It astounds me how this organisation, who the tax payers of the UK are forced to pay for, feel that its not acceptable for the public to freely scrutinise them and to get evidence of how they spend the money given their way.

Love it the way they turn it around that you are being confrontational, but if you look at it logically they are the ones being confrontational!!! If they come out and see you are filming, that should be enough. Being there has been a memo from Senior Police Officers saying what should be done with photographers and they should be left alone. They come out mod handed then not tell you they are filming, even though it’s in there policy. I think you are able to see that they are very selective about what the law is and how it should be applied. Also as soon as you show them up for not keeping to their policies they in turn get confrontational, because they don’t like being shown up, that when they get vindictive and then try to arrest you to get back at you.
Sad thing is they are being given more powers and this is only going to get worse 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

LITERALLY seconds later the gestapo arrive to quiz members of the public during a lawful activity. Its priceless. Job center guy was sound.

“Terrorism is a big thing isn’t it” !! Err no, it isn’t. In fact a British police station has never been attacked by a Terrorist.
Then, ask them to define “Terrorism” as per the 2002 Act, they WILL get it all wrong.
And remember, it’s GDPR LAW that they advice you of recording, not just ‘guidelines’ or ‘police policy’.

12mins in you mentioned the independent witness (the camera) and Popo replied 'I'm recording too, mine can't be edited', so why do they have an editing suite to chop and change their videos to suit self ?

The only way you can get around this is to apply for the bodycam footage yourself, but that doesn't mean you'll be able be able view it in court.
The videos get edited down to whatever they deem suitable for a prosecution case

I’m sure if three men tried running through those gate, a little lady in a uniform wouldn’t provide much resistance. She’d just be ironed out like a pair of trousers in a steam press. She was too spiteful to put the blue lights on for the Little children with runny noses and holes in their shoes. It’s a shame ay it?

    This commentary “alright ladies” 🤣🤣
They always use the “vulnerable people” or the “victims” card & “They don’t want to be filmed” etc Yet they fail to realise with or without people auditing their always being recorded. Let’s be honest the real question is why don’t they want the stations to be filmed? Granted the debate for “security reasons” is somewhat understandable. However if you look at the history of police stations being “attacked” in the uk, there isn’t any from my knowledge. Yes officers have been but that’s a completely different issue entirely.

As far as I can tell the last bombing attempt of a police station on the British mainland was by the Angry Brigade in 1970. Even then the bomb was discovered before it went off. Their paranoia is misplaced.

I remember the days when if you where a victim of crime, the police used to come to see you. Also we used to have police on the beat getting useful information of the public, also the very visual presence of the police used to deter crime not now sadly. Same as trying to get an ambulance in Manchester 6 hours. Also the NHS out of hours service 111 an absolute waste of time, tried twice in the last month on hold 40 then 35 minutes.
