Yeah he’s beauty! I hear you about getting him right. Still cobbling my guy together after three years. His outfit is from the Destro that came out in 1993(?) 12 inch collection. I got rid of all the rubber shoulder wing tips, bought a Aliexpress super muscle body (as his bod should be), researched the closest chest family jewel, etc. It’s Destro. Character deserves the respect to detail. He’s even (eventually) going to have the original backpack. It seems a lot of peeps have taken a step away from Hasbro’s weak and expensive offerings and said: Look what we can do better for the same money!✌️🤘🇨🇦
I bought Destro, Snakeeyes and Storm shadow. Passed on Roadblock because of his height. Still an amazing figure but his height bothered me too much. Love the others though. I have Firefly on preorder to.
My problem with the Mezcos is they all look chunky with squat legs. I really wish Classified would release a Destro with more of an iron mask feel like Mezco had here.
That's cool you let your daughter play with this figure. But I don't think they're in there having tea parties and playing house. She's more likely brokering a weapons deal between Destro and Tyrannical Barbie. Something about a power struggle between Barbie and monster high. My daughter's the same but she uses my Motu figures has Barbie's personal hit team.
Nice. My daughter tends to use GI joe characters as more suitable partners than Ken. Ken mostly gets sick and Dr. Barbie has to give him "Butt shots" So my therapy bills will be high for this kid someday
It's hard to see the details on the figure. The lighting is dark and the fire background is too overwhelming. I wish you could show the figure against a white background so I can see the figure better.
Destro is not my guy. I like him, and appreciate why you like him. But this review gives me a good indication of what to expect from the Firefly, who is my guy, Cobra wise.
@@DestroIsMySpiritAnimal Partly it is the gray camo and partly it is that as a kid it was the first time I heard, "saboteur" and I thought that was the coolest villain job. Can't argue with Destro or Zartan, both solid choices.

I think his legs look good. His arms are a bit weird, and there are a few issues with him, but overall he is beautiful
My son's actual name is "Destro " I named my son Destro after my favorite "G.I. Joe " my son's name is Destro Muñoz

I get that. I'd go Destro #1, Zartan #2, then Firefly. Sp Firefly would be pretty high on everybody's list. The Mezco Firefly figure does look great

Those Mezco arent cheap but very very impressive
