Love it! I was gonna spring for Stars & Stripes but I might wait for this to hit the site. Weekend Warrior, no garage, but I wash my ride twice a week late in the afternoon in the shade. Thanks E for another great video.!
Stoner has an odorless iron remover if you want one to use in your garage. Because they're using an odorless chemical, it does not turn purple. They have a version where they add a chemical that turns orange but it will stain uncoated concrete so buy the indicator free version for use on uncoated concrete.
@@Ecdetails I didn't realize you had your own product brand haha! I just started watching your videos and sometimes skim through or play them in the background so I missed any clues!
@@Ecdetails man now that’s awesome. I saw the first time you talked about it . I know it’s mean a lot to you and I know a lot of us would love to support it. Can’t wait to get it 💪
@@TannerBobbitt It's not staining I was worried about. I've had cleaners fade plastics before after a few uses. It's strips the natural oils in the plastic and makes them look old quick. Happened on a Honda Fit and Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. I've become much more cautious about using strong cleaners or touchless products long term.
Ive been LOVING old glory! Use it 20:1 in a spray bottle and it works very well as a wheel and tire cleaner. Witch's Brew is AMAZING!!! Been loving the update to the formula. Its every bit as good as Sidero, if not better.
Witches brew is stout but smells like we all farted in a room with the door close after eating stuff were allergic too , Sidero is different and I told Bob this it actually has 2 things its doing limescale which it will turn green and iron Witches brew doesnt have those properties - Gotta test in hot sun too to see the comparison but shes stout for sure e
@Ecdetails ive tested witch's Brew in direct sunlight. Zero issues. As far as limescale remover goes, I haven't seen sidero be too effective with that. If you are wanting to remove calcium build up, why would you ever reach for Sidero? You wouldn't lol you would reach for Energo. I was told Sidero could remove water spots. maybe if they are super fresh. Other than that I don't know anyone that would reach for an iron remover to remove water spots.
I'd put it more in a pre-wash category for most people. If you are someone who maintains your vehicle pretty well, then it absolutely can be a touchless wash in only one step!
Great vid Eddie as always! You gonna do a review the new optimum touchless soap as well? I preordered that but my hopes aren’t high. This looks dope tho!
Great video looking forward to a test on a really dirty vehicle!! Thanks for the info!! Any idea when that might be available? Hope all is well!! Thanks!!!
I got Stars and Stripes but stripes doesn’t shoot out of my foam cannon. Comes out like it’s nutting 😂 only on the initial pull of the gun does it come out, then it’s just water from there. I thought it was the cannon, so I swapped it with another and same 🤷🏻♂️
@@Ecdetails but from 2 different cannons? I used the top of the stars cannon and it did the same. But stars(blue liquid) shoots out fine. Stripes(red liquid) shoots blanks
I can understand that touchless is trending, I do worry that long term these more caustic chemicals will cause problems. I think they have their place like really dirty fleet cars but wouldn’t use them every wash at home.
ooooooooh idk fam, touch less car wash sounds like making love with your chonies on but the chonies don’t have the fly that opens 😜 maybe for a quick wash in the winter for those of us who got no garage 🤘🏽🐿️💨
YA true I wanted to see how it did in sun with the soap being on the car it did well now will it get every car this clean nah man but it gone mine clean enough I hit with a drying aid and kept it moving
I have seen nothing but good things from Chem X, except the price? Why would I use this product over a Rinseless? Rinseless washing is the best thing since sliced bread!
Great questions , even the strongest rinseless cleaners can’t tackle heavy road film, labo preludio handles that pretty good but hybrid washes coming clutch for those and trust me I love rinslesss like cigars
Really oily layers on the car, or thick dirt. And in theory, this may have a lower risk of fine scratches (swirls) than a rinseless wash. And then people that have deionized water might be ok with just doing a touchless wash and air drying, and thus perceive that as easier than a rinseless contact wash. But most detailing enthusiasts would not be ok with air drying.
Korean or Japanese brand (forgive me I can’t remember the name) I remember you mentioning in a video that they sent you product?! Couldn’t read the bottle…🤔

What are you using as your drying aid?
Stay strong detail spray - coming next week - we doing a fundraiser to help a kid dying of Sanfilippo Syndrome
Even strong APC can get paint clean but its tough on the clear coat which is basically just plastic. How caustic is Old Glory, safe on plastics?

No good try bro
So is this something that is replacing stars and stripes 2 step with a 1 step touchless wash, or is this just a pre wash?
Nah it won’t replace Stars and Stripes I saw this more for me you the detailer something like a prewash or in this case a touchless for me
