I have been kitty crazy all my life and have loved everyone of them. However, every now and then, an extra special kitty will come into our lives. I have only had a few in 70 yrs. But your precious Luna was one of them. It make the loss so much greater and harder to bear. She truly was a magic cat 💫
Oh dang the Winds!!! A soon as I saw the title I got excited. Made the trek there from Texas every summer for more than a decade. Recognized all those spots. Started going there when I was a climber, kept going there for the fish. Best golden trout fishing in the world. Been messing around with some Wind River footage from a couple of years ago, I guess I'll have to finish it up now. ❤
Thank you! These last three episodes it finally felt like our vision and the finished product were finally on the same level. We're excited for the rest!
Oh my, everything I’ve heard and seen previously about the Wind River Range doesn’t do them justice! Those sunset stills are to die for. Another exceptional video
While the world froze in isolation... you guys lived a dream, somehow while also in isolation! Beautiful as always! Owen has the best shorts! Send my regards! Cheers to another fantastic film! 🍻🍻
Great footage! Subbed! Viewers should note that you're in thick Brown Bear, Wolf(lots)and Cougar territory anywhere from the woodlines down. Matter of fact, where you parked the camper vans is prime Grizzly area. You would have caught plenty of fish if this was in July. We are doing a 3 week expedition from Gannett Peak northward in the range starting early/mid July. Could use help filming. We have all the equipment. Open invite!
I miss camping so much, I haven't been able to since 2019 when I attended the Rocky Mountain Overland Rally in Colorado. Driving from Canada through Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, South/North Dakota - camping away from everything, no cell service, open skies, cooking by camp fire nice cold beer....Watching your videos brings back a sense of normalcy, then the video ends and...oh well things will get better soon.
Beautiful area to hike and camp and to climb a 13er. Glad everything turned out OK on the climb. Afternoon storms can really be dangerous especially with lightning. Climbed about 37 14ers in Colo. and always tried to get done summiting by 12noon and then get off, but sometimes they arrive a little early. I always pack for rain/snow, and extreme cold with a Gortex double bivy just in case to survive an unavoidable overnighter. Extra weight but safer. The reward is the food at the end of the day and relaxing with friends. Love your video footage!
That isn't a bad idea. We now have a policy where everyone takes a full winter layer now too. Better to have it and not use it than be caught without it again!
Nice adventure! Sometimes you can do everything correct above tree line, and the weather will still catch you out. Been there, and lightning on a rocky peak is stressful!
I love your videos and stories. I live in the area and know how amazing a life I have. You are also very honest and give great information about the areas, and parks that you cover. Look forward to more.
Wow..wow!!! Loved this video! Awesome job!! I have never backpacked but I want to backpack the Wind River Range. Sorry about your drone loss and bad food experience. Awesome adventure!!!
i love your series so much!! it would be really helpful to have a "DATE FILMED" listed in the description, just so we know when you were at each place! 🥰 🙏🏼
Love your commentary on your videos. Your words paint great pictures and your videos are always top notch. Already looking forward to your next destination! Oh and after a hike you guys had either Snicker bar would taste great.
Loving this series. As a mountain safety nerd I was surprised that you all decided to take shelter instead of hauling butt down. Lightning travels through rock, and you didn’t have the equipment to stay warm and dry. After the fact do you think that was the right call?
I enjoyed your video! Our family has been going to the Wind Rivers and the Green River Lakes since the 1940's. I made a video describing my family's history with this beautiful area of the world.
Pinedale is a real gem, isn’t it? And the Wind River Range...Farson, the Oregon Trail. So much to see and do. Luckily it’s hard to get to so the crowds are small.
Drone loss... you know, I told a friend once to super glue a tile (thetileapp.com) to his drone for that very reason. He told me it worked and that he found his drone stuck in a tree in the woods of his neighbor down the road. Drone just went rogue and kept flying a mile or so further before hitting a tree. If yours took a dive in the water though... its gone. Bummer.
Did you know there are archaeological sites North of Gannett Peak? We will be looking for more sites with drones while not walking in those areas. What type of drone did you lose?
Nice video. If you dont have a fishing license you should hide your gear inside your pack. If a ranger stops you he will ask to see one and you could get a nice fine.
I've got a newbie question. First time I've seen one of your videos(just googled "wind river range" backpacking). I saw you guys have a cat. Now you're off backpacking and you live in van? So what do you do with the cat?
Stunning Wind River Range- just beautiful.
The views just don't quit!

I'm going here in two weeks! The Winds are so beautiful.
We miss them dearly
This is fast becoming my favorite channel
Love the Winds, Green River Lakes along the Continental Divide Trail, watching Flat top appear out of the fog.
Flat top is so iconic. we love that whole area so much. We want to summit Flat Top one of these days!
What a fantastic series! Thank you guys so much!
Awww well thank you for watching!
Pure gold 🙏
Perfect with Sunday morning coffee ☕️ 🗻🌄 Thank you!
It was an accident that it rolled out that early, but we're glad we could be apart of your coffee date!
Drone was self aware and wanted to enjoy the sunset more.
skynet has become active
Never send a drone to a more beautiful setting or it may decide to never come back. 😪
Best video so far. Editing, pacing and felt "inclusive". Well done.
Thank you! These last three episodes it finally felt like our vision and the finished product were finally on the same level. We're excited for the rest!
In the mountains, always take one more clothing layer than you expect to need. Never leave home w/o a waterproof shell.
Amazing, breathtaking ......thank you for taking me to places I probably will not get to see except through your lens........I feel blessed.
It's an honor to have you along for the ride!
Beautiful, well done!
Alll the photos and video are awesome-as usual-but that Sunset Time Lapse was a real standout. Wow!
Special adventure - The Winds are jaw dropping awe and wonder fullness. Be well. -ll
The Wind River Range has been on our list for a long time. It's nice to see it! Glad you made it back down safely.
Us too! We were so excited to finally make it happen!
Reminds me of why I love backpacking. The beauty, the challenge, even dealing with the danger. Felt like I was there with you. Thanks guys.
Thank you for sharing. The Pinedale area is my favorite. You've just reminded me that I need to do a road trip from Colorado. Be safe out there
Oh my, everything I’ve heard and seen previously about the Wind River Range doesn’t do them justice! Those sunset stills are to die for. Another exceptional video
We are enjoying the Summer series 👍 Thanks for sharing your travels.
Wow!! Just outstanding!!
Thank you so much!

What a beautiful place, cheers for sharing your travels:D
Premium footage. Lover to see that backpacking gear in action.
2 cameras down, "camp trots", AND a high elevation lightning storm?!? I'd say you earned that burger. Excellent narration, as always. 👍
Love following along!
Thank you so much!
Love this! Living vicariously through you until this can be my life 😂
This is such a good series!!! Thank you for putting in the effort to create this. They just keep getting better.
We appreciate you being here to enjoy it! It's been a joy to put together
Great footage! Subbed!

Good friends, good food, beautiful locations... Living the dream :)
Thank you! We are happy we get to share it!

I've really been enjoying the series. Well done!
Thank you so much!
I love that she calls him out on that poor form of a push up!
Wonderful hike, but I am going to have to call you out on this one: A peanut butter snicker is good, but will never be better than the original!
HAHA! Agree to disagree. I've eaten a lot of @snikers in my day and I think the PB wins every time in my book
Nice adventure! Sometimes you can do everything correct above tree line, and the weather will still catch you out. Been there, and lightning on a rocky peak is stressful!
this one is my favorite episode! the views!! wow! great job!
I love your videos and stories. I live in the area and know how amazing a life I have. You are also very honest and give great information about the areas, and parks that you cover. Look forward to more.
Thank you so much! We are so smitten with that area!
Awesome guys! Beautiful hike what an adventure!
We love the Winds - from Wisco and have been going there for over 30 years...
WOW!! What a beautiful place!! Wish I had the time and money to see places like this before I die. Congratulations on your achievement!🙏
Super video! I applauded for $5.00 👏👏
Prob the coolest channel on TH-cam! Congrats!
You are too generous!
Wow..wow!!! Loved this video! Awesome job!! I have never backpacked but I want to backpack the Wind River Range. Sorry about your drone loss and bad food experience. Awesome adventure!!!
Thank you so much. We really enjoyed this video too!
#VanLife is so 2020. 2021 is all about #LlamaLife!🦙🦙🦙🦙😆
RIGHT?! I was like wait a min. How do we get to hang out with you guys?!
@@BoundForNowhere lol You gotta get Luna one of those back packs.😁
i love your series so much!! it would be really helpful to have a "DATE FILMED" listed in the description, just so we know when you were at each place! 🥰 🙏🏼
Nice summit. 👍 Great series.
I agree that the peanut butter snickers is the best.
Love your commentary on your videos. Your words paint great pictures and your videos are always top notch. Already looking forward to your next destination! Oh and after a hike you guys had either Snicker bar would taste great.
Love your adventures

Amazing hikes...double edge sword returning to regular life and realizing its no longer enough....😏
Oh for sure! We're slowly getting better at giving ourselves enough time in the BC
I enjoyed your video! Our family has been going to the Wind Rivers and the Green River Lakes since the 1940's. I made a video describing my family's history with this beautiful area of the world.
23:48 I like the way you are ravaging that Burger-i find that pleasurable to watch
That drone said "bye Felicia"
1500 feet in half a mile. 😳 Living the high life. 🤩
Pinedale is a real gem, isn’t it? And the Wind River Range...Farson, the Oregon Trail. So much to see and do. Luckily it’s hard to get to so the crowds are small.
Still a fan of the original snicker 😁🤙
HAH! I didn't realize there were so many passionate snicker eaters out there!

at 24:00 looks like the Absaroka Range north of Dubois.
Nice video. If you dont have a fishing license you should hide your gear inside your pack. If a ranger stops you he will ask to see one and you could get a nice fine.
We always have a fishing license
My BFN fix :)
did you leave equipment at basecamp? tent and what not?
Where was the lake that yall camped at before you hiked the mountain??
I've got a newbie question. First time I've seen one of your videos(just googled "wind river range" backpacking). I saw you guys have a cat. Now you're off backpacking and you live in van? So what do you do with the cat?
Blue 👌
Nice
yay made it here early! :)
Last time I was this early, I made a bad joke about being early!
Looks like Richard Ramirez grew a mustache.
“Arby’s we have the meats”
I think the unpleasant bathroom experiences could be considered fondue.
HAHAHHAHA exactly
23:48 YUM
I’m still wondering, do you guys need like a permit to camp at those places? Because I thought it is not allowed to go wild camping, right? So curious
No permits needed in the Winds.
Who makes your hat?
CAZYYYY
Posted 1 min ago!
8:40 = Valhalla
is luna a siberian?
Honestly, we have no idea... we got her for free off craigslist
@@BoundForNowhere you are sooo lucky. She is great!
We’re they trying to make this for stoners? It worked
It would be great to hear a different voice .
Deep fried steak?..🤢
You'd be suprised!
Super video! I applauded for $5.00 👏👏
