To this day I still have yet to beat The Lost :/ and with my xbox no longer working I never will...still an amazing game that people should know about, best best RPG I've ever played. And NO game has a soundtrack than can match TLR's soundtrack.
man, i love this game it deserved much more than people give it credit for. my only disapointment through the whole game was not being able to wield the faleria hearts with Rush accompagnied with a weapon art, that would have been so cool.
i dont why it took me a while to figure it out this track only played while fighting Remnants, Namul Niram, Jager and his flying remnant thingy, Cyclops and Gae Bolg, that duke prick and his tornado mech remnant thing and the fallen
@Blitzballgott In the full game there is a tutorial which explains the battle basics, and unlocks new features step by step. The demo is merely a cutout from shortly after the tutorial.
@agentfjols oh, well the lost is for a guild quest, i dunno if he's for an actual sidequest in the game, but The Fallen is, which is a diff version of The Lost. You fight the fallen during the quest from Wyngale (the sovani in Baaluk, during disk 2 after you have to go to Undelwalt, when Mt Vackel is on the map, but the quest dissapears if you enter Undelwalt).
It is just like level for you. Higher battle rank - stronger mobs are spawning on certain areas. So BR actually doesn't mean that u can kill boss more easilly. Your strentgh depends only on yours units skill levels and passive stats.
@agentfjols i believe thats Liafort, and gives Morale Control, which is [Morale Up] +4 (you get more morale than normal from that unions actions) and [Morale Down]+4 (that union loses less morale than normal from enemy actions)

NieR comes pretty close with its soundtrack. Though, that one has a LOT of vocal music while this is more epic riffs and such.. but if you haven't already; give the NieR OST a listen.
Cyclops standard model dissapointed me... It took me a lot of fights to beat every single DLC monster, but the cyclops... THE CYCLOPS! I just raped him.

I think square enix should hire this composer in making OST for Final Fantasy.

And FF14 is kinda all over the place depending on the content (especially when it comes to Trials/Raids).

Gae Bolg (Berserk) wasn't deadly when I fought it. It killed 1 Union or brought all union to half or near death but Cyclops was easy to beat.
Its good, but Gates of Hell rules this.
