I *really* like what they are doing with Tyrande's design. Her skin *is* the night, stars and all! It's so beautiful! Not to mention it fits someone who is Elune-empowered.
Night warrior plot is kinda pointless as much as I love Tyrande lol. But the art, as always, has been carrying WoW for a long time along with the music.

I love Bolvar's Voice actor. In the intro to the SL when we had to use the helm to open up a path to the SL, HIS voice was so amazing, it makes me want to create a death knight.

My take is that Elune invested so much in Tyrande that she would not let her go, not in this fashion and not when Jailer is claiming every soul - for Tyrande is to go one day to Ardenweald and be reborn, not to rot in the Maw. And Sylvanas had a tough time with her.
I was thinking that it was because she was in ardenweald, a domain opposite of hers. Her sister's realm, and she can't properly reach it. Whether it's because it's a realm of death, or because they've made a pact to not intrude on each other's turf.
First the Jailer abandons Denathrius, then it turns out he is hiding Nathanos from Sylvanas. After the raid, he will reveal he never cared about her goal of freeing everyone from the hand of fate, and leave her at our mercy, while he executes his plan. Sylvanas has been his pawn all along, just as Anduin said. We will probably take her captive and bring her to Revendreth for atonement.
I've never looked in the chamber of the arbiter closely before but man, there are a LOT of floating platforms in the background. I draw a comparison to the senate scenes from star wars.

Okay so how exactly did the maw go from “no one can escape” to “okay some maw infused things can escape like shadowmourne (was it ferryed out by someone or something?) and for some reason the player character who (for whatever reason has special anima) and now it’s like literally anyone can leave the Maw? Sylvanas can come and go as she pleases. Tyrande clearly can as well. Every Mawsworn can. Wtf? Is this a result of denathrius’s doing? When exactly did this change happen?
The dread lords took shadowmourne out of the maw, possibly under the orders of the sire. As for why others can now leave, I'd chalk it up to how much the maw has grown. The barrier holding everything in has weakened because of the influx of anima, that's my theory anyways
As for Sylvanas and the mawsworn my guess is they can leave because the Jailer lets them leave, same with Shadowmourne since it was a part of the Jailer's plan. No clue on how Tyrande was able to escape the Maw without our help maybe taking advantage of that portal Sylvanas used to bring that thing through.

It’s not his purpose-filled realm like the archon and bastion or the winter queen and ardenweald. He was banished there. Punished. How could he LET people leave if he can’t even escape himself? This is setting up a Sylvannas redemption isn't. FFS, why can't they just let some of the villains be villains. Sure on a surface level it seemingly adds depth to a character, but not when it keeps happening to so many of the major villains.
I think the thing you missed in your reaction video was Tyrande saying "My life for hers.." in Darnassian. It wasn't shown on the leak. I think Elune has other plans for Tyrande, which is why she forsake her when she was about to take Sylvanas' head. I don't think Tyrande will die as the Night Warrior, as the others have. I think Elune wants Tyrande to be her champion forever, since Tyrande has always been for Elune in the past.

In my headcanon, my blood elf paladin took the Ashbringer to the Sunwell, dipped it in its Light- infused waters, and it was reborn as the "Sunbringer". He wielded the Sunbringer throughout BfA and after entering the Shadowlands. Currently, Althran is wielding an anima- powered Venthyr blade Prince Renathal gifted him after Denathrius' defeat. Althran named it "Purgatory", and has sworn to bring down Sylvanas with it.
So Anduin is becoming WoW’s Kyle Rayner - he’s handled three of the cosmic forces so far (light, void and now death), and will likely handle the rest in turn so that he can be the new Green Jesus-esk character that will save us from some ultimate big bad a few expansions down the line. Tbf, fel (disorder) Anduin could look awesome.
About the book, Nobbel! It's likely printing is backlogged, due to Covid everything has had multiple delays. However, you might be right too, it might have spoilers and they might not want to release it.
Even if pushing the date back for the novel at least we’re still getting it. And I applaud sylvanas for trying to fight tyrande in her night warrior form head on even with the obvious power gap.

I dunno, personally I hope that the Jailer IS NOT just a generic bad guy again for the sake of being evil... When I played the story and saw the power of Elune fade from Tyrande I thought that MAYBE Elune and the Jailer made some sort of deal which included Sylvanas, or Sylvanas made a deal with Elune and therefore she can’t be killing her own spy ... would also explain why Elune just let the burning of Teldrassil happen when she could very well have stopped it. Sylvanas said “bask in the dying embers of YOUR GODDESSES BARGAIN” … I mean.... what bargain??? Decent? She’s pretty much been an evil character since Cata, where she decided to continue researching The Blight despite Thrall and Garrosh forbidding it. If anything it was pretty obvious she was going to be a bad guy

My biggest complaint is how robotically Deathknight Anduin acts is my least favorite part of all of this, I would have much more enjoyed Anduin to have more lines that made him seem more like himself but just Arthas’d. What made Arthas so compelling is that there was a slow degradation of his character until his soul was finally claimed by frostmourne and even before that, he still had a personality, I think Death Knight arthas is one of my favorite characters in all of WoW. It’s dramatic and even funny at times at how annoyed he sounds at every inconvenience.
There is no reason for Anduin to act like that though. Anduin is not converting naturally from corruption or personal choice. He is literally being turned into a puppet. Like his every movement is being controlled and his thoughts. I don’t disagree it would be cool, but there’s no reason for it. It’s two totally different scenarios

I feel like the only reason why Tyrande couldn't kill her is that Blizz wanted to make more money by having her as a raid boss. At this point, every last decision made by Blizzard is made with the monetary gain in mind. They really don't have any authenticity any more, and watching these badly written cutscenes where there isn't even any lip-sync to the voices is just another example of their extreme focus on saving money. Sad I wasted $20 on resubbing to 9.1. I knew it was going to be a mistake but i got too drunk last night and hit the resub button. Today I am doing the walk of shame once again thinking to myself "This ole girl ain't what she used to be". They can't even get their cut scenes right anymore. The animation and voice acting is absolutely dogshit. Jaina's facial expressions should tell everyone about the effort being put into the game as a whole. WoW is deader than it's ever been.

When I played the story and saw the power of Elune fade from Tyrande I thought that MAYBE Elune and the Jailer made some sort of deal which included Sylvanas, or Sylvanas made a deal with Elune and therefore she can’t be killing her own spy ... would also explain why Elune just let the burning of Teldrassil happen when she could very well have stopped it.
Sylvanas said “bask in the dying embers of YOUR GODDESSES BARGAIN” … I mean.... what bargain???
In the end i hope that maybe it’s a VERY grey area we are in because the way the story panned out so far does make me think that the other Eternal Ones are not as pure and good as they claim to be… I mean, in the end, all we hear about is “THE PURPOSE” … this almighty purpose everywhere is starting to piss me off

One of the more irritating things Blizzard has been doing recently is having the characters just materialize weapons out of thin air.
If you aren’t a loyalist aka alliance and wait for the countdown to end from the sylvanas debuff she says you are wise to hold back but it changes nothing, definitely cool, not attacking an actually decent character compared to all the other goody 2 shoes caricatures we have in WoW
Decent? She’s pretty much been an evil character since Cata, where she decided to continue researching The Blight despite Thrall and Garrosh forbidding it.
If anything it was pretty obvious she was going to be a bad guy

Sylvanas has been the only character in WoW that actually had plans and schemes and knew a lot more than she said, she was the ONLY intelligent warchief the horde ever got considering all the rest were brainless goody 2 shoes or an emotional angry racist who wanted to take over the world to deal with his daddy issues and insecurities.

That in-game facial animation on Sylvanus is a bit rough. And to be honest Sylvanus just sounds bored.
My biggest complaint is how robotically Deathknight Anduin acts is my least favorite part of all of this, I would have much more enjoyed Anduin to have more lines that made him seem more like himself but just Arthas’d. What made Arthas so compelling is that there was a slow degradation of his character until his soul was finally claimed by frostmourne and even before that, he still had a personality, I think Death Knight arthas is one of my favorite characters in all of WoW. It’s dramatic and even funny at times at how annoyed he sounds at every inconvenience.
There is no reason for Anduin to act like that though. Anduin is not converting naturally from corruption or personal choice. He is literally being turned into a puppet. Like his every movement is being controlled and his thoughts.
I don’t disagree it would be cool, but there’s no reason for it. It’s two totally different scenarios

I never bought the whole Sylvanas/Nathanos dynamic as anything more than one sided on his part.

I feel like the only reason why Tyrande couldn't kill her is that Blizz wanted to make more money by having her as a raid boss. At this point, every last decision made by Blizzard is made with the monetary gain in mind. They really don't have any authenticity any more, and watching these badly written cutscenes where there isn't even any lip-sync to the voices is just another example of their extreme focus on saving money. Sad I wasted $20 on resubbing to 9.1. I knew it was going to be a mistake but i got too drunk last night and hit the resub button.
Today I am doing the walk of shame once again thinking to myself "This ole girl ain't what she used to be".
They can't even get their cut scenes right anymore. The animation and voice acting is absolutely dogshit. Jaina's facial expressions should tell everyone about the effort being put into the game as a whole. WoW is deader than it's ever been.
WoW is far from dead, tis still one of the most played mmorpgs out there...
I've not played wow in years but.. Wtf has happened to the game. It seems like a parody now. So lazy and cringey...
