      I do also love the pc12 but it's a cabin class single engine bird i just prefer the king air for it's twin prats and the safety factor that they provide in case of an engine loss.

      Piagio Avanti 180 EVO is a kick-ass aircraft. I have one fly over practically everyday at about 3500 on its was to SJC from down south. Sweet sounding too.

    I would’ve added a Cessna caravan. It’s definitely not the most expensive airplane, but it also offers unique shortfall features

    My favorite is the Pilatus PC-12 NGX, in my opinion is one of the most advance and beautiful turboprops right now, but I love as well the TBM, but unfortunately carried up less seat passengers than the PC-12 .

    Thank you so much for the informative well-assembled video and the "no-nonsense" comments. My favourite? The Avanti of course. Next to the fantastically shaped Italian, the others look like unshaven lumberjacks.

    The Epic 1000 is by far the best value in TuboJet aircraft with 33oknt cruise on 55 gal/hr and a real range of up to 1900 miles east bound (with tail wind) and only $4.5 million I think it beats them all

    Personally the PC12 is best turboprop. The EVO is a beautiful beast of aircraft. Didn’t the company cease production and trading?

      The Mubadala Investment Company from what I can find owns Piaggio Aerospace. It is a sovereign wealth fund owned by the government of Abu Dhabi.

    I really think Turboprops are the way to go for the Future with economical concerns and Jetfuel prices going higher and higher. Especially since a lot of Turboprops can now match Jets in Performance but are way cheaper to operate and maintain.

    For me, Piaggio P.180 Avanti Evo is the best aircraft because it's engine design.

      until you see how much repairs and general maintenance is. (they are a huge headache to deal with, and downtime on them is in the months)

    All are great aircraft in their own right. For well known dependably and long term manufacturing the King Air 360 and Pilatus 12.

    Between the Piaggio and King Air, I’ll take the Piaggio- it’s faster, flies higher, and more fuel efficient. For about the same price.

      I think Piaggio went out of business in 2019 and they made less than 250 of them. I'd be worried about maintenance and parts with the piaggio.

    Good video but it jumped from Piper, TBM and Pilatus to big twins to fast. Not even included the Beechcraft Denali (former Cessna).

    Hard to compare twins vs single... A 208 with a honeywell turbine is hard to beat for off runway ops.

    For the price of a Kingair you could buy a Citation M2, which goes faster and thus gets you as far in half the time.

    If you get a Beechcraft King air 2 series you can go single pilot. I am pretty sure the 3 is two pilot and requires a type rating.

    Cesna 421 from 1969 acomodate 8 people, speed about 400 km/h, range 2 700 km, price to overhaul two engines about 50 000 USD, my beloved Pilatus 12 speed 500 km/h one engine, price for overhaul one engine about 250 000 USD, so for speed 100 km per hour you shell spend 5 times more. OK this is fine if you want to spent five times more for a little bit more speed it's OK

    Just fly commercial. Having your own plane is the most grotesque over indulgence I can possibly imagine. You dont need to be anywhere that quickly.
