1960 chevrolet el camino dinky toys diecast restoration

I have just stripped one of these - day before yesterday - so your video is timely. I used the Martin Dare method of releasing the interior glass, but with a heated-up school pencil, with the rubber removed: the ferrule is quite capable of melting through the plastic and sealing any cracks. We'll see, in due course, how many pencils are needed, but they have the advantage of being largely wood, so you can handle the end bit more comfortably. I have the base Code3 cream down, but am undecided on finishing.
I like your version - though I will be going silver and chrome on the brightwork, and had a B-post repair to do - the metallic orange is very So-Cal, so perfectly in keeping with the new rims. Great job!

Excelente trabajo, es una maravilla ver como trabajas con lijas al agua y limas la carrocería para rescatar y destacar los rasgos de la parrilla y los flancos delanteros. La pintura quedó hermosa también. Otro bello modelo a escala de Dinky que recupera su brillo y vuelve a encantarnos.
