Scott, what hurt Chicamagua and made it tough was a major flood prior to the Coasta Tournament which created a ton of water being pushed, so much water that it washed the grass out of the lake. Then we got slammed with a cold front that slammed the water temps from 55-56 down to 47-48. The whole tournament ended up being about on the fly adjustments once you located the groups that would eat. The lake was 6 feet lower than normal which made it a weird lake to fish. I talked to Buddy Gross and we decided that for the Costa event FLW stood for Fishing Lousy Water
The front desk clerk at the Holiday Inn in Sikeston is Becky Tollison. I'm her pastor. You made her day by letting her take your picture. I was fishing a BFL on KY Lake when she texted me the pic with you. If I would have known you were in town I would have hooked you guys up with a meal at Lambert's...the home of the throwed rolls! Best I can tell the fish are still staged up in the deeper water, points and so on. Fishing has been pretty tough here latly. Although this week has had some warm days hopfully warming up the water temp. I would think if any has moved up it will be bucks.
