Some people have nothing better to do than criticize when they should be thanking people like you that take the time and effort to make videos for those needing recipes. I for one am grateful for all of the TH-camrs that spend their precious time helping me on various things. Thank you ladies for sharing this recipe!!
Just made this ladies!! It was fantastic! I loaded it up with Yukon potatoes and wow... That gravy it makes goes so well on top of everything! Thanks for the help!
I have made this several times, But I washed my pork chops and browned them a little on each side then stuck them in the crock pot, servieced with Mashed potatoes or rice very good. Try it. Thanks Ladies.
I made this today and it was a delicious meal. Don't taste it until it is done and it hits the mashed potatoes. It is just a great comfort meal! I did thicken it afterword with a of flour. The poems chips after 8 hours just melt in your mouth. I highly reconnect this dish! Thanks Ladies for sharing this👍
just tried this one and it came out really well. Did it in the morning and set it for 8 hours. It finished at 3 and I got home just before 8 and the chops were FALLING apart. Thank you
The clasps on top of the crock are to be used when you are traveling in a car to prevent spillage. They are not used when cooking. The lid is heavy enough and needs to breathe.
i did almost the exact same recipe today ! i used pork country ribs 1 can cream of chicken n 1 can of cream of mushroom and 1 packet of italian good seasoning dressing packet. no water or broth needed, it will be to thin. cooked it in crock pot on medium 8 hours, AWESOME i do ur recipe also but i never add any liquid. ty 4 sharing . i bet white dry wine would be great in place of the broth ! have a great day. hugs
I made your crock pot pork chops. OMG my husband loved them. I did not have the dry onion soup mix; (so I found a recipe for dry onion soup mix online so I could make it as close to your recipe as possible) the recipe turned out great. Served it with mashed potatoes and roasted zucchini. Thanks for the recipe it's a winner.
Made this last week and my family went ballistic! :) To the point that when I wanted to make it again today and didn't have the pork gravy mix, my husband VOLUNTEERED to go to the grocery store to get it instead of leaving it out like I planned! Good stuff, ladies, thank you!
@LibrtyKera At the same time I totally give these two ladies positive props for being super nice and making a crock pot video series! I LOVE my crook pots and I found this video while searching for recipes.
If too much salt, modify. If you want more "real" ingredients, modify and add them. If you want more healthy ingredients "healthy choice soups, reduced sodium soup and broths, modify and add them. Don't complain, use this video as an idea, some to inspire! Thank you ladies for a great video. You have inspired me!
If too much salt, modify. If you want more "real" ingredients, modify and add them. If you want more healthy ingredients "healthy choice soups, reduced sodium soup and broths, modify and add them. Don't complain, use this video as an idea, something to inspire you! Thank you ladies for a great video. You have inspired me!
Read the directions on your Crock pot. I have one like it and I made the mistake of locking it while cooking. That's a no no. The locks are only for when transporting.
Cambell's does have a heart healthy lower sodium cream of chicken soup. Also, you can skip the soup mixes by using 2 TBS of Kitchen Bouquet and a half of a real onion finely diced. The chicken broth you don't need as it is already in the cream soup so just use a little water and you will be fine. It won't make a difference. You can also use onion flakes if you want - I just like real onion. A recipe isn't bad because of salt content - you just have to learn to adjust the recipes.
Great recipe and thank you ladies please relax you look a little tense. The only two things I did different was that use golden mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken and I browned my porkchops before putting them in and it was amazing thank you ladies
I made this recipe. I would recommend boneless pork chops. The meat will fall off the bone. I had to dig out the bones before we ate and some were very small. Great recipe.
Made this last night. It was seriously delicious! It was a little salty for my taste, so I'll probably make some changes next time. Anytime I've made pork chops they've been too dry. I don't know why I didn't think of using the crock pot. Thanks crock pot girls!!
Looks awesome, going to take screenshot of ingredients ty, I also have mojo marinaded pork chops, a bunch lol, can I wipe them and do this? How long cook to shred pork chops in this recipe? Tyvm
I tried this and used the really thick porkchops, like two inches at least. I seared them first as I work with chefs and they told me to do that. Mine came out a little tough in spots which I was very surprised after they had been cooking on low for eight hours.
I enjoy the video/recipe. I am a cook, and have no issues w/ what you use in your ingredients. Most are able to modify very easily. This is the USA, you have many options in order to find what you like, want or need.IF you find things that do not appeal to you move on or THINK IT DON'T SPEAK IT! Your negatives remarks about this video/recipe the video are childish and rude.I hope no one speaks to your family or kids in this way because they feel there is a fault with their creativity.Grow up.
My dear ladies, try frying the pork chops first, adds to the taste. I personally use a griddle pan to fry for about 5-6 minutes then add them to the slow cooker.
lol, was looking for a helpful comment. only found people talking crap. Hahaha, if you don't like it, why not just go to another recipe instead of wasting time being rude. damn.
Start with adding a small amount of the liquid to the ingredients and stir then slowly add the rest while stirring will get rid of those huge lumps....
This sounds wonderful!! And I love your crock pot girls site............so much to chose from. And yes, for those of you who don't like the ingredients, chose another recipe or alter the one you are viewing. Use some creativity, these girls have!! C'mon!!!!!!!
I would have to modify this heavy because basically you made MSG, salt, and chemical covered pork chops, but I DO like the idea and I thank you for posting it.
@dianaj54 I was simply offering an opinion, not "ripping it down" and I do understand -- I was simply making a request of a couple of women who have a great website. Don't be so offended and read it with such abrasiveness; you're taking my comment wrong if that is the case.
I found you girls on Facebook and wondered where you went and reading some things found you had to change some things. We are so glad I found you. Now I get to tease, since I'm old enough to be your granpa... :) You think those chops are thick?? Sweetie, you need some Iowa Chops.........
@LibrtyKera You know, I am a supporter of their site and have gotten lots of people to join it. I have every right to request recipes with healthier ingredients or healthier alternatives by expressing an opinion. Maybe in the future they will make this and say "or you can make it healthier by..." and everyone is happier. No harm, no foul. I thank the people who listed healthier ideas under the video without trying to make people feel bad. :)
I think you all have some great ideas. These ladies never put out there that these are 'low sodium, healthy recipes', just some crock pot recipe ideas which any of you are free to modify to your specific tastes. You can always lower the sodium content by using herbs instead of the soup mixes, low-sodium vegetable broth instead of chicken, or even just water. You can also use the low-fat chicken soup mix. Life's too short for drama over cooking videos! :)
The only thing I would do is to braise the chops off lightly before I put them in the crock pot...I dont like the boiled meat flavor and like the braised flavor frying them lightly in a skillet provides.
Talk about "policing the internet" -- I just looked through the replies and saw that one was blocked out and marked as "spam" when I opened it, all it was was a very polite reply someone posted offering a list of healthier options. Wow -- just, wow. THAT is pretty bad. Which of you marked it as spam so that it was censored?? Nice.
@LibrtyKera if you bothered to look I DO post my recipes and more. Now who is criticizing who? And you claim I have no life? And I see you didn't bother to read my other post on here did you? @LibrtyKera Sorry but if you put something up in a public type forum don't expect everyone to agree with you. @LibrtyKera At the same time I totally give these two ladies positive props for being super nice and making a crock pot video series! And you claim I have no life but YOU can criticize all like?
I have been a chef in worls class hotels for 32 years. I am not against convience foods BUT the way you girls did is is WRONG. Don't ever take raw meat and just put into a crockpot with other ingredents on top. The only thing your achieving is boiled meat at a slower pace. Not a lot of work is needed to correct this. In a skillet with a little olive oil or most any other fat including vegtable oil (small amount) On medium heat, with cold water rinse your meat to remove any old bloods, slightly season with salt and pepper on both sides slightly dust both sides with flour, when your oil just starts to smoke , place meat in skilit just for about 1 minuite on each sides to sear the meat and brown it but not to cook it. If you have a tongs pick up the meat and let the sides brown a moment. Your meat will still be quite raw. Now its ready for the crock pot. What did you achive by doing this? Not only will the color be more appealing, but you seal in a lot of the flavor. Most meats boiled from a raw state have a bit of a stink to them. Hope this helped you. Crock pot cooking is a convience to have something ready at a later time when you come home but you still have to take certain steps. Every thing raw in the pot is only a boiled dinner.
+b Tally I have to agree with this comment that it is just boiled meat. . I'm sure this might be a tasty recipe, but no one seems to make homemade food anymore, everything is out of a can. Diabetes is now off the charts in children today. No wonder since they are fed everything out of a can, box or fast food. I came here looking for other recipes of smothered pork chops, but this one isn't for me, i hate cream of anything out of a can.

Ok...that looks amazing and super simple. Well done ladies ! Thanks !
Oh, the fond memories of the ol' bump-it! Lol.
Love the simplicity of what sounds like a really good recipe!
FYI DON"T latch down the crockpot while cooking it could explode! The latches are only for transportation. Your chops look amazing!

Great video girls keep up the good work I loved it!
Aloha! From Hawaii.... My husband loved it!! I make it regularly now.🌺🌸🌼
just tried this one and it came out really well. Did it in the morning and set it for 8 hours. It finished at 3 and I got home just before 8 and the chops were FALLING apart. Thank you
I tried this but I added baby carrots and red potatoes and it was amazing!!!!!

A wire wisk works really well in mixing ingredients into Creamy Soups. Just a thought!! :) This looks like a GREAT recipe, and an EASY one!! Thanks!

I made this for dinner tonight.....WONDERFUL!
I like this channel It would be great to see you girls come back!
I tried the recipe out and it was so scrumptious and so delightfully sinful. the only thing I added to it was a bit of french onion soup.
Can't wait to try this recipe :)
**love your Scentsy in the back ground**
Can't wait to try this! Was wondering if you could put all into a freezer bag and freeze it to be cooked later?
Read the directions on your Crock pot. I have one like it and I made the mistake of locking it while cooking. That's a no no. The locks are only for when transporting.

Why don’t u girls come back? Your recipes r great & delicious.
OMGOSH....All I could think was, SALT SALT SALT...It will get you in your old age girls!
Start with adding a small amount of the liquid to the ingredients and stir then slowly add the rest while stirring will get rid of those huge lumps....
Could one use cream of mushroom instead of chicken?
Thx's looks tasty, going to make it.
adds flavor
Let's get crockpoted on down!!!
This sounds wonderful!! And I love your crock pot girls site............so much to chose from. And yes, for those of you who don't like the ingredients, chose another recipe or alter the one you are viewing. Use some creativity, these girls have!! C'mon!!!!!!!
We need more women like this in Canada!!!!! Wow!
Can u put a layer of sliced pot on the bottom to go with the pork chops
I would have to modify this heavy because basically you made MSG, salt, and chemical covered pork chops, but I DO like the idea and I thank you for posting it.
this sounds wonderful!! Putting it on my menu for next week! :D
Can you do on high if so how long
Use low sodium soup and sodium free chicken broth. Instead of onion soup, add fresh onions, garlic, black pepper. A lot less sodium that way.
@dianaj54 I was simply offering an opinion, not "ripping it down" and I do understand -- I was simply making a request of a couple of women who have a great website. Don't be so offended and read it with such abrasiveness; you're taking my comment wrong if that is the case.
Come back!
Looks interesting. If I may suggest that the chops should be pan seared first to enhance color and taste.
Do you add salt, or is their enough salt in the other ingredients to season?
..Looks great girls, pay no attention to the negative posts here, they just wanna run their mouths bout sumpin...........:)
If you don't have onion soup mix or minced onion what can you use
I found you girls on Facebook and wondered where you went and reading some things found you had to change some things. We are so glad I found you. Now I get to tease, since I'm old enough to be your granpa... :) You think those chops are thick?? Sweetie, you need some Iowa Chops.........
nice
Those looked more like pork steaks than chops. Doesn't matter, I love 'em both.😊
It looked like the pork was in chunks? Is that right? I've never fixed pork chops in the crock pot before so I wasn't sure...
I love dry onion soup mix but it upsets my husband's tummy. Can you recommend another dry soup mix in it's place? TY!
Au jus packet?
Can you do this with a pork roast?
Where are they now?
This is like paint dry. Pep it up...amoenit fun and entertaining
I respect what they are doing, but I agree with you... I was waiting for them to dump in a package of Ramen Noodles! O.o
I noticed you locked the lid.
The lid lock feature is only for travel purposes. Locking the lid well cooking is dangerous.
+xxxSpikeabooxxx is that right? don't lock it for cooking? it's for storage/travel?
+Okaythen001 yes do not lock it during cooking. It is only to be locked during travel.
This video is 10 years old where are you both ?? are you still making videos and if so where are the current videos' ???
LOL, you tell 'em!!

show a close up of the pork chops when done

they are long gone website no longer there :(
@mccannnable well said! you never have to follow a recipe exactly and i sure as heck never do :) that way i can make it my own. well said!!!

You should have added the other ingredients in the crock pot and you would have saved having to clean the separate bowl.

b Talalay just tried it your way and OMG what a hit. so delicious. O have seen other recipes stating to brine first also
Would you do the same with chicken?
Ouch. Real nice constructive criticism. How long did it take you to troll this?
I cant believe people are fighting on a crock pot recipe video *_*
Right Lol so funny
Can you use real thick pork chops?
I also wanted to add.... have you ever watched AVERAGE BETTY's videos? Shes quick and too the point and has some great humor. ..hope this post helps!
@Signe52003 LOL, if I had their creativity in the kitchen, I wouldn't need to look up recipes online and then follow them word-for-word! :)
@Swayzee68 Yes sadly I agree with you.
