The media tricked you bro, Biden isn't ending the war, he's forcing the Taliban to attack to keep the war going that Trump ended.

      "Nakamoto stated that work on the writing of the code for bitcoin began in 2007" in 2007 Sergey Nazarov was +-18 years old, although I believe him to be extremely smart I don't believe that he had enough years of coding experience in his belt at that point in time to have invented bitcoin. When you read the cynicism in some of Satoshi's writings / comments you can easily see he is a very well seasoned developer with many years of coding and life experience in his belt even in 2007-2010. My guess is that in 2007 Satoshi (if he was even one person ;) ) would have been in at least his thirties...

      @@BernardVisagie smartcontract.com is the landing domain page for what is now known as chainlink's smart contract page, the domain was registered the 25th of October in 2008. The first email announcing the BTC whitepaper, sent out by Satoshi was released the 31st of October in 2008. So, six days before announcing bitcoin to the public, the domain for chainlink was registered and secured. A few weeks later Satoshi left to work on other projects...
      so even if the claim that Sergey may be satoshi isn't true, chainlink was in the works at this time which negates your baseless claim he did not have enough experience coding at age 18. You should look into the evidence supporting the claim that he's satoshi before denying it based on your "feelings" or a "guess". Theres a lot more evidence than what i've laid out here it isn't just a hunch people have.

    • @BernardVisagie
      @BernardVisagie 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tekenefigueira6899 Do you agree that the domain Chain link could have had a different purpose in 2008? This is circumstantial evidence at it's best, carry on with your delusion, it does not bother me :)

      @@BernardVisagie ?? smartcontract.com was registered by sergey, he later changed the name to chainlink as it stands today, buts its the same thing (this is one amongst a body of other details)...first off, i'm not saying that sergey is or isn't satoshi, what I am saying is that the best argument i've ever heard concludes with sergey. and theres a body of evidence, of which i can tell you've never bothered to actually look into.
      and what I was only pointing out was that your statement he was too young to be developing in this space, is false b/c he was working on chainlink as early as 2008, highlighting that you were speaking out of your ass or your emotion however you want to put it.
      you seem to assume you know Satoshi's age and what his overall temperament and skill set is but yet i'm somehow disillusioned...okay

    > When you read articles about financial freedom, you may hear people talk over and over again about how they spend next to nothing to be able to retire at a younger age like 30. Instead, they may have already achieved financial freedom and boast about how frugal they were in order to retire well before the typical retirement age.

    • @Aless.D
      @Aless.D ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Planning for retirement, or even financial freedom, is a marathon and not a race, as the saying goes. Breaking your financial independence goals into small pieces can help you stay on track while making the process a little more manageable and hopefully a little less stressful. Even if you are starting small, the important thing is to start.

    Lex, the arguments in Jiu Jitsu about clarifying the rules are the attempts to minimize reference to oracle equivalents so that the game can be played to its natural boundary. The game of Jiu Jitsu is one of the best trust building technologies on the organism level of analysis, where identity is known and persistent. The belt system functions like signaling hierarchy for validator nodes. Hence why a black belt visiting another school is not only expected to meet a technical level of skill but also to align their behavior as they would want it to reflect on their instructor / lineage.

    Here are the key ideas/definitions I've written down from the first hour of this video:
    Decentralized finance is the instantiation of a specific type of smart contract.
    A hybrid smart contract combines the on-chain code together with the off-chain proofs.
    Decentralized finance provides 3 very powerful things:
    1) Complete transparency over the financial protocol where your assets are
    2) You control your assets and not a third party
    3) Superior Yield
    Decentralized finance gives people features without taking data and ownership of value from them.
    A smart contract is a tamper-proof digital agreement that can know things about the world.
    The smart contract is on-chain, this is where the conditions are written. On-chain code is transparent, can receive, hold and send value. The on-chain part of a hybrid smart contract 1) defines the agreement 2) takes in value 3) returns value based upon the conditions codified in the agreement on the blockchain.
    The 2nd part of the contract is off-chain. Oracles and decentralized oracle networks achieve consensus and decentralization about the topic of what happened.
    An oracle node is an interface of web 3.0 use of services.

      @@fivegkills6111 um, that's not really been my experience with regulations and regulators. It would be nice if that was the case, but my universal experience has been that regulation almost invariably increases the complexity and difficulty of a system. If a market gets large enough, then you run into problems like regulatory capture where the largest businesses in a space exert so much control that they are able to shape the regulations being written to favor themselves over smaller/newer/more innovative competition.

    Chainlink is so far ahead of anyone when it comes to the oracle problem and using blockchain to its full potential, that it’s almost inevitable that it’s going to be something used on a massive world changing scale.
    Someone on /biz/ explained it best when they said companies trying to build their own oracle networks instead of using Chainlink would be like Amazon building their own airplanes and vehicles for logistics instead of buying Boeing jets or Dodge vans.

    • @anwiii55
      @anwiii55 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i agree. chainlink isn't mining for gold but selling the equipment to everyone who wants to mine for gold. chainlink is definately going to be a top runner in creating a global standard in providing the services needed and the communication needed for the oracles and smart contracts. still too early to tell but we will surely be more confident where things are going in another 5 years where the technology has a chance to start booming at a monumental pace just like the internet did in the 90's. we don't see this type of technology that is able to transform on a global scale but once every 30-40 years or so. bitcoin and the blockchain is like seeing the internet in the 80's and the early adoption. we are just now seeing what was saw in the early 90's of the internet. it's going to be interesting to see what happens 10 years from now because of what we saw with internet technology at the .com bubble. i expect to see the same in another 10 years to weed out the weakest so the strongest survive. which would also be another best time to invest if we see history repeat itself.

      It has a huge potential, he highlights this market with reason. I have a friend in Zimbabwe and he says this is exactly how it works. Insurance is either unavailable, expensive and/or corrupt, so many farmers choose to just not get any and risk it all. The population of the whole of the African continent will go substantially, way before corruption and poor management will have lowered to acceptable levels, so this kind of a financial freedom enabled by crypto, not only asset storage/transaction-wise but also insurance-wise, is going to be enormous.
