Dude, it’s been a minute since I sat down and watched one of your videos, but my guy’s lighting is on point! That intro felt like a Hollywood production. Maybe it was the color grading, but either way the videos are looking good brother! 👏
It's great especially for super dirty vehicles I do a final rinse on my dump trucks with reverse osmosis water an my trucks are the cleanest working dump trucks in my area
Eddie I’ve been using this on customers cars that don’t get too dirty and it works!!!….The only thing I can say negative is the snake oil if applied in direct sunlight will stain the paint if you let it set to long. His ph neutral soap is also a great soap.
@@Ecdetails the degreaser is a great prefoam and tire cleaner with no agitation. Snake oil last for about 2 months in my conditions here in NC and the vehicles sit outside all the time it’s wild for a foam on protection
I love Stars and Stripes content and I tried the kit, but it left the road film on my whip when I use it. Probably because I don't have a powerful pressure washer. Thank you for reviewing it though EC...
I'm leaving this stuff for the heavy truck/equipment guys...I just think it's an unnecessary risk for automotive plastics and seals. pH neutral soap/rinseless with an occasional stronger prewash (Frostbite/Active Foam/Frostbite/Touch-Less/etc) and/or mineral remover to unclog a coating or do a decon wash is all that is really necessary.
I got a Tesla. I say that because Tesla trim sucks and I have yet to stain it with Palido with chem x or with a new Decon foam from ADS I just think you have to do it half the car spray off
It seems to me that you should try a 2- or 3-ph system without spraying off the first alkaline foam before applying the acid foam. Maybe there is something about the stars and stripes, or maybe this is a time-saving hack that would work with other soap systems. Maybe with Labo?
Oh, stars is the acid, so they do acid first and then the alkaline? Still, I'm wondering if doing the same process without rinsing in between but with another product line would work.
I'm very surprised not many know about this. especially professional detailers. I've been using stars n stripes and Heavy aduty for years on larger trucks ... it just simply works with little effort and saves so much time
It does have a scent. I use the gallons with the suttner st164 dual foam injector now, but even before when I used it the way you are it had a pleasant scent.
@@Ecdetails lmao....Its a pretty strong smell to me. Vehicle even smells like it afterwards. I'm thinking its not a scent that's added to it, just the chemicals used. Maybe when you have Bob on ask him and see what he says.
Given the extreme pH values of those chemicals (see the MSDS on their website) you should do some more testing to see if the pH value really does neutral out once they are mixed (as they claim) and you could also do some material safety tests.
@@Ecdetails I have. Most of the times it works (equalling out), sometimes it doesn‘t as there could be buffer solutions in those chemicals and/or other side effects preventing it.
@@Ecdetails another questions is whether you can actually make sure that the two chemicals properly mix on the whole car. Ehat about cracks and crevices? And what happens if one of the chemicals stays on itself? Is it still safe then?

I doubt this'll be out in the UK. But how would the 3ph (2ph in this case) method stack up like this with chemicals already available, such as Bilt Hamber touch-less and Labocosmetica purifica?
I mean, to get some of those knarly trucks clean, it would have to be all out punching. Looks very good afterwards. It looks like an interesting way of cleaning - 'The shock stack'??? I've got both mentioned above, my cars are ceramic coated. I'm going to try stacking both of those on top of each other and see what and how much dirt they both pull off the panels. This could be a new quick midweek, or you're running late to cars and coffee meet or something.
I don’t really understand why it needs to be “shocked” when you can easily rinse it off. I understand with carpets since there’s still something left in the carpet even after extraction.
It's essentially breaking the static bond between the dirt and the paint. If you apply them at the same time, then you end up with a ph neutral soap. Doesn't work as well.
I think the shock theory is use low PH first, it is PH of 2 undiluted. The second soap is a PH of 13. The second soap likely ends up making it all neutral. I don’t know if there is some sort of chemical reaction that helps with cleaning. Many other companies with multiple PH systems want you to rinse off the first soap before applying the second soap, and some have a 3rd soap. I kinda assume that if you don’t rinse off the low Ph soap, you lose the benefit of the high PH soap. I think a chemist would have to answer that. Also, most companies suggest use the high PH soap first. This company says to use the low PH first. Maybe you could alternate your washes from low to high, and high to low the next time.
