Guys the song The PHANTOM OF THE OPERA by Nightwish is a version of the original song by Andrew Lloyd from 1986 and the song EUROPA by Mónica Naranjo is totally original in everything, in all the notes of the music composed by Mónica Naranjo, in the lyrics , in the theme and also in the way of singing and interpreting the song 😜 They are similar only in that both are from the Rock Opera genre and Nightwis has not invented the Rock Opera style....! The voices and the way of singing of Mónica Naranjo and Floor Jansen are even less alike since Mónica has a more powerful chest and mixed voice with greater resonance and with much more variety of colors and different voice textures, Mónica is a singer more versatile. Floor has a better head voice reaching higher notes and with more agility in her high register....!
This performance by Monia Naranjo was the one that made me want to meet her. It's a song about the second world war in Europe, and it also tells a story of a great singer, maybe her. It is a very original song, and it has an air of tango, but with touches of electronic rock opera. It really is a wonderful song. It is very difficult to meet Monica, since she sings pop, rock, lyrical... She is very versatile, she is very good, out of the ordinary. Incluso sin siquiera haber nacido en EEUU en su caso, ya que renunció precísamente a todo eso por poder controlar al completo su vida personal y sobretodo musical. De lo contrario lo hubiera sido porque le ofrecieron vender su alma al "Diablo" a cambio como tantos otros artistas mundiales si hicieron y por eso es que están ahí en lo más arriba. Has that Nightwish feel to it for sure and it kinda sounds like Phantom of the Opera in some parts. This was the best performance so far I think also, big time. I really like the rock Opera sound better, as just the opera sound. I want to hear more from them, yes.

It also seems that Monica does a bit of the role of the opera diva Maria Callas! The song is a warning that what happened in Europe and triggered the second world war could happen again :( but it also leaves the message that Europe will be reborn from its ashes as it did before and as Monica herself did Naranjo after deciding to retire from music for 6 years to escape the control that his record company exerted over his work and came back better than ever in 2008 with this song and his album Tarantula :)
