Ok, here we go! There is an explanation video that explains it in detail, but I’m going to do my best to at least show you why so many of us love BTS so much. The depth of their artistry is unbelievable at times. So, when this album was released, our guys told ARMY that it was about temptations we all face in life. They also stated that they leaned heavily into the theme through the book, Demian, by Herman Hesse. So, from the start of the video, literally every scene has meaning. Each BTS member enters the museum in pairs of older & younger (representing a mentor and student) except for Jin, the group’s oldest member. He stands entranced by the painting, “The Fall of the Rebel Angels”, while being perfectly centered between a black and a white doorway which of course suggests good and evil. In the following scenes, there are tons of references. For instance, the apple which is often thought of as a symbol of knowledge of good and evil. There’s also a painting of “The Fall of Icarus”. Icarus, against his father’s advice, flew too close to the sun so his wings were burnt off. The overall message is that in order to become a whole person, you must first destroy a world (stated as “an egg”, thus the face “cracking” at the end). The “angel” with the black wings is actually the god, Abraxas. This is NOT based on the biblical meaning of good vs evil! It means that we must embrace both the good/bad or positive/negative parts of ourselves in order to become a whole human being. In the scene with Abraxas, there’s a hearth with a mirror and a quote above the mirror. The quote is from Friedrich Nietzsche and says, “One must still have chaos within oneself in order to give birth to a dancing star”. Oh, and Suga playing the organ is directly from the book, Demian. He’s portraying the character, Pistorious. I hope this helps you understand a little more than you could possibly know on a first watch. Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
@@iDoNtHavEThiNk31 Thank you! I just discovered BTS a little less than two years ago, but it was this video and the storyline behind it that made me want to become an ARMY as fast as I could. I’m 56 years old and have always been both a music lover and in my earlier years, a musician. I have never come across a group who puts so much into their concepts and songs. It’s mind blowing to me!
@@sandydebord8153 thank you so much for your love and Support to our Bangtan, We really appreciate someone like you who put their heart to them,... Thank u so much Mama Army💜💜💜.. Borahae...
I’m excited with your journey with BTS! The more you watch them the more you will admire their musicality! All their music always have deeper meaning! Btw, it’s Jin and V’s birthday month. You may want to react to their solo music. Jin’s Epiphany and V’s stigma and singularity. Also, I highly recommend to watch their performance in MAMA 2019, it’s mind blowing!
Love you guys but I have to say I got a good laugh from the guy who said it's a beat switch when Suga started playing a classical music work by Buxtehude, a Baroque contemporary of Bach, on the organ. There had been a full pause in the music when RM read a passage from Hermann Hesse's Demian (but knowing what that content was would not be expected by a newbie listener, just that the music had come to a pause). Having listened to enough reactions from various young reactors, I note many love to mentally organize music into beat switches, often raising their hand so they can bring it down with an actual beat switch. Less formulaic artistry monkey-wrenches expectation and some still cannot let go of presumptions that beat switches are about to occur. However, music videos often augment songs with additional content. So, I got a definite laugh but would have found it more refreshing if this change had been approached without the standard template for absorbing how art is presented. I want to laugh with you, not at you unless you are telling a joke of course.
EXPLANATION VIDEO by a channel that is currently inactive called “Don’t Worry I’m Not Afraid” titled “Blood Sweat and Tears: What Does It All Mean?” The choreographers are Pakistani-Norwegian and they were recently interviewed by a publication (?) which has a channel here called Fuchsia something.
Tbh the thing about bts is a lot of armys are armys because of the good music and deeper meanings and the visuals and story telling and messages and the dancing and everything. However, if you feel more comfortable or would have more fun with the more superficial side of kpop music, bts might not be it for you and that's ok. There's tons of kpop music that is just about good bops and eye catching visuals. I'm sure there's good recommendations for those if you just ask ^___^

Спасибо за вашу реакцию! Очень интересно слушать разносторонне мнение по BTS. Приятно на вас смотреть)
The girl is so high.
First before you call yourself a BTS ARMY you have to familiarize all the names of seven members of BTS and make a research how the fanchant goes.
Yess. I did that before.
Familiarize their names(stage names & real names, birthdays, nickname, watched their beginning(journey)
this is the basic for beginner yup. not even army level yet
