He’s definitely the favorite because since his bronze at the covid Olympics he’s proven he shows up when the lights are brightest. Kishane appears to be the future of the sport but he’s still somewhat unproven. I don’t think a “big pb” will be necessary for Noah to win. I honestly think the gold medal time will be in the 9.75-9.85 range. That’s right in Noah’s wheelhouse. A 9.81 into a slight headwind proves he can go sub 9.8. I’m hoping for something close to 9.75, but it’s been 8 years since anyone went that low. Obviously, Kishane’s 9.77, Noah’s 9.81, and Fred’s 9.76 give me hope, but 🤷🏾‍♂️ 😂

Bolt always used to rest during Olympics year because burnout can take weeks/months to recover from. Tebogo's main competitions - Lyles & Knighton haven't run many races because they are aware of this.

A consistent 9.80 Lyles Vs Kishane's relax 9.77? Still giving Lyles a slight nod for consistency but as a fan of fast times I want to see Kishane run a 9.6 and take gold. Lyles running 9.78 is more than probable. Kishane 9.6 is an untested possibility but the young man has to prove himself under the Olympic pressure come August
