a pain to work though. Too bad that they force you into there when you're doing Chromie time for leveling. I hate going there.

"Pew pew pew pew, all the little flyers go bye!" This had me laughing way too much, love the additions in the CC's Nobbel
I wonder if death wing went to the maw
I think he was just erased from existence.
So the kyrian are basically greek scientology angels
yeah angels of death and psychopomps.
Can you refuse to join the kyrian?
How did you get those Black Dragon wings :O
that's the proc effect from Wrathion's trinket earned in nyalotha

I hope Devos is redeemed
I'll come back to this game when they no longer have allied races locked behind soulsucking grinds. Stupid ass dev decisions
What a confusing story!
So sad still that we don’t get Devos as a waifu
Soo sick of this part of the leveling. It just feels like such a tired trope. Something bad may be happening and the ones in charge knows and still somehow have the audacity to act surprised when shit hits the fan.. And im the one that have to clean it up..
All that aside. Loving your videos :) Keep it up
I hear Michelle Fairley... is that her???
Such retcon, much wow... The writers should go to 4th grade.
It's funny that my first bastion Character is a Demon Hunter
Me getting into Bastion: Bruh I’m not dead! I don’t even wanna be a Kyrian anyway! I’d like to keep my memories please...
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I Think everyone forgets who they were eventually not only the Kyrians
Doesn’t seem to happen in the other realms. Draka knows who she is and souls you quest with in the other 2 realms also remember
You wouldn't be sent to Bastion in the first place if that's your opinion of it.
I'd rather go to the maw than Bastion XD
Why the hack you use a SHOVEL?!

So prople of azeroth, who are more or less free, dir and become slaves of a faction the arbiter decides on hmm.

The story of Bastion aka LaLaLa I'm not listening LaLaLa
I get that Pelagos is a big victory for the trans WoW community and all, and is fine as a character otherwise, but holy heck is his (yes HIS not THEIR) voice acting bad. Julie Nathanson does a splendid job as Kleia though.
