- Limited Life is an odd mix of a Social and PvP Minecraft game started by Grian. Players are thrown into a tiny world with almost no rules, except survive as long as possible.
Green = 16+ Hours
Yellow = 8+ Hours
Red = 0+ Hours
Death = Lose 1 Hour
Kill = Gain 30 Minutes
Boogeyman Death/Kill = Rates Double
Red Players are given the goal of killing all the other players in the game. Yellow players can kill all green player. Each episode Boogeymen are chosen in secret and randomly to kill another player. If they fail to do so, they will lose all except 1 of their lives in the next episode.

Martyn complaining of everyone killing all the animals and Etho just looking down and killing a pig is prehaps one of the best things to come out of this series.
No villages means the chances of finding carrots are slim so pigs are basically worthless. It's chickens and cows that are the easiest to breed in limited border worlds with no villages.
You can get carrots from zombies though

Lol I love the scene with Scar and BDubs asking Etho to be their Dad and Cleo trying to get out of the situation loll had me rolling.
I think that is definitely one of my top favorite moments of this episode 😅the way he tried very politely to decline by saying he isn't qualified and that Cleo is a great mom was comedy gold.

I like the boogie man feeling more like an active thing with weight. The first season with it still had that "Sure they get a penalty but even being red doesnt force anything" but getting extra time is gonna be big. Love the iterations from run to run
Giving Boogies a bonus as well as a penalty is really changing the strategy. It’s given Bdubs Scott and Martin bonus time advantages from day 1. It will be harder to complete in future episodes when people have more diamond armour.

For those wondering, the world was generated in 1.17, then upgraded. So there are lot of diamonds above deep slate.
Yeah, I definitely noticed some of the terrain didn’t seem like 1.18+ so that explains it. Was there a reason why they generated the world like that?
Probably so they don’t have to spend so much time in the deepslate layer
@@goldenpixel1599 grian explained - they were spending far too much time digging all the way down to diamond level just to find nothing and digging all the way back out.
@@korenn9381 honestly they couldve just used a datapack instead that adjusts the diamond spawning, they're already using one anyways for the timer. Though its not a big deal or anything lol
@@snailymitch imo they should be using one anyway to spawn much smaller biomes so they can have one of each in their tiny area

So many pro-strats on display here. Chests off the ground so they can't be trapped. The pufferfish. Always acting a little sus after the boogieman is called, so when it's eventually Etho, no one will notice a difference. The water bucket against the TNT... a true master of his craft.

The comedy potential for Joel and Etho to be bitter exes this series is truly unlimited. It’s also heightened by jimmy still being friendly to tango despite being a bad boy now. Ties vs bad boys will be fun to watch play out
This is my favourite Minecraft series (the life series). Hopefully this season will be just as good as the previous ones. Love the time concept and can't wait to see farmer Etho and his shenanigans
The best part is that everything gets so condensed. Also, multiplayer with Etho is always a blast.
Something I love in the Life series is the new and old faces. Etho is interacting with some people he's known for over a decade, like Bdubs, and knows all the right levers to pull to tease him, as well as interacting with people he's never met before, like Joel.
In some of the of the Life series Etho took a more conservative approach, basing with those he really knew. Double life was a real treat, as it forced him out of his comfort zone by being with Joel, as we got to see those two interact. We'll see what path he takes this series.

Oooooh I'm so excited! It'll be neat to see how the timing gimmick and change to killing rules changes things up! And very much looking forward to team TIES, though I have a sneaky suspicion its going to play out more like the early team ups of Third Life. I really hope Etho does try to make some farms this time around, would be neat to see what he does with so little time and threats to his life. (Also the way he called himself a 'Production Man' reminded me of Producer Man, a lovely Shade -E-Es season 7 animatic, by Ava Stone)

Etho factoid confirmed, etho is less than 43 years old, we are slowly building a profile on him, and with all of this info like his age being less than 43, him working in the gardening sector previously , getting a plastic bag stuck on his car ( means he can drive, older than 18!) We can plug it into an ai and it will spit out a 100% accurate picture of him! We are close!

Etho better win this season. I’m not sure how to feel about the life series changing every season though, it might be nice to have a repeat once of one of the older formats they did.
