    People are getting upset that Sergey didn’t say much, I disagree with them. This was Erics moment to shine and his first real exposure to the Chainlink project. This was meant to be a talk where he could share his views and opinions.

    What an interesting dynamic these two. Eric intuitively understands the the industry in a way Sergey can’t right now because of Sergey’s lack of experience. Yet, Sergey intuitively understands Web 3’s potential in a way Eric cannot. I hope these two have discussions like this often for the sake of Chainlink. I’m very excited to see how all of this unfolds.

      i don't think so, i think he just respects his education and experience. Sergey has talked enough about his own platform and the space, it was time for him - and us - to learn and hear from someone else when it comes to the future and broad adoption of the space. this is what needs to happen.

      i mean its frickin Eric Schmidt, anyone would be intimidated haha

    • @Diana-dh3rc
      @Diana-dh3rc ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Eric was simply saying banal things that Sergey already thought long and hard about and it doesn't seem like a huge discovery because he had thought of it and built the company based on his beliefs already and Eric is catching up. There was no intimidation whatsoever. He was just trying not to be rude and things that Eric was saying were a huge deal - yes, they might need to be marketed better - but Sergey wants to see them working before doing wide PR. That's the difference.

    • @w.o.jackson8432
      @w.o.jackson8432 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Diana-dh3rc "but Sergey wants to see them working before doing wide PR"
      That's absolutely not true, they've had a CMO the entire time, they've had conferences specifically for talking about how Chainlink fits into everything, they go to other conferences, they actively post on a variety of socials, Sergey goes on CNBC International, he goes on SWIFT TV or whatever it's called. Sergey does a LOT of PR, he is just bad at doing it and can't make a conversation flow with someone who is extolling the virtues of his own company but might be a little bit behind the curve. Instead of constantly saying "yeah that makes sense," why not say "yes, you are absolutely right, and to go even further..." He is just bad at speaking when someone else with big dick energy is on stage taking up the attention.
